TÜREB / TWEA IWEC 2016 Türkiye Rüzgar Enerjisi Birliği (TÜREB), kar gayesi gütmeden, rüzgar enerjisi ile ilgili bilimsel, teknik ve uygulamalı araştırmaları takip etmek, Rüzgar enerji kaynağının kullanımını yaygınlaştırmak için faaliyetlerde bulunmak amacıyla, 10 Şubat 1992 tarih ve 92/2752 sayılı Bakanlar Kurulu kararı ile kurulmuştur. TÜREB, Yenilenebilir Enerji Genel Müdürlüğü (Eski EİE), Türkiye Elektrik İletim A.Ş. (TEİAŞ), Enerji İşleri Genel Müdürlüğü (EİGM), Enerji Piyasası Düzenleme Kurumu (EPDK) ve T.C. Enerji ve Tabii Kaynaklar Bakanlığı nın koordineli çalışmalarıyla Türkiye Rüzgar Enerjisi potansiyelinin ülke ekonomisine kazandırılması doğrultusunda önemli çalışmalarda bulunmaktadır. TÜREB aynı zamanda Avrupa Rüzgar Enerjisi Birliği (Wind Europe) nin ve Küresel Rüzgar Enerjisi Konseyi (GWEC) in resmi olarak üyesidir ve amacı Türkiye rüzgar enerjisi potansiyelini ülke ekonomisine kazandırmaktır. Turkish Wind Energy Association (TWEA) established at 10 February 1992 with 92/2752 council of ministers decision is a non-profit organisation, follows scientific, technical and practical studies about wind energy and operates in extanding the usage of wind energy resources. TWEA operates at important trainings coordinately with General Directorate of Energy Affairs, Turkish Electricity Transmission Company, General Directorate of Energy Affairs, Republic of Turkey Energy Market Regulatory Authority and Republic of Turkiye Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources for gaining Turkey s wind energy potential to economy. TWEA is also an official member of Europan Wind Energy Association (Wind Europe) and Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and its purpose is gaining Wind Energy potential of Turkey to the country s economy. 1
