1 İngiizce gramer yapısının teme mantığı Tense kavramı üzerine kurumuştur. Bu kavramın Türkçe'ye çevrimesi mümkün omadığı için bu ünite içerisinde Tense kavramı bu haiye kuanıacaktır. İngiizce'de Tense sözcüğü ie anatımak istenen, eyemerin gerçekeştikeri zamanara dayaı bir sınıfamadan çok, fiierin kuanım biçimerine dayaı, başka bir deyişe BİÇİMSEL bir sınıfandırmadır. Buna göre İngiizce'de fiierin cümede ana fii oarak kuanımarı biçimse oarak iki zaman doğrutusunda gerçekeşir. Bunar Present ve Past zamanar oarak adandırımaktadır. Tense sözcüğünün ifade ettiği anamın önceike fiierin yapıarının biçimse özeikeri oduğu düşünüdüğünde, Present ve Past sözcükerinin de yine gerçekeşen eyemin şu anda veya geçmişte kama durumarından çok, biçimse özeiği ie igii oduğu söyenebiir. Yani bir Tense'in Present veya Past oduğunu beiremek için Tense'in biçimse özeiği önemidir. Buna göre Tense'er, Present ve Past oma durumarına göre şu şekide grupandırımaktadır. PRESENT TENSES The Simpe Present Tense (Özne + to be [am/is/are] + mesek / yer / sıfat) I am a student. She is the best student in the cass. They are at home. 2 Burada dikkat edimesi gereken bazı noktaar vardır. Bunar şu şekide sıraanabiir: 1- İngiizce'nin Tense mantığı Türkçe'de yoktur. Doayısıya Tense, Present, Past gibi teme kavramarı ve yukarıda istesi verien Tense başıkarını Türkçeeştirmeye çaışmayınız. 2- Tense kavramı önceike yapıarın biçimse özeikerini ifade etmek amacıya kuanıır. Bu noktada bir Tense'in Present veya Past oması, o Tense'in biçimse özeiği ie igiidir. 3- Tense'er ie igii özeikeri ve diğer konuarı Türkçe karşııkarını kuanarak öğrenmeye çaışmanız İngiizce'nin gramer mantığını tam anamıya kavramanızı engeer. 4- Tense'er ie igii oarak ik önemi nokta, yapıarı biçimse oarak ayırt etmektir. İkinci önemi nokta da Tense'erin kuanım mantıkarını anamaktır. Bu aşamada şu unutumamaıdır: İngiizce'de Tense'er, Türkçe'de kimi zaman ifade edien karşııkarından çok farkı mantıkara da kuanıabimektedir. Doayısıya Türkçe'de Zamanar ie İngiizce'de Tense'erin örtüştüğü noktaarın faza omadığı söyenebiir. 5- Yukarıda istesi verien Tense başıkarına Türkçe karşııkar bumaya çaıştığınızda bunun sadece birkaç tanesi için mümkün oacağını; diğereri için ise faza anamı omayan adarın kuanıacağını göreceksiniz. Bunun yerine yukarıda istede beirtien Tense başıkarını orijina haeriye kuanmaya özen gösteriniz. 6- İereyen aşamaarda bu Tense başıkarında geçen Simpe, Present, Perfect, Progressive (Continuous), Past, Present ve Future sözcükerinin niçin kuanıdığı, Tense ve Time (Zaman) farkı detayı oarak açıkanacaktır. 7- Son oarak, isteye dikkate bakıdığında Tense başıkarının beirenmesinde rasgee davranımadığı, bei bir düzenin ve simetrinin izendiği rahatıka görüebiir. 8- Kimi zaman bieşik cümeerdeki fiierin zaman uyumu içinde omaarı gerekir. Zaman uyumu kuraı gereğince teme cümecik present veya future tense'erden birinde ise buna bağı yan cümecikerin present tense'erden birinde oması gerekir. Buna karşın teme cümecikteki eyem, past tense'erin herhangi birinde ise yan cümecikteki eyemin de uygun past tense'erden birinde oması gerekir. Bu gene kuraa uymayan durumar vardır. Bu tür kuanımarı iyi tanımak sınav açısından önemidir. Bu önemi noktaarı vurguadıktan sonra konunun diğer ayrıntıarı aşağıda verimiştir. The Present Progressive (Continuous) Tense A) Gene Özeikeri: 1- The Present Progressive (Continuous) Tense i içinde buunduğumuz anda ya da konuşma anında yapmakta oduğumuz hareketeri veya o sıraarda yapmakta oduğumuz işeri ifade etmek için kuanırız. 2- Cüme yapısı "to be" yardımcı fiiinin am/is/are haerinden kişiye uygun oan birisi ie birikte Present Participe (Ving) kuanıarak ede ediir. Kuanım biçimi şu şekide taboaştırıabiir: 8

Bu tür bir kuanım için, cümede geecek ifade eden tomorrow, soon, next year, shorty, in Juy, at Ramadan Bayram, on Tuesday, unti October gibi bir zarf kuanıması gerekir. Bu kuanım kısaca şikayet veya eeştiri amaçı kuanım oarak akıda tutuabiir. Ancak bazı durumarda şikayet veya eeştiri anamı omaksızın very often anamında da bu Tense kuanıabiir. Ayrıca kişiye uygun oarak yardımcı fii ve fii kuanımı farkıdır. Kuanım biçimi şu şekide taboaştırıabiir: + Özne fii I / You hate watching footba matches. Non-Progressive fiier süreç bidirmeyen ve bu yüzden Progressive Tenseere kuanıamayan fiierdir.
