ÇANAKKALE İLİ AYVACIK İLÇESİ KÜÇÜKKUYU ÖNLERİNDE 10 AYLIK MELDA BEBEĞİN SU YATAĞI İLE SÜRÜKLENMESİ/ DIRFT OF 10 MONTHS OLD MELDA BABY IN A LILO OFF THE SHORES OF ÇANAKKALE CITY AYVALIK PROVINCE KÜÇÜKKUYU 74 OLAYIN KISA ÖZETİ 02 Temmuz 2015 tarihinde Çanakkele ili Ayvacık ilçesi Küçükkuyu önlerinde su yatağı üzerindeki 10 aylık bir bebeğin rüzgâra kapılarak sürüklendiği ihbarının alınmasını müteakip görevlendirilen TCSG-8 süratle olay mahalline intikal etmiş ve bahse konu bebek denizden sağ olarak kurtarılmıştır. Kurtarılan bebek Küçükkuyu sahilinde ailesine teslim edilmiştir. SHORT SUMMARY OF THE INCIDENT On 02 July 2015, Turkish Coast Guard received a notification through Call-158 Notification and Request Line regarding Küçükkuyu location, Ayvacık district, Çanakkale province regarding a 10-months-baby on a lilo dragged to the open sea. Following the receipt of the notification, the Turkish Coast Guard Boat called TCSG-8 rapidly carried out a search and rescue operation and the mentioned baby was rescued alive. She was delivered to her family on the shore of Küçükkuyu.

İZMİR İLİ ÖZDERE AÇIKLARINDA SÜRÜKLENEN BİR JET-SKI NİN YEDEKLENMESİ/ BACKING UP OF A JET-SKI WHICH WAS DRAGGING OFF THE SHORES OF İZMİR CITY ÖZDERE 76 OLAYIN KISA ÖZETİ 03 Temmuz 2015 tarihinde İzmir ili Özdere açıklarında bir jet-ski nin sürüklendiği ihbarının alınmasını müteakip görevlendirilen TCSG-311 tarafından icra edilen arama kurtarma faaliyetinde, bahse konu jet-ski de bulunan şahıs bota alınmış, jet-ski yedeklenerek Kuşadası Limanı na intikal ettirilmiştir. SHORT SUMMARY OF THE INCIDENT On 03 July 2015, Turkish Coast Guard received a notification through Call-158 Notification and Request Line regarding a jet-ski put out to sea on İzmir province, off the coast of Özdere. Following the receipt of the notification, the Turkish Coast Guard Boat called TCSG-311 carried out a search and rescue operation and the person on jet-ski was taken on board and the jet-ski was towed to reach Kuşadası.

5 On 03 July 2015 evening, I and my cousin took off with a jet-ski. After a while, we approached to the shore and then my cousin went ashore to say hello to his friend while I stayed on jet-ski. Then I was dragged to sea with breeze and keys of the jet-ski were on my cousin. There was no boat around to help, so I called 158 and reached Coast Guard. Following my call, TCSG 311 personnel, Petty Officer Cihan from Kuşadası contacted me and informed me that they would be there soon, not to panic, to stay calm and not to jump into the sea. My helpless and sea-stuck situation instantly turned into hope. They reached me soon as they promised and until they came, Petty Officer Cihan had kept contact with me to protect my calmness and they finally saved me. They took me on board, offered tea and water to me and asked whether I was thirsty or hungry. It was a way more pleasant and warmer welcome than I expected. Then they towed me and the jet-ski to reach Özdere. The most stressful and difficult evening of my life ended without any accident. I owe my life to TCSG 311. I am really grateful to all the personnel, first of all Commander of the ship and Petty Officer Cihan. 77

MUĞLA İLİ MARMARİS GÖKOVA KÖRFEZİ TEKE BURNU ÖNLERİNDE EFESİ İSİMLİ YOLCU TEKNESİNİN SÜRÜKLENMESİ/ DRIFT OF PASSENGER BOAT NAMED EFESİ OFF THE SHORES OF MUĞLA CITY MARMARİS GÖKOVA BAY TEKE CAPE 78 OLAYIN KISA ÖZETİ 13 Temmuz 2015 tarihinde Muğla ili Marmaris Gökova Körfezi Teke Burnu önlerinde içerisinde 11 yolcu ve 3 mürettebat bulunan bir yolcu teknesinin makine arızası nedeniyle hareketten sakıt kaldığı ve sürüklendiği ihbarının alınmasını müteakip görevlendirilen TCSG-3 tarafından icra edilen arama kurtarma faaliyetinde, bahse konu tekne Sahil Güvenlik botu tarafından yedeklenerek Küfre Koyu na demirletilmiş müteakiben 11 yolcu Sahil Güvenlik botuna alınarak Ören Limanı na intikal ettirilmiştir. SHORT SUMMARY OF THE INCIDENT On 13 July 2015, Turkish Coast Guard received a notification through Call-158 Notification and Request Line regarding Teke Cape, Marmaris Gökova Bay, Muğla province regarding a passenger boat put out to sea with 11 passenger and 3 crew due to machine break-down. Following the receipt of the notification, the Turkish Coast Guard Boat called TCSG-3 carried out search and rescue operation and the mentioned boat was towed to anchor Küfre Bay and to arrival of its 11 passenger to Ören Port.

7 To whom it may concern, Coast Guard Communication Center, On 13 July 2015, we had a motor break down on our Gökova boat trip. We tried to save the boat with our own efforts. Our calls of help were unnoticed. Finally, we called Coast Guard when our boat started to drag through the rocky shore. Within the fifteen minutes after the call, Coast Guard Boat arrived and took our boat to safe shore and evacuated us. They even carried our luggage. They took us to Ören District, offered tea and found a hotel for us. We have never seen such a sincerity and genuineness, even in a holiday resort. Commander Yunus uplifted my family s and other passengers moods with his calmness and steadiness. I thank him and his team at your presence. I am proud of our Coast Guard Command. I received more than I paid with taxes. I witnessed that Turkish Army is still the most disciplined and properly working institution of my Turkey. BARTIN İLİ AMASRA ÖNLERİNDE B.ALBAYRAK İSİMLİ LASTİK BOTUN SÜRÜKLENMESİ/ DRIFT OF A RUBBER BOAT NAMED B.ALBAYRAK OFF THE SHORES OF BARTIN CITY, AMASRA 80 OLAYIN KISA ÖZETİ 14 Temmuz 2015 tarihinde Bartın ili Amasra önlerinde içerisinde dört kişi bulunan bir lastik botun sürüklendiği ihbarı alınmıştır. Söz konusu ihbarın alınmasını müteakip görevlendirilen DEGAK-03 tarafından icra edilen arama kurtarma faaliyetinde, bahse konu lastik botun yeri tespit edilmiş ve bulunan dört kişi ile birlikte yedeklenerek Amasra Limanı na intikal ettirilmiştir. SHORT SUMMARY OF THE INCIDENT On 14 July 2015, Turkish Coast Guard received a notification through Call-158 Notification and Request Line regarding a rubber boat dragging on Amasra District, Bartın Province. Following the receipt of the notification, DEGAK-03 Team rapidly carried out a search and rescue operation and the mentioned boat was detected and towed with its 4 crew.

9 On 14 July 2015 evening, we sailed as four people from Bartın Port. Towards evening, our boat broke-down in Tarlaağzı Port location. We couldn t fix the break-down and suddenly we were dragged to the rocky shore. Then we called 158 Coast Guard Line with fear and panic and asked for help. Within a very short time, Coast Guard Search and Rescue Team found us. When we saw them in an instant, our fear suddenly transformed into happiness. They took us to their boat, asked about our health and took a close interest in us. Then they towed our boat and helped us to reach Bartın Port. I sincerely thank for myself and my friends to the team that rescued us and to you to send them. 81
