4 Haziran 2007 High-Performance PLC from Baumüller Extended functions and increased memory capacities Nuremberg. Baumüller has expanded its existing Controller PLC platform with the addition of the High- Performance PLC. The significantly improved performance is down to increased computing power and increased memory capacity. This new performance class can reach a cycle time of 25 μsec per 1,000 lines of STL. Baumüller has expanded its modular control system for PLC and motion control tasks with the introduction of the High-Performance PLC, which is characterized by its compact design and forms part of the Controller PLC series. I/O modules can be directly connected to Controller PLCs without the need for additional bus couplers. The High-Performance PLC's control concept can be fully integrated into all Baumüller control platforms and its software is 100% compatible. The Controller PLC series features PLCs with up to five different fieldbus module interfaces. For example, these could be EtherCAT master/slave or CANopen master/slave interfaces, or an Ethernet interface that is open to the traditional IT environment, e.g., OPC server communication. The 32-bit RISC CPU has a performance capability of 667 MHz. A 64 MB Flash memory is available for the runtime system, IEC program and cams. Even the standard Controller PLC is able to achieve cycle times of 100 μsec per 1,000 lines of STL. The High-Performance PLC, however, boasts 25 μsec per 1,000 lines of STL. The ProMaster Engineering Framework is used to configure the PLC system, the network components or individual machine units. Irrespective of the hardware platform that has been selected, the user can create the entire machine application intuitively using ProMaster. The communication topology is created, cams are generated and edited and the I/O configuration is assembled in ProMaster. AMG 71 absolute encoder The AMG 71 is a programmable absolute encoder that has been designed for applications in machinery and plant with demanding specifications for robustness that cannot be fulfilled by the usual absolute encoders equipped with gearbox or battery. The range now enables even more precise adaptation of the control system to the task in hand. The CX1030 is equipped with a 1.8 GHz Intel Pentium M and is now the most powerful device in the Beckhoff Embedded PC range. The combination of CX1030, EtherCAT and TwinCAT enables very fast control processes in the submillisecond range (extreme Fast Control Technology). The existing devices are complemented by the new CX9010, CX1010 and CX1030 models that offer higher-performance CPUs with maximum hardware and software compatibility with the earlier models. The CX1030 extends the CX series with a high performance 1.8 GHz Intel Pentium M CPU. The CPU is cooled via the passive cooling module and an easily exchangeable fan cartridge located on the underside of the housing. The Ex magnetic safety sensors in the EEx RC Si M30 series encased in a cylindrical 30 mm enclosure are magnetic switchgear units specifically developed by steute for areas with potentially explosive atmospheres and for safety-relevant applications. This switchgear has a coded actuation magnet which acts as a coded sensor and therefore opens up broad application fields. It is a development in response to the decision by many mechanical and plant engineers to replace conventional electrical/mechanical safety switchgear with noncontact safety sensors. At the Hanover fair, Elan, a subsidiary of the Schmersal group, will present a new generation of safety controllers that is developed specifically to meet the requirements set by modern manufacturing systems and complex individual machines. PROTECT PSC - as the new system is called- is based on a modular system and accordingly offers the user a great variety of possibilities for combining various input and output assemblies. The user can therefore ensure that he doesn't use any oversized controller. Instead, he has a safety controller that suits the respective requirements exactly. Where necessary, additional input and output modules can be retrofitted and integrated into the total system with very little effort or expense. The new safety controller can work with two modes of operation. The hardwired version does not need any programming; the system functions are determined by the arrangement or sequence of the individual modules at the master or sub-master-module. Various system modules are available, e.g. for volt-free input signals, semiconductor input signals and modules with semiconductor and relay outputs. This means that the PROTECT PSC can evaluate the signals from all standard safety switchgear construction types, such as electromechanical switchgear, safety sensors and optoelectronic protective devices. Haziran 2007 19 The Latest Generation of Bonfiglioli Parallel Shaft and Bevel Helical Gearboxes Radyo ve Televizyonlar n Takibi Pardus'a Emanet The development programme for new heavy duty gearboxes that BONFIGLI- OLI launched in 2005 when it released the HDP parallel shaft series in sizes 60 to 90 is receiving yet another boost today with the presentation of 5 new sizes in the HDP parallel shaft series and HDO bevel helical series. This expansion of the HDP and HDO series will permit Bonfiglioli to fulfil the needs of industrial applications demanding torque ratings of up to 75,000 Nm, an impressively high figure but, nevertheless, one that is commonly required in the mining, paper, wood and steel manufacturing industries, and many other processing industries. Pardus 2007: Linux ailesinin önemli bir üyesi; Pardus, 2003 y l sonlar nda bafllat lan proje kapsam nda TÜB TAK UEKAE (Ulusal Elektronik ve Kriptoloji Araflt rma Enstitüsü) bünyesinde gelifltiriliyor. 14 kiflilik deneyimli ve yetkin bir çekirdek ekip eliyle gelifltirilen Pardus, dünyan n dört bir yan ndan destek veren 8'i yabanc 40 kadar gönüllü gelifltiricinin ve yüzlerce katk c n n deste iyle büyüyor. Pardus, bugün 50.000'i aflan bilgisayar say s yla, Türkiye'nin en büyük Linux toplulu una sahip. Pardus tek bir CD üzerinde geliyor, ortalama 25-30 dk. içerisinde bilgisayar n - za kuruluyor ve bir masaüstü kullan c s - n n gereksinim duyaca her türlü yaz l - m da içeriyor.
