Number of personnel was approximately 66,000 in 1970s but it decreased to 32,401 by the end of October 2011. Number of personnel was declined by 26 % between 2002-2011. 6 47

Our annual allowance was risen by 5-times at the end of 9 years. 8 47

A connection was provided from Ankara to İstanbul, Bursa and Kütahya. Economic, social and cultural life of Ankara and Eskişehir was revived. Journeys for sightseeing, health and tourism were risen to 40% from 15%. 11 47 Ankara Konya YHT Line was commissioned İSTANBUL 533 km ESKİŞEHİR YOZGAT Yerköy POLATLI 405 km 212 km KONYA COMPLETED HIGH SPEED LINES HIGH SPEED LINES BEING CONSTRUCTED YHT operations were commissioned on 24 August 2011. 225 thousand passengers were carried in the first 2 months. 12 47

Local Railway Industry has been established. Adapazarı High Speed Trainset Plant Çankırı High Speed Train Switch Plant Sivas Modern Concrete Sleeper Plant New plants have been established for development of supply industry. GOVERNMENT and MUNICIPALITY HAVE BEEN CORPORATED IN İZMİR SUBURBAN. İSTANBUL İZMİR İZMİR 30.11.2011 Cumaovası 79 km suburban has been constructed between Aliağa-Cumaovası. Services have been put into operation in March 06, 2011. It is expected to carry 33 millions passengers in 2011. We have Produced First Local Diesel Trainset and new Generation Locomotives The first local production diesel trainset Anadolu has been put into operation on İzmir Tire line in May 30, 2011. 30.11.2011 The first production of new generation locomotive aimed export has been realized with corporation of TÜLOMSAŞ and GE in February 28, 2011. We Have Renovated Railway Stations and Terminals.
