Yaklaşık 3,5 saat süren uçak yolculuğundan sonra bavulları Haussmann üzerindeki otelimize bırakıp öğleden sonra şehri keşfetmek üzere sokaklarda dolaşmaya başlıyoruz. İlk durağımız şehrin Quartier Tuileries bölgesi. Bu bölgenin bir yanında Avrupa nın en görkemli tarihi meydanlarından biri olan ve yıllık Luksor taşının bulunduğu Place de la Concorde, diğer yanında ise dünyanın en önemli sanat koleksiyonlarına ev sahipliği yapan Louvre Müzesi yer alıyor. Müzenin 1989 da açılmış olan Piramit Girişi nden giriyoruz. Da Vinci nin Şifresi filmini seyredenler için bu giriş gayet tanıdık gelecektir. Louvre da görmeyi en çok istediğim resimler; Sakallı nın puzzle ını yaptığı ve salonumuzu süsleyen Jan Vermeer in Hollanda daki gündelik ev hayatını anlattığı Dantelci Kız tablosu ve babamın ben çocukken puzzle ını yaptığı Leonardo da Vinci nin Rönesans porte sanatının en tipik örneği olarak kabul edilen Mona Lisa sı. Ancak her iki resim de puzzlelarıyla kıyaslandığına o kadar küçükler ki, hayal kırıklığına uğruyorum. Louvre un koridorlarında saatler harcadıktan ve Marly nin Atları, Michelangelo nun Ölen Köle heykeli ile Milo Venüsü heykelini de gördükten sonra Louvre dan çıkarak Napolyon un 1805 yılındaki zaferleri anısına dikilen Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel in altından geçtikten sonra Carrousel Bahçesi nde yürüyoruz. İçerisinde restoranlar, galeriler ve mağazalarla donatılmış Jardin du Palais Royal i de gezdikten sonra pahalı butikleri, kitapçıları ve otelleriyle Paris in en gösterişli caddelerinden biri olan Rue de Rivoli de dolaşıyoruz. En sevdiğim ressam Claude Monet in nilüferler serisini görmek üzere Jardin des Tuileries içindeki Musée de l Orangerie ye de gidip zemin kata iniyoruz. Ertesi gün Pazar, şehirdeki tüm mağazalar ve restoranların büyük çoğunluğu kapalı. Bu yüzden günü birlik Disneyland a gitmeye karar veriyoruz. Quartier Tuileries and Louvre Museum It s Saturday and it s a little cool in Paris. We start to wonder in the street to discover the city after leaving the bags in our hotel on Haussmann after about a 3,5 hours of air travel. Our first stop is the Quartier Tuileries region of the city. In one side of this region, there is the Place de la Concorde, which is one of the most glorious historical squares and in which the years old Luksor stone to be found, and on the other side there is the Louvre Museum which hosts to the most important art collections in the world. We enter from the Pyramid Entrance of the museum, which was opened in This entrance would be very familiar to the people who watched the Da Vinci Code. The artworks that I wanted to see the most are; Jan Vermeer s Weaver Girl in which he depicts the daily house life in Holland of which its puzzle was made by Sakallı and Mona Lisa which is accepted as the most typical example of Renaissance portrait art and of which its puzzle was made by my father when I was a child. But both artworks are so little when compared to their puzzles that I get disappointed. After spending hours in Louvre s corridors and seeing Marly s Horses, Michelangelo s Dying Slave and Venus of Milo sculptures, we get out of Louvre and passing under the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel which was built as a tribute to Napoleon s victories in 1805, we walk in the Carrousel garden. After wondering around Jardin du Palais Royal which is endowed with restaurants, galleries and shops we ramble in Rue de Rivoli which is one of the most glorious streets of Paris with its expensive boutiques, bookstores and hotels. We come down to the ground floor to see the artist that I love most, Claude Monet s water lilies series in Museé de l orangerie in Jardin des Tuileries.

2 110 SEYAHAT - TRAVEL EuroDisney EuroDisney şehir merkezine trenle 45 dakika mesafede yer alıyor. Kapısında her zaman uzun kuyruklar var. Çocuklarının ellerini tutan ve onların çekiştirdiği yere doğru sürüklenen anne babaları görmek pek eğlenceli. EuroDisney temel olarak üç alandan oluşuyor. Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios ve otellerin bulunduğu Village. Tam gün için all access bilet alırsanız, tüm alanlara girebiliyorsunuz ve içerdeki aletlere binmek, turlara katılmak veya stüdyo kısmını gezmek için ayrıca bilet almıyorsunuz. Biletlerimizi aldıktan sonra gezmeye Disneyland Park tan başlıyoruz. Disneyland Park ta kendi içerisinde 5 ayrı bölüme ayrılmış durumda. Fantasyland, Discoveryland, Adventureland, Frontierland ve Main Street. Main Street üzerinde hediyelik eşya satan dükkânların ve cafelerin yer aldığı ve en ucunda tüm Disney filmlerinin fragmanlarında ve girişlerinde görülen, Disney in sembolü haline gelmiş olan Uyuyan Güzel in Şatosu nun (Sleeping Beauty Castle) yer aldığı bir cadde. Bu cadde üzerinde Disney karakterleri günün farklı saatlerinde geçit töreni şeklinde hayranları ile buluşuyor. Cafelerin birinin terasında oturarak bu geçit törenini izlemek çok keyifli. Main Street te yürürken tüm çocukların kafasında Mickey ya da Minie kulaklı taçlar görüyorum, ve tabii Ben de istiyorum! diye tutturuyorum. Kulaklarımı taktıktan sonra Fantasyland turumuza başlıyoruz. Yanımızdan geçerken annesine beni ve kulaklarımı işaret eden 3-4 yaşlarındaki çocuğa ters ters bakıyorum. Öncelikle, gondol şeklinde tasarlanmış botlara binerek it s a small word turu yapıyoruz. Bu turda dünyanın farklı ülke ve kültürlerine ait bebeklerin it s a small word şarkısı eşliğinde nasıl dans ettiklerini izliyoruz. Küçük çocukların bu tura bayılacağına eminim! Sonrasında ise çok rağbet gören Peter Pan s Flight turunu yapıyoruz. Peter Pan ve arkadaşları ile birlikte yatak odasından çıkıp Londra sokaklarından Varolmayan Ülke ye (Neverland) doğru uçuyoruz, Wendy ve Kaptan Hook ile karşılaşıyoruz. Fantasyland kısmında küçük çocuklar için diğer güzel atraksiyonlar: Çocukların çay fincanlarının içine binerek döndüğü Mad Hatter s Tea Cups ve tabii Le Carrousel de Lancelot yani atlıkarınca. Fantasyland kısmından sonra biraz macera yaşamaya karar vererek Adventureland bölümüne doğru gidiyoruz. Önce iki korsan gemisinin saldırısı arasında sıkışıp kalıyoruz (Pirate s Beach) sonra ise Karayip korsanları tarafından esir alınıyoruz (Pirates of the Caribbean). Tam bu kadar macera bize yeter diyoruz ki, Indiana Jones çıkıyor karşımıza ve onunla birlikte eski bir maden arabasına binerek heyecanlı bir yolculuğa çıkıyoruz (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril). Maden arabasının hızından başım dönüyor, çığlıklarımı koyuveriyorum. Macera ve adrenalinden yorgun düşmüş bir halde Batı nın eski bir maden kasabasını andıran Frontierland kısmına doğru gidiyoruz. Burada da bir maden arabasına biniyoruz ve madenin derinliklerine doğru yola koyuluyoruz. Üstümüz başımız hafif ıslanmış şekilde, evet gene bolca çığlık atarak, yakam paçam bir tarafta iniyorum Big Thunder Mountain dan! Frontierland da diğer güzel atraksiyonlar, Phantom Manor ve Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing. Disneyland Park taki son durağımız ise Discoveryland oluyor. Burada Star Wars ın uzay mekiğine binerek yıldız savaşlarına katılıyoruz. Üç boyutlu bu gösteride uzay mekiğinin içerisinde dünyanın yörüngesinden çıktığınızı hissediyorsunuz (Star Tours). Sonrasında ise Space Mountain Mission 2 ile uzayın derinliklerinde kayboluyoruz. Uzayda gezinti karnımızı acıktırıyor ve nerede yemek yesek diye bakınmaya başlıyoruz. Sonunda yemeği Walt Disney Studios tarafında yemeye karar veriyoruz. Stüdyo tarafında Walt Disney in hikayesini de öğreniyoruz. Walt Disney, Kansas City de gazete gazete dolaşarak çizdiği karikatürleri satmaya uğraşıyormuş. Ancak tüm yazı işleri müdürleri ona karikatüre yetenekli olmadığını, başka iş aramasını söylüyormuş. Ancak karikatür Walt Disney in hayat amacı, tek rüyasıymış. Bu nedenle işin peşini bırakmamış ve en sonunda bir kilise rahibi Walt Disney den kilisedeki aktivitelerin resimlerini çizmesini istemiş. Walt Disney in çalışabilmesi için de bu kilisenin eski garajını kullanmasına izin vermiş. Bu garaj çok bakımsız, farelerle dolu bir yermiş. Ancak o farelerden biri Walt Disney i şöhrete kavuşturmuş! İşte Mickey Mouse böyle doğmuş. Stüdyo tarafında trenle etrafı gezebilir, Disney çizgi filmlerinin ve filmlerinin kısa görüntülerini ve çizim hikâyelerini gösteren filmleri izleyebilir Disney karakterlerinin sahne şovlarını izleyebilirsiniz. Akşamüzeri, hem beğendiğim Disney karakterlerinin hediyelik ürünlerini almak hem de kendimize Disney geçidi için güzel bir bulmak üzere tekrar Disneyland Park tarafına geçiyoruz. Disneyland ta Gezerken: Parkta bazı aktiviteler için boy sınırlaması var. Bu nedenle önceden bir park haritası edinerek hangi aktivitelerin boy sınırlaması olup olmadığını öğrenmekte fayda var. EuroDisney de her zaman kuyruk beklemek zorundasınız, bunu bilin. Bir aktivitenin giriş kapısında ortalama kaç dakika bekleyeceğiniz yazıyor. Hafta arası bu süreler 5-10 dakika iken haftasonu, 3 dakikalık bir aktivite için 1 saat bekleyebiliyorsunuz. Fast Pass: Çok kuyruk olan ve bekleme süresi çok uzun olan aktiviteler için düşünülmüş hızlı geçiş sistemi. Bir aktiviteye fast track bilet alarak, bilet üzerinde yazan saatte aktiviteye sıraya girmeden, fast track/öncelikli geçiş kapısından girebiliyorsunuz. Fast Pass aldığınız saat ile size aktiviteye girmeniz için verilen saat arasında 1-1,5 saat oluyor. Unutmayın, aynı anda sadece 1 fast pass alabiliyorsunuz, yani bir fast pass aldıysanız, onu kullanmadan diğerini alamıyorsunuz. Park haritasında fast pass alınabilen aktiviteler ve fast pass gişeleri de belirtilmiş. EuroDisney Next day is Sunday, most of the stores and restaurants in the city are closed. So we decide to go to the Disneyland for one day. There are long queues in its entrance. It s really fun to see the parents who are dragged by their kids that are holding their hands. EuroDisney basically consists of three areas. Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios and the Village in which the hotels are found. If you buy an all access ticket you can enter all areas and you don t pay extra to use the devices, joining the tours or to tour the studio section. After we buy our tickets, we start our tour from the Disneyland Park. Disneyland Park is divided to 5 different sections in itself. Fantasyland, Discoveryland, Adventureland, Frontierland and the Main Street. Main Street is a street in which there are souvenir shops and cafes and on the edge there is the Sleeping Beauty Castle, which can be seen in all Disney trailers and beginning of the movies, which has become a symbol of Disney. On this street in various hours through the day, Disney characters meet with their fans in parades. It is a joy to watch those parades in the terrace of the cafes. While walking through the main street I see Mickey or Minnie eared hairbands on the heads of children, and ofcourse I start to insist I want it too! After I get my ears we start our tour of the Fantasyland. I glare at the boy who shows his mother my ears who is 3-4 years old. First, we make the it s a small word tour by getting on the boats that are designed as gondolas. In this tour we watch various babies from various cultures of the world dancing in it s a small word song. I am sure that little kids would love that tour! After that we make the Peter Pan s Flight tour, which is very popular. We fly with Peter Pan and his friends out of his bedroom and through the Neverland from the streets of London, and meet with Wendy and Captain Hook. Other beautiful attractions for little kids: Mad Hatter s Tea Cups in which the kids turn around in little tea cups and ofcourse Le Carrousel de Lancelot also known as merrygo-round. After the Fantasyland section we decide to live a little adventure and go through the Adventureland section. First we get caught between the attacks of two pirate ships (Pirate s Beach) later we are being taken hostages by the Pirates of the Carribbean (Pirates of the Caribbean). While we were saying that much adventure is enough for us, Indiana Jones comes along and

3 112 SEYAHAT - TRAVEL 113 we go for another exciting adventure by getting on his tram (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril). I get dizzy by the speed of the tram and I scream. We go to the Frontierland which reminds of a western old mining town after getting tired of adventure and adrenaline. In here we get on a tram and get to our way inside a mine. I get off the Big Thunder Mountain by getting a little wet, and yes, by screaming again and in a bedraggled way. Other beautiful attractions in Frontierland; Phantom Manor and Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing. Our last stop in Disneyland Park is the Discoveryland. In here we get on the star ship of Star Wars and join the star wars. In this three dimensional show you feel that you are getting out of the orbit of the world in the star ship (Star Tours). After that we get lost in space with Space Mountain Mission 2. The trip to the space made us hungry and we started to look around for a place to eat. Then we decided to eat in the Walt Disney Studios section. In the studio section we also learn about Walt Disney s story. Walt Disney was struggling to sell his caricatures by going to newspaper to another. But all the Editors were telling him that he was not talented and that he should have found another job. But caricatures were Walt Disney s only aim and only dream. Because of this he did not quit on his dream and finally a priest in a church asked Walt Disney to draw the activities in his church. He also gave the garage of the church for Walt Disney s use. This garage used to be a very dirty place which was full of rats. But one of those rats brought Walt Disney fame! That s how Mickey Mouse was born. In the studio section you can stroll around with train, you can watch the cartoons and the short views and the drawing stories that shows the Disney cartoons and watch the stage shows of the Disney characters. In the afternoon, we pass on the Disneyland Park section both to buy the souvenirs of the Disney characters that I like and to find a good place to watch the Disney parade. While strolling around in Disneyland: In the park there is a length limitation for some activities in the park. For this reason it is beneficial to get a map and learn which activities have the length limitation beforehand. You always have to wait in the queue in EuroDisney, you should know that. How many minutes you are going to wait more is written on the entrance door. While those periods are 5-10 minutes length in the week days, you might wait up to 1 hour for an activity of 3 minutes in the weekend. Fast Pass: A fast passing system that is planned for the activities which has the most waiting time and that has the longest queue. By buying a fast track ticket for an activity, you can enter from the fast track/ priority passing door at the time that is written on your ticket without waiting for a queue. There is approximately hours between the time that is written in your Fast Pass ticket with the time you have to get in to the activity. Don t forget, you can only buy one fast pass ticket in one time, that means if you have bought a fast pass, you cannot buy another until you use the one that you have. In the map of the park the activities and the fast pass booths are stated. Champs-Elysées Eyfel Kulesi ve Ertesi gün sabah erkenden kalkıp yollara düşüyoruz. Ben Paris in belli başlı iki büyük alışveriş merkezi olan Galeries La Fayette ve Au Printemps ın içindeki tavan vitraylarının fotoğraflarını çekmek istediğimi söylediğimde Sakallı bu durumu pek hoş karşılamıyor, alışveriş merkezine girip de bir şey almadan çıkmayacağımı düşündüğü için önce yan çizer gibi yapsa da sonra istemeye istemeye kabul ediyor. Her iki alışveriş merkezi de Haussmann üzerinde ve otelimize yürüme mesafesinde olduğu için Klasik ile Barok tarzını bir arada yansıtan Opera Binası nı geçerek yürümeye başlıyoruz. Fotoğraf çekme işim bittikten sonra Paris in en ünlü alışveriş caddesi Champs-Elysées e doğru gitmeye karar veriyoruz. Önce Haussmann dan Arc de Triomphe ye dek yürüyoruz. Napoléon, en büyük zaferi kabul edilen 1805 yılındaki Austerlitz savaşının ardından askerlerine eve döndüklerinde zafer taklarının altından geçeceklerini söylemiş. Bir yıl sonra ise dünyanın en ünlü zafer takının yapımına başlanmış. 50 metre yüksekliğinde olan Arc de Triomphe bugün zafer kutlamaları ve geçit törenlerinin başlangıç noktası. Takın altından geçerek önce Avenue des Champs-Elysées de sonra Chanel, Dior ve Valentino gibi lüks markaları dükkanlarının yan yana yer aldığı Avenue Montaigne de dolanıyoruz. Sakallı beni mağaza vitrinlerinden uzak tutuyor. Öğle yemeği sonrasında Eyfel Kulesi ne gidiyoruz. Önünde upuzun bir kuyruk var daki Evrensel Fuar a gelenlerin ilgisini çekmek için yapılan bu kule New York taki Empire State binası yapılana dek dünyanın en yüksek binasıydı. Yapıldığında çok fazla eleştiri alan Eyfel Kulesi artık şehrin sembolü haline gelmiş durumda. Uzun kuyruğun bitmesi ve bizim çift katlı asansörlere binerek yukarı çıkmamız toplam 3,5 saat sürüyor. Yukarı çıkınca beni dümdüz bir şehir karşılıyor. O zaman anlıyorum ki aslında Paris e yukarıdan bakmak yerine, aşağıdan Eyfel Kulesi ni de göreceğin bir yerden bakmak gerekiyor. Öğleden sonra Seine Nehri nde bot turu yapmaya karar veriyoruz. Bot turu sırasında Paris in ilk dökme demir köprüsü Passerelle des Arts ın altından geçiyoruz. Eskiden darphane olan Hotel des Monnaies i, devrim zamanı hapishane olan Conciergerie yi ve Gotik mimari örneği, Paris in sembollerinden biri olan Notre Dame Kilisesi ni görüyoruz. Katedralin doğu ucundaki Uçan Payandaları net göremiyorum. Notre Dame ı gezmeye tekrar geleceğimiz için bozuntuya vermiyorum. Tekne gezileri hergün 10:00-19:00 arası ancak yaz döneminde 21:00 e kadar. Tekne tur operatörleri aynı zamanda akşam yemekli geziler de yapıyor. Vedettes de Paris-İle de France, Bateaux Parisiens, Batobus, Bateaux-Mouches ve Vedettes du Pont Neuf en bilinen tekne turu operatörleri. Champs-Elysées and The Eiffel Tower The next day, we wake up early and hit the road. When I say that I want to take the photographs of the stained glasses of the two biggest shopping centers of Paris, La Fayette and Au Printemps, Sakallı does not take it well as he thinks that I would not return from the mall without buying anything, he first tries to evade but in the end he accepts to come undesirably. For both shopping centers are on Haussmann and a win a walking distance to our hotel, we pass by the Opera Building, which depicts the the classic and the Baroque style and start walking. We decide to go to Champs Elysées which is the most famous shopping street of Paris. First we walk through the Arc de Triomphe from Haussmann. Napoléon, while returning to home after,austerlitz in 1805, his biggest victory, told to his men that they will pass under the arch of triumph. After one year the building of the most famous arch of triumph. The Arc de Triomphe, which is 50 meters, high is the starting point of passage and the ceremonies. We pass under the arch and wonder around first in Avenue des Chapms-Elysées, then we tour Avenue Montaigne in which there is luxurious brands stores like Chanel, Dior and Valentino take place. Sakallı keeps me away from the windows of the stores. After the lunch we go to the Eiffel Tower. There is a long queue in front of it. This tower, which was built in order to grab the attention of everybody in the Universal Fair in 1889, was the longest building of the world until the Empire State building was built in New York. Eiffel Tower which was criticized a lot when it was first built, is the symbol of the city now. The ending of the long queue and our heading to the elevators and go up is taking 3.5 hours. When we go up a flat city welcomes us. Then I understand that one should not look to Paris from above, but should look from under Eiffel in a place where you can see the Eiffel too. We decide to make a boat trip to the Seine River in the afternoon. During the boat tour we we pass under the first cast iron bridge of Paris, Passerelle des Arts. We see the Hotel des Monnaies which was a royal mint in the history, Conciergerie which was the jail in the revolution time and the Notre Dame Church which the example of the Gothic architecture and a symbol Paris. I cannot see the shore in the eastern edge of Cathedral. I do not express as we will come to tour Notre Dame later on. The tour is between 10:00-19:00 everyday but in summers it s until 21:00 in summer time. Boat tour operators also prepare tours with dinners. Vedettes de Paris, İle de France, Bateaux Parisiens, Batobus, Bateaux- Mouches and Vedettes du Pont Neuf are the most famous tour operators.

4 114 SEYAHAT - TRAVEL 115 St Germain- Des- Prés St Germain- Des- Prés Akşam gün batarken St Germain- Des- Prés tarafına gidiyoruz lerde entelektüel kesimin uğrak yeri olan bu caddede birbirinden güzel kafeler, eski ve ikinci el kitap satan dükkanlar yer alıyor. Buraya geliş amacım Paris in ünlü cafelerinden Les Deux Magots ve Cafe de Flore u görmek, buralarda yemek, içmek. Les Deux Magots hala edebiyat çevresinden entelektüel yazarların uğrak yeri olma özelliğini koruyor. Hemingway gibi ünlü yazarların uğradığı bu cafenin dekorasyonu da 20 lerden, 30 lardan kalma bir tarza sahip. Cafe adını içerideki sütunda yer alan iki Çinli tüccar heykelinden (magot) alıyor. Les Deux Magots ta hayatımda içtiğim en pahalı sıcak çikolatayı yudumluyorum. Sonra Art Deco bir tarza sahip olan Café de Flore a gidiyoruz. Burada ise akşam yemeği yemeğe karar veriyoruz. Yemek sonrası ise yorgunluktan bitap düşmüş şekilde otelimize dönüyoruz. Centre Pompidou ve çevresi Salı günü sabahtan Beaubourg ve Les Halles bölgesine gidiyoruz. Burada beni çeken şey Paris in modern sanatlar müzesi Centre Pompidou nun borulardan oluşan renkli duvarları oluyor. Müze de gazeteci Sylvia von Harden in portresini ve kübist tekniği sevmesem de (Picasso duymasın!) Georges Braque nin Le Duo isimli çalışmasını beğeniyorum. Bu bölgede Paris teki son Rönesans dönemi çeşmesi Fontaine des Innocents i ve Le Defenseur du Temps heykelini de görüyoruz. Sonrasında 19. yüzyıldan kalma porselen bebek görmek için Musée de la Poupée ye gidiyoruz. El yapımı porselen bebeklerin sergilendiği vitrinlere yüzümü yapıştırıp bebeklere hayranlıkla bakıyorum. Babamın Almanya ya fotoğraf fuarına gittiğinde getirdiği kahverengi saçlı, pilli, o zamanlar nerdeyse boyum kadar olan bebek geliyor aklıma. Nedense bebeği değil babamı özlediğimi fark ediyorum. Müze çıkışında sesini duymak için arıyorum. Müzenin bir de bakım bölümü ile eski ve vintage oyuncakların satıldığı küçük bir dükkanı var. Eğer bebeğinizin doktor bakımına ihtiyacı varsa, burada tüm hastalıklara çare buluyorlar! Centre Pompidou At noon we go to the St Germain- Des- Prés side when the sun is setting. In this street which is the haunt of the intellectual sect, there are beautiful cafes, old and new book sales. My aim in coming here is to see the Les Deux Magots Café de Flore, one of the famous cafes of Paris, and wine and dine here. Les Deux Magots is still the haunt for the intellectual writers of literature community. In the decoration of this café, of which was visited by famous writers like Hemingway, have a style that is from the 20 s and 30 s. The Café takes its name from the two statues of Chinese merchants (Magot) that are placed in the column inside. I take sip from the most expensive hot chocolate I have ever had in my life. In the museum even though I did not like Sylvia von Harden s portrait and the cubist technique (I hope Picasso does not hear about this!) I liked the work of Georges Braque named Le Duo. In this region we see the fountain of the Renaissance age, Fontaine des Innocents and the statue of Le Defenseur du Temps. After that we go to Musée de la Poupée to see the porcelain dolls from the 19th century. I look at the windows that the handmade porcelain dolls are being exhibited with admiration. The doll with hairs, batteries and almost in my length at time that my father brought from the Germany Photography fair comes to my mind. I don t know why but I realize that I missed my father rather than the doll itself. I call him to hear his voice after the museum. I wonder how the French, who are so careful in restoring everything, ignored this? I think that even though the dance was not deriving from there, it will always be remembered with it.
