3 WHAT IS IT ABOUT? Düzce Rotaract Association invites you to an international youth exchange project Heal The World financed by Youth in Action Programme. Health has been our biggest worry of all times, through out history. Many has worked on medical science observing nature for provide human with a healthy long life. Countless researches has been done so far, plenty of theories has been proved and as humanity we might refer that we have come in some certain point in our life extending process. But are we aware of what we need to do to apply the known parts of human health mystery to our lives? Are we using the knowledge of mankind, those whom spent their entire lives on brining a small brick to our prevention wall from dieases? Heal the World, a Project to raise awareness on subjects of todays health issues, is going to be between 25 June - 03 July 2014 in Bolu, a city in the north of Turkey which is in top ten cities of Turkey with a high profile health, education and life standards. 5 participants from each 6 countries will come together to make workshops on first aid, health life requirements, healthy diets, daily sports, dental care and prevention from cronical dieseases. With 30 participants in total, youth works, volunteering, social issues such as tolerance, gender equality, active citizenship and inclusion will be underlined in non-formal education style. Touristic tours and open public actions will contribute to this unique interaction of cultures. Youth groups of particular countries will present their cultures in cultural nights and participants will be in a harmonic zone with a friendly environment where racism, exclusion, prejiduces and hostile attitudes can not enter. We invite you to take this creative adventure with us and are looking forward to see YOU in Bolu!
4 WORKING METHODS: Presentations Competitions Interviews Discussing Groups Team Building Activities Touristic Visits Parties! High motivation & full participation and a basic level of spoken ENGLISH is required! Personal skills and talents will be welcomed! GROUPS: Each country group will be formed by 4 participants and 1 group leader, 5 in total. Majority of the participants should be in ages between 18-25, 1 person for each group might be in age balance. (Leaders can be older than 30) Gender Balance (Only for participants): Czech Rep 3 boys 1 girl, Italy 2 boys 2 girls, Lithuania 1 boy 3 girls, Slovakia 2 boys 2 girls, Poland 3 girls 1 boy.
5 ABOUT BOLU Situated at the north west coast of Turkey, Bolu is a touristic nature city with habitants overall including its province called Abant which has 15 kilometers of wide shores by the Abant Lake. 3 hours distance average to Istanbul and 2 hours away from Ankara, Bolu is environned by natural green colours and has a typical Black Sea climate which provides visitors with a fully fresh weather and an ineffable vigor. This place also offers its visitors a deep history as certain historical items, statues and parts of ancient buildings such as columns, walls of destroyed castles and hidden tunnels can still be found during random excavations.
6 WHERE WILL WE STAY? During the project we will be staying in the facilities of Bolu Youth Center. Rooms will be for 4-6 person with private bathroom for each, closets and desks will be avalaible in the rooms. In the building there is a market, dining hall, tv hall, and workshop spaces. 3 days of the project, to reflect about natural life, we will be staying in tents which will be decorated by our team as a tent camp. So be prepared to stay 2 days in nature!

8 ABOUT THE PROCESS Advanced Planning Visit Project Reimbursement (%50) (The organization will reimburse participants %20 right over, and %50 after the final report. )
9 ADVANCED PLANNING MEETING Advanced Planing Visit will bring together group leaders of each country. This trip is just for group leaders. There will be 6 leaders from 6 different different countries who are going to represent their particular group in this meeting. Between the 6th 9th June, we are going to meet with group leaders in Istanbul to assure a sustainable preperation for the project; handling the subjects such as project schedule, transportation issues, social activities, rules, aims, expectations, financial issues, health measures and other important matters. The organization will reimburse group leaders %100 of all travel expenses (plane tickets, bus tickets, train tickets etc.) upon submitting valid invoices and boarding passes. Each group leader must join this meeting to establish a substansive understanding among other leaders and to grow fundamental basis of further cooperations. 10 TRAVEL INFORMATION ADVANCED PLANNING MEETING (APV) June 2014 Your travel has to be scheduled to arrive in SAW Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (For APV only Istanbul is available) not after than 13:00 on 06 June %100 of travel expenses will be covered upon submitting of valid invoices and boarding passes. Accomodation and food will be covered by the programme. PROJECT 25 June - 03 July All group members must travel together. Arrivals have to be scheduled to arrive in SAW Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport or Ankara Esenboga Airport not after then 13:00 on 25 June %70 of travel expenses will be covered upon submitting of valid invoices and boarding passes. 11 TRAVEL INFORMATION SAW ISTANBUL SABIHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT (asian side) The distance between SAW Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Bolu city center is 229 km, 3 hours. Detailed info for the travel will be brought to the group members as a travel pack document 3 weeks before the action.
12 TRAVEL INFORMATION ANKARA ESENBOGA AIRPORT AIRPORT The distance between Ankara Esenboga Airport and Bolu city center is 201 km and 2 hours. Detailed info for the travel will be brought to the group members as a travel pack document 3 weeks before the action.

14 CONDITIONS OF REIMBURSEMENT Your travel dates could be +/- 2 days than the event dates. All boarding passes have to be kept and brought. You will need them for reimbursement. Each journey has to be presented by official invoice and ticket. You must have a travel insurance containing travel dates by your own funds and bring it with your travel documentation. Before buying your tickets you must contact with ICL Association for comfirmation. Each country group has limits for round trip travel reimbursement. Check it on the chart below. The invoice of flight ticket must contain your name, the starting and finishing place and the date of the journey and the price of the ticket. Whatever official is your paper, if these data are not on it, you can not get it reimbursed! And use your full name as it is the same as your passport. E-tickets: An e-ticket is NOT an invoice! If necessary, call the airline/train company/etc., explain them the situation and ask them to give you a receipt/invoice. If you buy tickets online, take care that you tick the box indicating hat you want an invoice. They must have STAMP&SIGNATURE of the Air Company or Travel Agency.
