Kayseri Tarihi One of the first known residences of Kayseri is Kültepe which was founded in Early Bronze Age. (Kaniş/Karum) Kültepe was founded by Hattis who were the local people of Anatolia before Hitits. During the excavations going on since 1948, more than 20,000 inscriptions with wedge writing were found in Karum (marketplace) founded by Assyrian traders.
Kayseri Tarihi These texts include commercial relations, agreements and letters. Kültepe was a residence from B.C 4000 till the end of the Roman era. Kayseri was ruled by Ottomans after 1515. With the foundation of Turkish Republic, kayseri became a city after the acceptance of 1924 constitution.
Kayseri Coğrafyası Kayseri is situated in the Middle Kızılırmak Region of Central Anatolia. Neighbouring cities are Sivas, Yozgat, Nevşehir, Niğde, Adana and Kahramanmaraş.
