1. GENEL BİLGİLER, TEMEL İLKE VE KURALLAR 1.1. Bu kılavuz, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılı için İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi nde öğrenim görme amacıyla başvuruda bulunup Marmara Üniversitesi Yurt Dışından Öğrenci Seçme Sınavı (MÜYÖS 2014) ile İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi tarafından yapılacak Mülakat Sınavı na katılacak yurt dışından adayların uymak zorunda oldukları kuralları kapsar. 1.2. İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi Yurt Dışından Öğrenci Seçme Sınavı 2014 (29 MAYIS-YÖS 2014) iki aşamadan oluşmaktadır: a) Marmara Üniversitesi Yurt Dışından Öğrenci Seçme Sınavı (MÜYÖS 2014), b) İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi tarafından yapılacak Mülakat Sınavı. İkinci aşamadaki Mülakat Sınavı na girebilmek için birinci aşamadaki sınavdan en az 50 puan almak şarttır. Birinci aşamadaki sınavda Temel Öğrenme Becerileri Testi uygulanır. Ayrıca aynı oturumda adayların Türkçe seviyelerini ölçen Türkçe Testi yapılır. Buna göre 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi programlarının yurtdışı kontenjanlarını tercih etmek isteyen aday öğrenciler önce Marmara Üniversitesi (MÜ) tarafından yapılan Yurt Dışından Öğrenci Seçme Sınavı na (MÜYÖS 2014) başvurmalıdır. Bu sınav 10 Mayıs 2014 tarihinde yapılacaktır. Bu sınavda 50 ve üzeri puan alan bütün adaylar İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi Mülakat Sınavı na başvurabilir. 1.3. MÜYÖS 2014 sonuçları İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi bakımından sadece 2014-2015 eğitimöğretim yılı için geçerlidir. 1.4. Sınava başvurular 11 Mart - 11 Nisan 2014 tarihleri arasında internet üzerinden Marmara Üniversitesi ne yapılacaktır. 1.5. Gerek Marmara Üniversitesi gerekse İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi ile adaylar arasındaki haberleşmede, Latin harfleri ile Türkçe veya İngilizce kullanılır. 1.6. MÜYÖS 2014 sonuçları İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi nde lisans düzeyinde öğrenim görmek isteyen öğrenciler için kullanılacak olup transfer ve/veya lisansüstü öğrenim için dikkate alınmaz. 2. GENERAL INFORMATION, BASIC PRINCIPLES AND RULES 1.1. This guide contains the regulations and procedures which must be followed by the students who apply to study at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University for 2014 2015 academic year and will take Marmara University Entrance Examination (MÜYÖS 2014) and Oral Interview Examination that will be conducted by İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. 1.2. İstanbul 29 Mayıs University Entrance Examination for International Students 2014 (29 MAYIS-YÖS 2014) is divided in two stages: a) Marmara University Entrance Examination (MÜYÖS 2014), b) Oral Interview Examination that will be conducted by İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. In order to be able to take the exam in the second stage, the candidates have to take minimum 50 from the examination in the first stage. In this examination, Basic Learning Skills Test is applied. In the same session, the candidates are also given a test to assess their Turkish level. According to this, the candidates who 6 would like to prefer international student quotas of İstanbul 29 Mayıs University programs for 2014 2015 academic year have to apply for Marmara University (MÜ) Entrance Examination for International Students (MÜYÖS 2014) in the first place. This examination will be held on 10 May 2014. All of the candidates who score 50 or more in this exam can apply for İstanbul 29 Mayıs University Oral Interview Examination: the candidate does not have to declare this preference of his/hers during MÜYÖS 2014 application process. 1.3. With regard to İstanbul 29 Mayıs University, MÜYÖS 2014 results are valid only for 2014 2015 academic year. 1.4. Applications for the examination will be submitted via the internet to Marmara University between March 11- April 11, 2014. 1.5. Language used for communication between the students and Marmara University or İstanbul 29 Mayıs University is Turkish with Latin letters or English. 1.6. The results of MUYOS are applicable only for the students who wish to be enrolled in an undergraduate program at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University and MUYOS results cannot be used for transfers and/or graduate programs. 6 / 22

1.7. İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi Yurt Dışından Öğrenci Seçme Sınavı 2014 (29 MAYIS-YÖS 2014) sonuçlarına göre İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi programlarına yerleştirilen öğrencilere sağlanacak burs, yurt, genel sağlık sigortası (GSS) vb. imkânlar ile öğrenim ücretleri ve özel koşullar İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi Lisans Programlarının Yurtdışı Öğrenci Kontenjanları, Sağlanacak İmkânlar ve Özel Koşullar başlığını taşıyan Tablo 1 de açıklanmıştır. Ancak İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi, öğrencilerin geçim ve Türkiye de oturma izni gibi meseleleriyle ilgilenmez. 1.8. Adaylardan alınan başvuru ücretleri gelecek yıllara devredilmez. Ücretini yatırdığı halde başvurmaktan vazgeçen, başvurusu kurallara uymadığı için geçersiz sayılan, sınava girmeyen veya giremeyen, sınava alınmayan veya sınavdan çıkarılan, sınavda başarı sağlayamayan veya sınavı geçersiz sayılan ve ücret gerektirmeyen bir işlem için ücret yatıran adayların ücretleri geri verilmez. Başvuru ücretini yatırmayan adayın başvurusu kabul edilmez. 1.9. Bu kılavuzda yer alan kurallar, kılavuzun yayın tarihinden sonra yürürlüğe girebilecek yasama, yürütme ve yargı organları ile Yükseköğretim Kurulu, MÜ Üniversite Yönetim Kurulu ve MÜ Senatosu kararları gerekli kıldığı takdirde değiştirilebilir. Bu durumda izlenecek yol, MÜ tarafından saptanır. Bu kılavuzda belirtilmeyen durumlar için MÜ Senatosu tarafından verilen kararlara göre işlem yapılır. İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi ni ilgilendiren hususlarda ise İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi Senatosu ve Üniversite Yönetim Kurulu yetkilidir. 1.10. 29MAYIS-YÖS 2014kılavuzunun basımı ve dağıtımı yapılmayacaktır. 2. BAŞVURU KOŞULLARI 2.1. Aşağıda belirtilen adayların başvuruları kabul edilmez: a) T.C. uyruklu olanlar (ortaöğreniminin tamamını KKTC dışında yabancı bir ülkede tamamlayanlar hariç), b) KKTC uyruklu olanlar (ortaöğreniminin tamamını KKTC liselerinde bitirip GCE AL sonucuna sahip olanlar ile 2005-2010 tarihleri arasında diğer ülkelerdeki kolej ve liselere kayıt yaptırıp eğitim alarak GCE AL sınav sonuçlarına sahip olan veya sahip olacaklar hariç), 1.7. According to the results of İstanbul 29 Mayıs University Entrance Examination for International Students 2014 (29 MAYIS YÖS 2014), the opportunities such as scholarship, accommodation, general health insurance etc. and tuition and special conditions for the students who are placed to İstanbul 29 Mayıs University programs are explained in Table 1, under the heading İstanbul 29 Mayıs University Undergraduate Programs quotas for International Students and Provided Opportunities. However, İstanbul 29 Mayıs University do not deal with students subsistence and the issues concerning their residence permit. 1.8. The application fee may not be credited toward future examination dates. A person who pays the fee, but decides not to apply, or one whose application is considered invalid, or one who does not or cannot take the exam, or one who is not allowed to sit the exam or who is expelled from the exam hall, or who fails the exam, or whose exam paper is invalid for any reason, or who pays for any procedure that does not require payment cannot claim any right to a refund of the fees paid. Applications of those who have not paid the application fee will not be accepted. 1.9. Upon the publication of this Guide, MU reserves the right to make any such changes in the regulations of the examination that may be deemed necessary, following the rulings of executive, legislative, and/or 7 judicial bodies, and/or of the Higher Education Council (YOK), MU Executive Board or the MU Senate. Any such changes will be put into effect by MU. Furthermore, any contingency not specifically covered in this Guide will likewise be dealt with by MU Senate. Regarding the issues that concern İstanbul 29 Mayıs University, İstanbul 29 Mayıs University Senate and Administrative Body of the University are authorized. 1.10. 29MAYIS-YÖS 2014 Guide will not be published or distributed in paper form. 2.APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS 2.1. Applications for the following individuals will not be accepted. The applicants who; a) Has Turkish citizenship (except the ones who have completed their secondary education in a foreign country except KKTC), b) Has KKTC citizenship (except the ones who have completed their secondary education in KKTC having GCE AL examination results, and the ones who have/will have GCE AL examination results after registering and receiving education in a college or high school in other countries between 2005-2010), 7 / 22

c) Doğumla ilk uyruğu T.C olan çift uyruklular (ortaöğretiminin tamamını KKTC dışında yabancı bir ülkede tamamlayanlar ile ortaöğretiminin tamamını KKTC dışında yabancı bir ülkedeki Türk okullarında tamamlayanlar hariç), d) Uyruğundan birisi KKTC olan çift uyruklular (ortaöğretiminin tamamını KKTC liselerinde bitirip GCE AL sonucuna sahip olanlar ile 2005-2010 tarihleri arasında diğer ülkelerdeki kolej ve liselere kayıt yaptırıp eğitim alarak GCE AL sınav sonuçlarına sahip olan veya sahip olacaklar hariç), e) Türkiye'deki büyükelçilikler bünyesinde bulunan okullar ile Türkiye'de bulunan yabancı liselerde öğrenimlerini gören T.C. uyruklular, f) Türkiye'deki bir Yükseköğretim kurumundan disiplin suçu nedeniyle çıkarma cezası alanlarla, önceki yıllarda katıldıkları ÖSYM veya MÜ tarafından yapılan sınavlarda sahtekarlık yaptıkları saptananlar, g) Fikir ve eylemleri ile T.C. aleyhine faaliyette bulunmuş veya T.C. vatandaşlığından bir yaptırım olarak çıkarılmış bulunan kişiler. Bu adaylar sınava girseler dahi aldıkları puanlar kendilerine bir hak sağlamayacaktır. 2.2. Ortaöğrenimlerinin son sınıfında olmaları ya da mezun durumunda bulunmaları koşuluyla; 1) Tam burslu kontenjanlara 01.01.1992 tarihi ve sonrasında doğmuş olan Afganistan, Arnavutluk, Azerbaycan, Bosna-Hersek, Bulgaristan, Gürcistan, Kazakistan, Kırgızistan, Kırım (Ukrayna), Kosova, Makedonya, Özbekistan, Romanya, Tacikistan, Tataristan (Rusya), Türkmenistan, Yunanistan vatandaşı adaylar başvurabilir. 2) %50 burslu kontenjanlara ise, aşağıda belirtilen adaylar başvurabilir: a) Yabancı uyruklu olanlar, b) Doğumla Türk vatandaşı olup da İçişleri Bakanlığı'ndan Türk vatandaşlığından çıkma izni alanlar ve bunların Türk vatandaşlığından çıkma belgesinde kayıtlı reşit olmayan çocuklarının 5901 sayılı Türk Vatandaşlığı Kanunu Uyarınca Tanınan Hakların Kullanılmasına İlişkin Belge sahibi olduklarını belgeleyenler (5901 sayılı Türk Vatandaşlığı Kanununun 7. Maddesinde "(1) Türkiye içinde veya dışında Türk vatandaşı ana veya babadan evlilik birliği içinde doğan çocuk Türk vatandaşıdır." hükmü bulunmakta olup, yurt dışından kabul kontenjanlarına başvuracak adayların Türk Vatandaşlığı Kanunu incelemelerinde yarar bulunmaktadır.), c) Has dual citizenship with a birthright Turkish citizenship (except the ones who have completed his/her secondary education in a foreign country - including Turkish Schools in that country- except KKTC), d) Has dual citizenship, one of which is KKTC citizenship (except the ones who completed his/her secondary education in KKTC having GCE AL examination results and the ones who have/will have GCE AL examination results after registering and receiving education in a college or high school in other countries between 2005-2010), e) Has Turkish citizenship and has attended foreign high schools or foreign embassy schools in Turkey, f) Has been dismissed from a higher educational institution in Turkey due to a disciplinary action or identified as cheater in an examination accomplished by OSYM or MU in previous years, g) Has acted physically or ideologically against T.R. or lost his/her Turkish citizenship as a punishment. Even if these individuals take the examination, the scores they obtain will be invalid. 2.2. All applications will be accepted 8 and evaluated on condition that the applicant is either in the final year of his/her secondary education or has completed it; 1) For the full scholarship quotas the candidates who were born on 01.01.1992 or after this date and the ones who are the citizens (Afghanistan, Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Crimea (Ukraine), Kosovo, Macedonia, Uzbekistan, Romania, Tadjikistan, Tatarstan (Russia), Turkmenistan, Greece can apply. 2) Following individuals can apply for 50 % scholarship quotas: a) Foreign students, b) Became Turkish citizen by birth and who expatriate him/herself from Turkish citizenship with the permission of Ministry of Internal Affairs and their underage children registered on these people's citizenship expatriation document, providing evidence of ownership of the document for the usage of the rights given by the law with number 5901, 8 / 22

c) Yabancı uyruklu iken sonradan kazanılan vatandaşlık ile T.C. vatandaşlığına geçenler / bu durumdaki çift uyruklular, d) T.C. uyruklu olup ortaöğretiminin tamamını KKTC hariç yabancı bir ülkede tamamlayanlar (ortaöğretiminin tamamını KKTC dışında yabancı bir ülkedeki Türk okullarında tamamlayanlar dahil), e) KKTC uyruklu olup, KKTC'de ikamet eden ve KKTC'de ortaöğrenimini tamamlayan GCE AL sınav sonuçlarına sahip olanlar ile 2005-2010 tarihleri arasında diğer ülkelerdeki kolej ve liselere kayıt yaptırıp eğitim alarak GCE AL sınav sonuçlarına sahip olan veya sahip olacaklar. c) has a birthright foreign citizenship but has later acquired Turkish citizenship, d) Has Turkish citizenship and completed his/her secondary education in a foreign country except KKTC (including Turkish Schools in a foreign country except KKTC), e) Is a KKTC citizen living in KKTC and completed his/her secondary education in KKTC having GCE AL examination results, or has/will have GCE AL examination results after registering and receiving education in a college or high school in other countries between 2005-2010 3. BAŞVURU İŞLEMLERİ 3.1. Yurt içinden ve yurt dışından sınava başvurular Başvuru Sistemi (http://basvuru.marmara.edu.tr/) üzerinden yapılacaktır. Başvuru süresi dışında başvurular kabul edilmeyecektir. Kullanıcı kaydı oluşturulması ve Kullanıcı Adı Edinilmesi 3.2. Adaylar başvuru süresi içinde Başvuru Sistemi üzerinden yeni kullanıcı kaydı oluşturarak Kullanıcı Adı ve şifre edinmelidirler. 3.3. Yeni kayıt oluşturulması sırasında girilen bilgilerdeki yanlışlıklardan doğacak sonuçların bütün sorumluluğu adaylara aittir. Kimlik ile ilgili bilgi alanlarına adayın pasaportundaki kimlik bilgileri değiştirilmeden, kısaltma yapılmadan girilmelidir. 3.4.Sistemde ilgili alana adayın elektronik ortama aktarılmış vesikalık fotoğrafı eklenmelidir. Bu fotoğraf sınav giriş belgesi, sınav sonuç belgesi, kayıtta ve öğrenci kimlik belgesi üzerinde yer alacağından, adayın kolaylıkla tanınmasını sağlayacak şekilde son üç ay içinde çekilmiş olmalıdır. 3.5.Yeni kayıt işlemini tamamlayan adaya sistem tarafından Kullanıcı Adı e-posta yoluyla gönderilir. Aday e-postadaki aktivasyon linkini kullanarak kullanıcı hesabını aktifleştirmelidir. 3. APPLICATION PROCEDURES 3.1. All the applications to the examination should be done through Application System, http://basvuru.marmara.edu.tr/. Applications are accepted only within the application period. Creating a new user account and having a username 3.2. All applicants should carefully fill in the Application Form online and obtain 9 their Applicant ID online from the MU website within the application period. 3.3. Applicants are fully responsible for any negative results that occur due to the errors made while creating their user account. Identification information fields should be filled in with the information on the applicant s passport without any changes. 3.4. Applicants should also upload their passport style photograph electronically. Since this photograph will be used on the Exam Entrance Card, on the Examination Result Card, as well as for registration and on the Student Identity Card, it must be taken within last three months by the application date, and must be easily recognizable. 3.5. Those applicants who have successfully completed the registration process will be sent an activation e-mail including their username. Applicants should activate their account using the activation link in the e-mail. 9 / 22

3.6.Adayın Kullanıcı Adı ve şifre bilgileri hem bu sınavın bütün aşamalarında hem de adayın MÜ ile elektronik ortamda yapacağı bütün işlemlerde gerekli olacağından, aday tarafından özenle saklanmalıdır. Başvurusu onaylanan ve sınava girmeye hak kazanan adaylar sınava girecekleri sınav salonları 02 Mayıs 2014 tarihinden itibaren Başvuru Sistemi üzerindenöğrenebilirler. Bu tarihten itibaren adayların Başvuru Sistemi üzerinden Sınava Giriş Belgesi çıktısı almaları gerekmektedir. Any mistakes should be corrected immediately. 3.11. Applicants who have paid their application fee should apply for MUYOS through the Application System. An applicant whose application is not approved will be informed by e-mail. It is important to check the inbox during the application process. 3.13. Applicants whose applications are approved can learn their exam halls from the Application System as from 02 May 2014. 4. SINAV 4.1. MÜYÖS 2014 10 Mayıs 2014 Cumartesi günü saat 10.00'da yapılacaktır. 4.2. Sınava girerken adayların pasaportlarını, Sınav Giriş Belgesini ve başvuru ücretini yatırdıklarına dair banka dekontunu yanlarında bulundurmaları zorunludur. 4.3. Adayların, sınava gelirken yanlarında, yumuşak uçlu kurşun kalem(ler), silgi, kalem açacağı ve kol saati dışında hiçbir alet, cihaz, araç veya gereç bulundurmamaları gerekir. Adaylar, cep telefonu ile sınav binasına alınmayacaklarından sınava cep telefonu ile gelmemeleri önemle rica olunur. 4.4. Adaylar, sınav günü, saat 09.30'dan itibaren kimlik kontrolleri yapılarak sınav salonuna alınacaklardır. Sınav saat 10.00'da başlayacak ve tek oturum şeklinde tamamlanacaktır. Adayların en az bir saat önce sınavın yapılacağı bina önünde bulunmaları, sınav salonlarına zamanında alınabilmeleri açısından son derece önemlidir. 4.5. MÜYÖS 2014'te Temel Öğrenme Becerileri Testindeki sorular Türkçe, İngilizce, Arapça ve Rusça da hazırlanıp uygulanacaktır. Bu 80 soruluk bir test olup, Genel Yetenek (45 soru), Matematik (30 soru) ve Geometri (5 soru) sorularından oluşmaktadır. Bu testte Fizik, Kimya, Biyoloji, Tarih, Coğrafya alanlarıyla ilgili soru bulunmayacaktır. Diğer test toplam 60 sorudan oluşan Türkçe testidir. Bu testin amacı, adayların Türkçe düzeylerini ölçmek ve belirlemektir. 4. THE EXAMINATION 4.1. The 2014 - MUYOS examination will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 (Saturday) at 10:00 a.m. 4.2. Applicants should bring their passports, Exam Entrance Cards and bank receipts showing their payment for the exam to the examination hall. 4.3. Applicants must not bring any devices or equipments to the exam hall except soft lead pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener and wristwatch. They must not bring cellular phones into the examination hall. 4.4. Following identification check starting at 9.30 a.m., applicants will be admitted to the examination halls. The exam will start at 10.00 a.m. and will be held in 1 session. Applicants should be ready in front of the building of their exam hall, at least 1 hour before the exam starts. 4.5. MUYOS consists of two parts. The first is the "Basic Learning Skills Test," which will be prepared and given in four languages including Turkish, English, Arabic and Russian. This test will be an 80- question test including 45 abstract reasoning ability questions, 30 mathematics questions and 5 geometry 12 questions. This test does not consist of questions from the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, history or geography. The second part is the "Turkish Language Proficiency Test," a sixty-question test, which assesses the applicant's comprehension of written Turkish. 4.6. MÜYÖS 2014'te uygulanacak iki teste ait sorular, sınav sırasında iki ayrı kitapçık halinde adaylara verilecektir. 4.7. Soru Kitapçığındaki bütün sorular "çoktan seçmeli" tipte sorulardır. Her soru için beş farklı seçenek verilmiş olup bunlardan yalnızca biri sorunun doğru cevabıdır. Cevap Kağıdında, bir soru için birden fazla seçenek işaretlenmişse veya bir seçenek için ayrılan yer gelişigüzel işaretlenmişse o soru için verilen cevap yanlış sayılacaktır. 4.8. Cevapların "Cevap Kağıdına" işaretlenmiş olması gerekir. Soru Kitapçığına işaretlenen cevaplar geçersiz sayılacaktır. 4.9. Sınav süresince adayların konuşmaları, kopya çekmeleri ve kopya vermeleri sınav kurallarına aykırıdır. Böyle davrandığı herhangi bir yolla saptanan adayların sınavları geçersiz sayılacaktır. 4.10. Sınav sonunda her aday, kullandığı soru kitapçığını ve cevap kağıdını salon görevlilerine kurallara uygun olarak teslim edecektir. Sınav kurallarına uymadıkları veya sınav sonunda gerekli belgeleri teslim etmedikleri için sınavları geçersiz sayılan adayların cevap kağıdı değerlendirmeye alınmayacak ve bu adaylar için Sınav Sonuç Belgesi düzenlenmeyecektir. 12 / 22 4.6. Each part of MUYOS will be applied in different booklets. 4.7. All of the questions in the booklets are multiplechoice, and the applicant is required to select the only right answer from among five alternatives. The applicant should mark the answer sheet carefully, filling in the alternative of his/her choice. Answers will be counted as incorrect if more than one choice is marked or if the applicant's marks overflow the given space for the answer. 4.8. Answers marked on anywhere other than the given answer sheet will not be considered valid. Answers written on the booklet will be invalid. 4.9. It is against the rules for applicants to talk, cheat or assist others during the examination. Applicants found disobeying the rules will be disqualified. 4.10. At the end of the examination, applicants will hand in, as instructed, the question booklet with the answer sheet to the person in charge of the examination hall. The answer sheets of applicants whose examination results have been declared invalid because they have broken the rules of the examination or have not returned the necessary documents at the end of the examination will not be evaluated and an Examination Result Card will not be issued.

5. SINAV SONUÇLARININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ 5.1. Adayların, MÜYÖS 2014'te uygulanacak iki testin her birindeki sorulara verdikleri doğru ve yanlış cevapları ayrı ayrı sayılacaktır. Her test için ayrı ayrı olmak üzere, doğru cevap sayısından yanlış cevap sayısının dörtte biri çıkarılarak (yani dört yanlış bir doğruyu götürecektir) ham puanlar bulunur. 5.2. MÜYÖS 2014Temel Öğrenme Becerileri Testi 100 puan üzerinden değerlendirilir. 5.3. Ham puanlar ortalaması 50, standart sapması 10 olan standart puanlara dönüştürülür. 6. SINAV SONUÇLARININ DUYURULMASI 6.1. Sınav sonuçları Başvuru Sistemi, http://basvuru.marmara.edu.tr/, üzerinden ilan edilecektir. 6.2. Adaylar, Aday Numarası ve şifre ile sınav sonuçlarını öğrenebileceklerdir. 6.3. Sınava giren ve sınavı geçerli sayılan her aday adına Sınav Sonuç Belgesi düzenlenecektir. Adaylar bu belgeyi Marmara Üniversitesi Yurtdışından Öğrenci Ofisinden şahsen alacaklardır. 5. EVALUATION OF THE EXAMINATION RESULTS 5.1. The totals of correct and incorrect answers in each of these MUYOS tests will be counted separately. The raw score of each test is obtained by subtracting 1/4 of the number of incorrect answers from the number of correct answers. 5.2. MUYOS Basic Learning Skills Test is scored on a scale of 0-100. 5.3. The raw scores are converted to standard scores with a mean of 50 and standard deviation of 10. 6. ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE EXAMINATION RESULTS 6.1 Examination results will only be published on http://basvuru.marmara.edu.tr/. 6.2 Applicants will learn their examination results by using their Applicant ID and password. 6.3 Examination Result Cards will be issued for applicants who have taken MUYOS provided that their exam is valid. Any applicant who wants to receive an Examination Result Card can get 13 his/her card from the "Students from Abroad Office" personally. 7. Additionally, free accommodation and Support Grant depend on the condition that the student s average score of the previous track in the preparatory class has to be minimum 70 out of 100 and the student s average score of the previous term in the undergraduate programs has to be minimum 2.00 out of 4.00. S.C.4. The students who are 18 placed to 50 % scholarship quotas of our university can benefit from 50 % discount in accommodation on condition that he / she meets the dormitory requirements. S.C.5. If a student with full scholarship is placed to a program whose language of instruction is English; he/she is given proficiency test. If the student fails in the test, he/she studies in a one-year compulsory English Preparatory class free of charge. If the student has to repeat English Preparatory class, he/she pays the same fee paid by a student with 50 % scholarship. S.C.6. If a student with 50% scholarship is placed to a program whose language of instruction is English, he/she is given proficiency test. If the student fails in the test, he/she pays the fee stated in the table and studies in a oneyear compulsory English Preparatory class free of charge. If the student has to repeat English Preparatory class, he/she pays the same fee. S.C.7. If a student with full scholarship is placed to a program whose language of instruction is at least 30 % English, he/she is given Turkish proficiency test. If the student fails in the test, he / she studies in a one-year compulsory Turkish Preparatory class. If he/she has to repeat Turkish Preparatory class, he/she pays the same fee paid by a student with 50 % scholarship. Then, if the student fails in the English Proficiency test, he/she studies in a one-year compulsory English Preparatory class free of charge. 8. TERCİH İŞLEMLERİ 8.1. MÜYÖS 2014 Temel Öğrenme Becerileri Testinden en az 50 puan alan aday Mülakat Sınavı na girmek üzere tercih yapabilir. 8.2. Adaylar tercihlerini MÜYÖS sistemi içinde yapacaklardır. 8.3. Adaylar Tablo 1'de yer alan programlardan en fazla 10 tercihte bulunabilirler. 8. PREFERENCE PROCEDURES 8.1. The applicant who scores 50 from MÜYOS 2014 Basic Learning Skills Test can make preference to enter Oral Interview Examination. 8.2. The applicants will make their preferences within MÜYÖS system. 8.3. The applicants can make maximum 10 preferences from the programs in Table 1. 9. Mülakat sınavına alınan öğrencilerin 2014 MÜYÖS Sınavında aldıkları puanın % 40 ı ile mülakat sınavında aldıkları puanın % 60 ı toplanarak başarı puanı belirlenir. Adaylar başarı puanı ve tercih sıralamalarına göre bir programa yerleştirilir. Mülakat sınavından 100 üzerinden 50 puanın altında alanlar başarısız sayılır ve yerleştirmeye alınmaz. 10.2. İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi, kontenjanları doldurup doldurmamakta serbesttir. 10.3. Başvuru koşullarını sağlamış olmak yerleştirme için kabul edilmeyi gerektirmez. 10. PLACEMENT PROCEDURES 20 10.1. The success rate of the students who are taken to oral interview exam is determined by summing up 40% of their score obtained from 2014 MÜYÖS exam and 60% of their score obtained from oral interview exam. The applicants are placed to a program according to their success rate and preferences. The applicants who get below 50 out of 100 in the oral interview exam are considered fail and they are not placed to a program. 10.2. İstanbul 29 Mayıs University do not have to fill all the quotas. 10.3. Meeting the application conditions does not require to be accepted for the placement. 11. YERLEŞTİRME SONUÇLARI 11.1. Yerleştirme sonuçları ve yedek aday listesi sadece İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi web sitesinde (www.29mayis.edu.tr) ilan edilir. 11.2. Söz konusu ilanda kayıt tarihleri belirtilir. 11.
