GB Safety General Electric current Dispatch In case of danger Do not direct the air flow directly at people. Do not obstruct the air flow and keep a minimum clearance of 50 cm on all sides. Before Use GB Assembly WARNING! Prior to assembly, make sure that WARNING! the mains plug is unplugged. Assemble two parts stand of tower fan. Reverse the tower fan and keep it. Let the power cord through the hole of the base. Assemble the stand with the tower fan. Make sure that cable is not caught. Fix the stand to the tower fan with 4 screws. Set the power cord into the power duct under the stand. Reverse and put the tower fan on it s stand. Height adjustment: Turn the latch to the left. (counter clockwise) For the adjustment, pull or push the device to the desired height. Finally, turn the latch to the right and lock it. 20

GB Before Use Remote control: battery placement and changing: 1- Open the battery compartment on the back. 2- Insert two batteries. 3- Close the battery compartment. Battery changing: 1- Open the battery compartment on the back. 2- Insert 2 (AAA/LR03 1,5 V) batteries. 3- Close the battery compartment. On the top of the appliance, you can find the control panel/remote control base. To open the panel, push the cover down. For closing, push the cover down again. ATTENTION! Do not place the appliance directly next to anyheat sources and avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Heat ATTENTION! may cause damage to the tower fan. 21

Access will be approved by double signal. Display on appliance will swich on. Press the ON/OFF button to adjust the 8 speeds of the fan. The selected speed will be indicated on the LCD. Stage 1 = low speed Stage 8 = high speed Press the ON/OFF button. Access will be approved by signal. Display will switch off. 22

GB Special Functions Oscillation: Timer: Ionizer: Appliance is equipped for horizontal sewiveling. Press the OSC (f) button to select one of the three stages of the oscillation direction. OFF - 90-180 - 360 - OFF This feature allows the device automatically switches off. To set the use of time, press once the TIMER (d) button for each hour. OFF - 1-2 - 3...- 12 - OFF Negative ions are released into the air. These ions remove the fine dust particles in the air and kill the bacterias, viruses and funguses on the positive ions. Enviroment (air) will be more fresh. Press the ION (b) button to activate the ionizer. The current symbol will appear on the screen. Press the same button to switch off. Wind mode: The speed is changed in a six second time slots for two wind modes. The speed is reduced every thirty minutes. Press the MODE (e) button to select the desired wind mode. The mode will be indicated on the LCD. NORMAL - NATURAL - SLEEP - OFF 23

After use GB Cleaning/care Switch off and unplug the appliance. WARNING! Allow appliance to cool before starting with cleaning and care. This will prevent the appliance from WARNING! accidentally being switched on. ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Do not use cleaning agents, abrasives or alcohol, since they could damage the housing. Dust accumulations inside the appliance can be removed with a vacuum cleaner or by blowing with compressed air. Clean the appliance only with a dry or moist cloth. The appliance requires no special maintenance and care. Wind the power supply cord. Protect from dust during storage. Appliances that have not been in use for an extended period of time, must be checked by a trained technician before being put back in operation.
