Ne çok şey değişti değil mi? Size söylüyorum. Annenizden meme istediniz daha sonra büyüyüp koca adam oldunuz mesela. Sahip olduğunuz her şey yarın bambaşka bir halde olabilir. Sakın kötümser olmayın, her şey sizin istediğiniz gibi olacak. 21. sayımızda derinlemesine ele aldığımız temamız değer kavramının, bu sayıdaki temamız değişim ile güçlü bağları var. Zamanı düşünün. Nicelik olarak devamlı bir devinim içerisindedir. Bu durum bizi de dönüştürür. Bugün belli bir değer taşıyan herhangi bir şey, yarın başka bir değer taşıyor olabilir. İşte değişen bu zaten. Bizim bunu fark etmemiz. Diğer bir deyişle hep sitem ettiğimiz kaybolup giden yıllar değildir, yılların bizde yarattığı değişimleri anlamamızdır: Çocukluk arkadaşınız çok değişmiştir veya yüzünüz birazcık kırışmıştır. Siz lisedeyken buralar hep bademlikti örneğin. Doğum ve ölüm arasında değişen bir şey yok mu? İhtiyacınız olduğu anda size sırtını çeviren dostunuz artık tanıdığınız kişi değildir. Open up your diaries; photo albums; you will see all that has changed even more clearly. I believe that wanting to change something is associated with wanting to change one s own self. This is the oldest and the most inevitable desire in life. We want 2

The desire we feel for everything to be after our own heart. But, what about the things that we don t want to change? What if someone wants to change them? Let me try to define an expression we hear so often: Change and transformation itself, the value of which has not changed from all eternity I think that another name for change is human. The golden key for this is effort. Did you see anyone with a healthy and athletic body without working out? Those who await grace are bound to see effort as well. All of us expect changes for our lives in this coming year. For the wind to change its course. For it to blow in our way. Variety will bring forth change in our lives anyway. Your environment, your life, your emotions, your body; almost everything around you will change, do not worry. Do not behave as if you are a mutant. You select the options, do not let others or other things do so. It is possible to open the tap as well as to close it. Turn your head towards whatever you wish to change in your life; make your own countdown instead of acting slowly like a rock undergoing metamorphosis and change yourself in order to get what you want. 20 tek karede bursa one shot in bursa Balkanlar dan gelen kardeşlik rüzgârı The wind of brotherhood coming from the Balkans Şehreküstü Meydanı nda, en soğuk günlerde bile sıcacık bir kardeşlik havası karşılar gelip geçenleri 2008 yılında yapılan ve meydanın dört mevsimine güzellik katan Sarayova Kardeşlik Çeşmesi, açılışının yapıldığı ilk günden bu yana Bosna ve Bursa arasındaki kardeşliğin sembolü kabul edildi. Fatih Sultan Mehmed in Bosna yı fethinden sonra yapılan 30 çeşmeden biri olan ve yıllar boyunca her türlü felakete rağmen ayakta kalarak günümüze ulaşabilen çeşme bugün, nüfusunun yaklaşık yüzde 60 ı Balkan göçmenlerinden oluşan Bursa nın da simgelerinden biri haline geldi. It is among the 30 fountains that have been built following the conquest of Bosnia by Fatih Sultan Mehmed and by standing intact until today has become one of the symbols of Bursa with a population of Balkan immigrants that make up almost 60 percent of the entire population of the city. 18

26 bursa dokusu bursa motifs Gençleşen bir eski dost A friend who keeps on getting younger Ünlü yazar Ernest Hemingway in Batılıların barış dilenmeye geldikleri kıyı kasabası olarak adlandırdığı Mudanya, geçtiğimiz aylarda önemli bir değişime şahitlik etti. Barışı ve Milli Mücadele nin sonunu simgeleyen Mudanya Mütareke Evi Müzesi yenilendi. Bina geçen zamanın yorgunluğunu üzerinden attığı uzun bir aradan sonra ziyaretçilerini tarihin en önemli dönemlerinden birine götürmeye devam ediyor. Mudania, defined by the famous author Ernest Hemingway as, the coast town where the occidentals came to beg for peace witnessed an important change in recent months. The Mudania Armistice House Museum symbolizing peace and the end of the War of Independence has been renovated. The house continues to take its visitors back to one of the most important periods of history after a long hiatus during which it shook of the wear and tear of time. 28 bursa dokusu bursa motifs Tarih 11 Ekim 1922 Bir hafta boyunca süren konuşmaların, zaman zaman tansiyonun yükseldiği, sinirlerin gerildiği tartışmaların ardından kazanılan büyük zafer, görüşmelerin yapıldığı evi barışın simgesi haline getirdi. Tarihin belki en yorgun şahitlerinden biri olan Mudanya Mütareke Evi Müzesi ise yıllar boyunca o günleri yaşatma ve gelecek nesillere aktarma görevini üstlendi. Ama son zamanlarda iyice yaşlanmış ve yorgun düşmüştü. Geçen yıl başlayan restorasyon çalışmalarının ardından, geçtiğimiz aylarda yeniden hayata dönen müze, bugün anılarını paylaşmaya devam ediyor. Hem de daha bakımlı ve yenilenmiş olarak Mudanya nın görülmeye değer güzellikleri arasında The date is October 11, 1922 The significant victory that came after discussions that lasted for over a week during which the tension sometimes went up and arguments arose ended up by the house becoming a symbol of peace. İki büyük salonu ve 13 odası bulunan müzeden içeri adım attığınız anda tarihini keşfetmeye, sizinle paylaşmak için yıllarca özenle sakladığı anıları içinize çekmeye başlıyorsunuz. 19. yüzyılın mimari özelliklerine sahip iki katlı ahşap yapının ilk katında, sert geçen mütareke görüşmeleri sırasında çekildiği ve Gerekirse savaşırız! diyerek yumruklamasıyla kırılan mermer masanın bulunduğu odasında İsmet Paşa karşılıyor sizi Bu döneme ait fotoğraflara, belgelere bakarak o yıllara gidiyor, görüşmelere dâhil oluveriyorsunuz. İsmet Paşa ile birlikte sinirleniyor, barış için sabırsızlanıyorsunuz. Bu odanın hemen yanında, görüşmeleri dinlemek için görevlendirilenlerin kullandığı dinleyici odasında buluyorsunuz kendinizi. 3 Ekim 1922 tarihinde başlayan görüşmeler boyunca geçen zamanın izini etrafta gördüğünüz halls and 13 rooms, the building draws you in with its immense history the moment you step inside. Ismet Pasha greets you at the first floor of the wooden two storied structure with 19th century architecture where the marble desk that was broken by him after he punched the table and shouted, We ll fight if need be! You are taken back in time to those years and feel as if you are participating in the discussions when examining the photos and documents from that time. You get angry together with Ismet Pasha and get anxious for peace. Right next to this room, you find yourself in another room used by listeners who were responsible for listening to the discussions. You can trace the time that passed during the discussions that started on October 3, 1922 from the articles, documents and photographs around you. You see the waxwork statues of Ismet Pasha as well as General Harrington representing the English, General Charphy representing the French and General Mombelli representing the Italian in the room where peace talks had taken place with the Allied Powers which had understood that they would not be able to cope with the Turks. You can even forget that these are only waxwork statues and find yourself right in the midst of these discussions as you are more and more drawn in by history. Only the representatives of the Greeks are missing from 28

Türklerle savaşarak baş edemeyeceklerini anlayan İtilaf Devletleri nin talebine karşılık, barış sağlamak amacıyla başlayan görüşmelerin yapıldığı odada İsmet Paşa dışında, İngilizleri temsilen General Harrington, Fransa adına General Charphy, İtalya adına General Mombelli nin balmumu heykellerini görüyorsunuz. Tarih sizi içine çektikçe onların sadece birer heykel olduğunu aklınızdan çıkarmanız ve kendinizi görüşmelerin tam ortasında bulmanız mümkün. Türklerin lehine, 14 maddelik bir anlaşmayla sonuçlanan görüşmelerde tek eksik ise görüşmeler sırasında Mudanya açıklarında bir gemide heyecanla sonuçları bekleyen Yunanistan temsilcileri... Yunan the room where an agreement with 14 items was signed in countenance of the Turks since they were eagerly awaiting the result in a ship anchored around the coast of Mudania Even though the Greek representatives General Mozarakis and Lieutenant Sariyenis were directly related with these discussions, they did not participate because they strongly refused to give over Eastern Thrace and the fact that they wanted land and not peace. However, the attitude of Ismet Pasha was clear and they would either sign the agreement presented to them or face fighting a war. The treaty went into effect 3 days after the signing and thus an immense political success was attained by taking Thrace back without spilling a drop of blood. The treaty signed by all representatives but the Greeks ended all possible armed conflicts, thus leaving a permanent trace of peace in world history at 06:00 a.m. in the 30

Mudanyalı bir Türk olmaktan gurur duyduğunu dile getiren Hayri İpar ın bu binayı satın alarak müze haline getirilmesi için yaptıklarının altında da bu bilinç yatıyordu. Etrafındaki yıkık dökük yapıları satın alıp yıktıran İpar, evde daha önce bulunup zamanla kaybolmuş ya da satılmış eşyaların peşine düşerek en azından bir kısmını geri aldı ve gerçek sahibine geri vermeyi başardı. Unutulmaması gereken bir geçmişin en büyük hatırası olan evi ortaya çıkartıp Mudanya Belediyesi ne devrederek, müzenin bugünkü haline gelmesinin temellerini atmış oldu yılında Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Kalkınma Ajansı nın (BEBKA) da desteğini alarak Bursa İl Kültür ve Turizm Müdürlüğü ile Mudanya Lozan Mübadilleri Derneği nin katkılarıyla hazırlanan Mudanya Mütareke Evi nde Tarih Sesini Duyuruyor isimli tanıtım ve geliştirme amaçlı projeye dâhil edilen ve yıllar geçtikçe yaşlanan binanın zamana yenilmesine izin verilmedi. Bina, Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyesi nin geçtiğimiz yıl Nisan ayında başlattığı restorasyon çalışmalarıyla onarıldı ve yenilendi. Her köşesinde özenle barındırdığı anıların tozları alındı, yaraları iyileştirildi, hafızası tazelendi ve 10 Ekim 2014 tarihinde kapıları yeniden açıldı. Her insan az çok merak eder tarihi Belgeseller izler, kitaplar okur, müzeler gezer veya bulabilirse canlı tanıklardan dinler geçmişi Mudanya Mütareke Evi Müzesi de geçmişi anlatmaya kaldığı yerden devam etmek için hazır Bütün enerjisi ve heyecanıyla ziyaretçilerini bekliyor. Artık adı bile anılmayan bir mesleğin, Buzcular ın vefalı emaneti o Aynı zamanda Bursaspor un kurucu üyeleri arasında hayatta kalan tek kişi olan İsmail Buzcular, adını mesleğinden alan ve 21 kuşaktır devam eden ailesinden geriye kalanları kitap haline getirerek Bursa belgeliğine kazandırdı. Osmanlı Devleti nin kuruluş yıllarına dayanan bir hikâyeyi bilmekle yetinmeyip geçmişine dört elle sarılarak, onu kendinden sonraki nesillere aktarmayı amaçladı. Buzcular ailesinin halka hizmet etmeye adanmış hayatları zamana yenilmesin, Uludağ ın bu manevi hissedarlarını herkes tanısın; bugün tamamen yok olan ama döneminin gözdesi olan bir mesleği herkes bilsin diye Yüzlerce yıl önce, bugünkü son teknolojinin ürünleri, beyazdan türlü türlü renge terfi eden elektronik eşyaların, derin dondurucuların icadı hayal bile değilken buz ihtiyacının tek çaresi keşişlerin dağı Uludağ dı.
