1 THE PASSIVE VOICE (Edilgen Çatı) Aktif cümlenin nesnesi me, you, him, her, it us, you, them ise; aşağıdaki yol izlenir. Ask, pay, offer, show, give, tell, send, teach gibi fiillerin pasif hali iki türlü yapılır. Help was given to the poor The poor was given help I - by me he - by him she - by her it - by it we - by us they - by them me - I him - he her - she it - it us - we them - they GENİŞ ZAMAN (the simple present tense) Aktif bir cümleyi pasif (edilgen) yaparken aşağıdaki sıra takip edilir : 1) Etken cümlenin nesnesi edilgen cümlenin öznesi olur. 2) Be yardımcı fiili cümlenin zamanına ve öznesine göre uygun olarak ilave edilir. 3) Etken cümlenin esas fiili 3.hale getirilir. 4) Edilgen cümlede nesneden önce tarafından anlamını veren by edatı getirilir. 5) Etken cümlenin öznesi edilgen cümlenin nesnesi olur.
