4 İPYD Since 1980, the Istanbul Project Management Association has gained importance in having the knowledge and in its terminology development efforts for Project Management approaches that have arisen across different production areas, project, organizational and sectoral levels, and which has reached a professional identity that is parallel to the generally accepted approaches being developed across the world. The İstanbul Project Management Association ( completed its legal establishment on 18 March 1997 with the efforts of 27 founders. Currently, the association has more than 480 members in various sectors such as Construction and Contracting, Telecom, IT and Finance. Our association works with the Project Management Institute (PMI, and provides information about the world of international project management to our members. Our Mission To contribute to the efficient use of labor and limited resources in our country through the effective use of project management. Our Vision To be the leading NGO in Turkey and Eurasia to spread the modern principles, methods and tools of project management and to be a reference point and shared platform for project management. Our Purpose To ensure the acceptance of project management as a profession across all disciplines, to develop and spread the theory and application of project management, to encourage professionalism and quality in project management, to ensure development and protection of ethical rules, vocational standards and accreditation conditions for project management. Our association carries out its work with the planning and realization of its interest groups and work groups. Dynamics Dynamics is the first and most widely attended annual project management congress held in our country and is organized by the Istanbul Project Management Association. The purpose of the Dynamics Congress is to contribute to the development of project management as a profession by using widely accepted global standards in professionalism, quality and ethical rules as the base and to bring together those who are interested in working on the subject of these standards. 4
