SICHERHEIT UND AUFSTELLEN Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen! Befolgen Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise, um Schäden wegen falscher Benutzung zu vermeiden! Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung zum späteren Nachschlagen auf. Sollte das Gerät an Dritte weitergegeben werden, so muss diese Bedienungsanleitung ebenfalls mit ausgehändigt werden. Die Edelstahlmesser und die Edelstahleinsätze sind sehr scharf! Behandeln Sie die Edelstahlmesser und die Edelstahleinsätze mit äußerster Vorsicht, besonders beim Entfernen und Reinigen, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Reinigen Sie das Gerät niemals mit bloßen Händen. Benutzen Sie immer eine Bürste. Berühren Sie keine Teile des Gerätes, die sich bewegen. Montieren oder demontieren Sie keine Teile, bis das Gerät nicht vollständig stillsteht. Halten Sie immer Haare, Kleidung und andere Gegenstände während des Betriebs vom Gerät fern, um Verletzungen und Schäden zu vermeiden. Das Gerät ist nur für den privaten Gebrauch bestimmt. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Netzspannung auf dem Typenschild mit Ihrer lokalen Versorgungsspannung übereinstimmt. Die einzige Art, das Gerät von der Stromversorgung zu trennen, ist, den Netzstecker zu ziehen. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät. Falls nicht vorhanden, wird als zusätzlicher Schutz die Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 ma im Stromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elektriker. Tauchen Sie Gerät, Netzkabel oder Netzstecker nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät zusammensetzen, nach der Benutzung des Gerätes, vor der Demontage, vor der Reinigung des Gerätes, bevor Sie den Raum verlassen oder wenn ein Fehler auftritt. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nicht am Kabel aus der Steckdose. Vermeiden Sie Schäden am Netzkabel, indem Sie es nicht quetschen, knicken oder über scharfe Kanten ziehen. Wenn das Gerät oder das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es vom Händler, einem Service- Zentrum oder von einer gleichwertig qualifizierten und autorisierten Person repariert oder ausgetauscht werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Fehlerhafte oder unqualifizierte Reparaturen können Gefahren und Risiken für den Benutzer verursachen. Öffnen Sie das Gerät unter keinen Umständen. Für Schäden aufgrund falscher Benutzung wird keine Haftung übernommen. Halten Sie das Gerät von Kindern fern. Das Gerät darf von folgenden Personen einschließlich Kindern nicht benutzt werden: solche mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder psychischen Fähigkeiten und solche mit Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen. SICHERHEIT UND AUFSTELLEN Lassen Sie das Gerät während der Benutzung nicht unbeaufsichtigt. Seien Sie äußerst vorsichtig, wenn Sie das Gerät in der Nähe von Kindern und Personen mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder psychischen Fähigkeiten benutzen. Reinigen Sie alle Teile, die mit Nahrung in Kontakt kommen vor der ersten Benutzung sorgfältig. Beachten Sie weitere Informationen im Abschnitt Reinigung und Pflege. Trocknen Sie das Gerät und alle Teile, bevor Sie es an die Stromversorgung anschließen und das Zubehör anbringen. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht ohne Zutaten im Glasbehälter. Stellen Sie das Gerät, das Zubehör, das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker niemals auf heiße Oberflächen wie Gasbrenner, elektrische Kochplatten oder heiße Öfen. Verwenden Sie keine heiße Flüssigkeiten und Nahrungsmittel. Lassen Sie heiße Nahrungsmittel und Flüssigkeiten vor der Verarbeitung auf mindestens 80 C oder weniger abkühlen. Nur der Glasbehälter ist für die Verwendung in der Mikrowelle geignet. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht für Zwecke, für die es nicht bestimmt ist. Dieses Gerät ist nur für die Verarbeitung von Nahrungsmitteln bestimmt. Schalten Sie das Gerät nie länger ein, als Sie benötigen, um die Nahrungsmittel zu verarbeiten. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nie mit feuchten oder nassen Händen. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur mit den mitgelieferten Teilen. Das Gerät ist nur für die Verarbeitung nor maler Haushaltsmengen ausgelegt. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn die Edelstahlmesser beschädigt sind oder Abnutzungserscheinungen aufweisen. Stellen Sie das Gerät immer auf eine stabile, ebene, saubere und trockene Oberfläche. Stellen Sie den Glasbehälter immer auf die rutschfeste Gummimatte. Beschädigte oder abgenutzte Gummimatten sollten beim Händler oder einer Servicestelle ausgetauscht werden. Stolpern Sie nicht versehentlich über das Netzkabel, wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist. Während des Betriebes sollte der Netzstecker immer frei zugänglich sein. Entfernen Sie die Nahrungsmittel mit Hilfe eines Spatels aus dem Glasbehälter. Gerät zuvor ausschalten! Dieses Gerät ist nicht zum Zerkleinern von Eiswürfeln und trockenen oder harten Nahrungsmitteln geeignet, die Edelstahmesser werden dadurch stumpf. Entfernen Sie Knochen und Kerne aus den Speisen, um Beschädigungen der Edelstahlmesser oder des Gerätes zu vermeiden. Um die Verletzungsgefahr zu verringern, stecken Sie die Edelstahlmesser des Gerätes niemals auf das Grundgerät, wenn das Gerät nicht richtig aufgestellt ist. AUF EINEN BLICK Rezeptideen Pesto Zutaten 1 Bund frischer Basilikum 3 Knoblauchzehen 3 Esslöffel Pinien- oder Walnusskerne 50 g geriebener Parmesan 5 Esslöffel Olivenöl Salz und frisch gemahlenen schwarzen Pfeffer nach Belieben Zubereitung Geben Sie die Basilikumblätter, die geschälten Knoblauchzehen und die Pinien- oder Walnusskerne in den Glasbehälter und drücken Sie die PULSE-Taste in kurzen Abständen, bis die Zutaten grob zerkleinert sind. Fügen Sie den Parmesan zusammen mit dem Olivenöl hinzu und drücken Sie die PULSE-Taste wiederholt, bis sich die Masse gut vermischt hat. Würzen Sie mit Salz und Pfeffer. Tarteletts Zutaten (für 10 12 Stück) 125 g Butter 100 g Zucker 1 Prise Salz 2 Eigelb 200 g Mehl 1 Teelöffel Backpulver 2 Esslöffel lauwarmes Wasser Zubereitung Geben Sie Butter, Zucker und Salz in den Glasbehälter und drücken Sie die PULSE-Taste in kurzen Abständen, bis die Masse geschlagen ist. Fügen Sie Eigelb, Mehl, Backpulver und Wasser hinzu, und drücken Sie die PULSE-Taste wiederholt, bis sich der Teig gut vermischt hat. Lassen Sie diesen nun ca. 1 Stunde an einem kühlen Ort ruhen. Rollen Sie den Teig aus, stechen 10 12 Kreise aus und legen diese in die Törtchenformen. Schieben Sie die Formen auf einem Backblech in den vorgeheizten Backofen und backen Sie bei 180 C 15 bis 20 Minuten. BEDIENEN Hinweise Zerkleinern Sie keine besonders harten Lebensmittel, wie Kaffeebohnen, Muskatnuss, Eiswürfel, Getreidekörner und Knochen. Entfernen Sie die Stengel von Kräutern, Schalen von Nüssen sowie Knochen, Sehnen und Knorpel von Fleisch. Stecken Sie vor dem Einfüllen der Nahrungsmittel den Netzstecker des Gerätes nicht in die Steckdose. Vorbereiten 1 Entfernen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien und Aufkleber und entsorgen Sie diese entsprechend der gesetzlichen Vorschriften. 2 Bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal benutzen, reinigen Sie alle Teile, die mit Nahrungsmitteln in Kontakt kommen (siehe Abschnitt Reinigung und Pflege ). 3 Zerkleinern Sie die Nahrungsmittel in kleine Stücke, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen. 4 Stellen Sie den Glasbehälter I immer auf die rutschfeste Gummimatte. Zerkleinern Achtung Die Edelstahlmesser sind sehr scharf. Seien Sie beim Entfernen der Kunststoffabdeckung sehr vorsichtig. Berühren Sie die Edelstahlmesser nicht mit bloßen Händen. 1 Entfernen Sie die Kunststoffabdeckung von den Edelstahlmessern L. 2 Setzen Sie Halterung für Zubehörteile K auf die Spindel J des Glasbehälters I. 2 Stecken Sie das Edelstahldoppelmesser L auf die Halterung für Zubehörteile K. BEDIENEN 3 Geben Sie die Zutaten in den Glasbehälter I. 4 Setzen Sie die Abdeckung F auf den Glasbehälter I. PU LSE 5 Stecken Sie das Grundgerät A auf die Abdeckung F. Dabei muss der Geschwindigkeitsregler B in Position F Off (entriegelt) stehen. Den Geschwindigkeitsregler B auf Position D PULSE (verriegelt) drehen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Verriegelungen D des Grund geräts ordnungsgemäß an den entsprechenden Vorrichtungen des Glasbehälters I eingerastet sind. 6 Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steck dose. 7 Stellen Sie die gewünschte Drehzahl durch Drehen des Geschwindigkeitsreglers B (im Uhrzeigersinn) ein. Das Gerät beginnt zu arbeiten. Hinweis Sie können die PULSE-Taste C dauerhaft oder in Intervallen betätigen. Wenn Sie nur den Intervallbetrieb ( PULSE -Funktion) nutzen wollen, drehen Sie den Geschwindigkeitsregler B auf die Position PULSE und drücken und halten die PULSE-Taste C dauerhaft. Mit der PULSE -Funktion erreichen Sie ein besseres Ergebnis beim Zerkleinern. PU LSE 8 Drehen Sie den Geschwindigkeitsregler B auf die Position Off, wenn Sie den Betrieb des Geräts stoppen möchten. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. 9 Nehmen Sie das Grundgerät A und danach die Abdeckung F ab. Entnehmen Sie die Edelstahlmesser L vorsichtig aus dem Glas - behälter I. Entnehmen Sie die Nahrungsmittel aus dem Glasbehälter I. Achtung Berühren Sie die Edelstahlmesser nicht mit bloßen Händen. Die Klingen sind sehr scharf. Hinweise Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht länger als 10 Sekunden ohne Unterbrechung, um eine Über hitzung des Gerätes zu vermeiden. Wenn die Edelstahlmesser L in dem Glasbehälter blockieren oder wenn sich die Edelstahlmesser nur langsam drehen, ziehen Sie zuerst den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Nehmen Sie dann das Grundgerät A und die Abdeckung F ab. Überprüfen Sie den Glasbehälter, um zu sehen, ob etwas die Edelstahlmesser blockiert. Eventuell ist die maximale Füllmenge überschritten oder es befinden sich zu viele harte Speisen im Glasbehälter. Wenn Nahrungsmittel an den Seiten des Glasbehälters I ankleben, kann der Spatel S benutzt werden, um die Nahrungsmittel zu entfernen. Dafür muss das Gerät ausgeschaltet sein. Stellen Sie vor dem Entfernen der Abdeckung sicher, dass alle drehenden Teile stillstehen. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit leerem Glasbehälter. 10 DEUTSCH

BEDIENEN Rühren Hinweise Sie können den Rühraufsatz M zum Schlagen von Sahne, Cremes und Eier verwenden. Verarbeiten Sie niemals mehr als 4 Eiweiß oder 400 ml Flüssigkeit/Schlagsahne. 1 Schieben Sie den Rühraufsatz M auf die Halterung K. 5 Stecken Sie das Grundgerät A auf die Abdeckung F. Dabei muss der Geschwindigkeitsregler B in Position F Off (entriegelt) stehen. Den Geschwindigkeitsregler B auf Position D PULSE (verriegelt) drehen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Verriegelungen D des Grund geräts ordnungsgemäß an den entsprechenden Vorrichtungen des Glasbehälters I eingerastet sind. 2 Stecken Sie die Halterung K mit dem Rühraufsatz M auf die Spindel J des Glasbehälters I. PU LSE 6 Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose 7 Stellen Sie die gewünschte Drehzahl durch Drehen des Geschwindigkeitsreglers B (im Uhrzeigersinn) ein. Das Gerät beginnt zu arbeiten. 3 Geben Sie die Zutaten in den Glasbehälter I. 4 Setzen Sie die Abdeckung F auf den Glasbehälter I. 8 Drehen Sie den Geschwindigkeitsregler B auf die Position Off, wenn Sie den Betrieb des Geräts stoppen möchten. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. 9 Nehmen Sie das Grundgerät A und danach die Abdeckung F ab. Entnehmen Sie den Rühraufsatz M vorsichtig aus dem Glasbehälter I. Entnehmen Sie die Nahrungsmittel aus dem Glasbehälter I. DEUTSCH 11

BEDIENEN Hinweise Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht länger als 10 Sekunden ohne Unterbrechung, um eine Überhitzung des Gerätes zu vermeiden. Wenn Nahrungsmittel an den Seiten des Glas - behälters I ankleben, kann der Spatel S benutzt werden, um die Nahrungsmittel zu entfernen. Dafür muss das Gerät ausgeschaltet sein. Stellen Sie vor dem Entfernen der Abdeckung sicher, dass alle drehenden Teile stillstehen. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit leerem Glasbehälter. Raspeln und Hobeln Achtung Die Edelstahleinsätze sind sehr scharf. Berühren Sie die Edelstahleinsätze nicht mit bloßen Händen. 1 Setzen Sie die Halterung K auf die Spindel J des Glasbehälters I. 2 Setzen Sie die Raspeleinsätze P oder Q oder den Hobeleinsatz O auf die Halterung N und rasten Sie diese ein. Hinweis Mit dem Hobeleinsatz O lassen sich Kürbis, Kartoffeln, Gurken usw. in Scheiben schneiden. Für Karotten und Sellerie verwenden Sie den Raspeleinsatz P. Mit dem Raspeleinsatz Q lassen sich Kohl und vieles mehr verarbeiten. 12 DEUTSCH

BEDIENEN 3 Setzen Sie die Halterung N mit dem Einsatz auf die Halterung für Zubehörteile K. 6 Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose 7 Fügen Sie die zu hobelnden oder raspelnden Zutaten in die Einfüllöffnung E hinzu. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Zutaten nicht größer als die Einfüllöffnung sind. Drücken Sie mit Hilfe des Nahrungsschiebers H die Zutaten hinunter. PU LSE 4 Setzen Sie die Abdeckung F auf den Glasbehälter I. 5 Stecken Sie das Grundgerät A auf die Abdeckung F. Dabei muss der Geschwindigkeitsregler B in Position F Off (entriegelt) stehen. Den Geschwindigkeitsregler B auf Position D PULSE (verriegelt) drehen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Verriegelungen D des Grund geräts ordnungsgemäß an den entsprechenden Vorrichtungen des Glasbehälters I ein gerastet sind. 8 Stellen Sie die gewünschte Drehzahl durch Drehen des Geschwindigkeitsreglers B (im Uhrzeigersinn) ein. Das Gerät beginnt zu arbeiten. 9 Drehen Sie den Geschwindigkeitsregler B auf die Position Off, wenn Sie den Betrieb des Geräts stoppen möchten. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Nehmen Sie das Grundgerät A und danach die Abdeckung F ab. Entnehmen Sie die Halterung N mit dem Einsatz und der Halterung K aus dem Glasbehälter I. Entnehmen Sie die Nahrungsmittel aus dem Glasbehälter I. DEUTSCH 13

INFORMATIONEN Reinigung und Pflege Achtung Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung des Geräts niemals Benzin, Lösungsmittel, Scheuermittel oder harte Bürsten. Berühren Sie die Edelstahlmesser nicht mit bloßen Händen. Die Klingen sind sehr scharf. Benutzen Sie eine Bürste! 1 Schalten Sie das Gerät ab und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. 2 Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen. 3 Verwenden Sie ausschließlich ein feuchtes Tuch, um das Grundgerät A außen zu reinigen und reiben Sie es danach trocken. 4 Nur die folgenden Teile können im oberen Geschirrkorb der Spülmaschine gereinigt werden: Glasbehälter I, Edelstahldoppel messer L, Raspeleinsätze P und Q, Hobeleinsatz O, Halterung N, Rühraufsatz M und Nahrungsschieber H. Abdeckung F und Halterung K nicht in der Spülmaschine reinigen. Reinigen Sie diese Teile nur mit einem feuchten Tuch. 5 Reinigen Sie das Edelstahldoppelmesser L, die Raspeleinsätze P und Q und den Hobeleinsatz O unmittelbar nach dem Gebrauch und trocknen Sie die Teile ab. 6 Bewahren Sie das Edelstahldoppelmesser L in der Kunststoffabdeckung auf, nachdem es gereinigt und getrocknet sind. Achtung Tauchen Sie das Grundgerät oder das Netzkabel niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten und halten Sie diese nicht unter fließendes Wasser. Hinweis Vor der erneuten Verwendung müssen alle Teile nach der Reinigung sorgfältig mit einem weichen Handtuch abgetrocknet werden. Lagerung Wenn Sie die Küchenmaschine längere Zeit nicht benutzen möchten, lagern Sie diese gut. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät von der Stromversorgung getrennt und vollständig trocken ist. Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem kühlen, trockenen Ort. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Gerät immer außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern befindet. DEUTSCH 15

Never switch on the appliance for longer than necessary for processing the food. Never use the appliance with damp or wet hands. Operate the appliance only with the supplied parts. The appliance is designed to process only common household quantities. Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged or show signs of wear. Always use the appliance on a stable, flat, clean and dry surface. Always place the glass bowl on the anti-slip plastic pad. If the anti-slip plastic pad is damaged or torn apart, please get a new one from the dealer or a service centre. Make sure that there is no danger that the power cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone could trip over it when the appliance is in use. Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is always accessible. The spatula may be used to remove the food from the glass bowl. Make sure the appliance is switched off before doing this. This appliance is not suitable for crushing ice or for dry or hard foods as the blades will become dull quickly. Remove any bones and stones from food to prevent the blades or the appliance from being damaged. To reduce the risk of injury, never set the blade of the appliance onto the base if the appliance is not positioned properly. AT A GLANCE Recipe ideas Pesto Ingredients 2 bunches of fresh basil 3 medium-sized garlic cloves 3 tablespoons pine nuts or walnuts 50 g grated parmesan cheese 5 tablespoons olive oil Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Preparation Put the basil leaves, peeled garlic and pine nuts or walnuts into the glass bowl of the appliance and pulse until the ingredients are coarsely chopped. Add the parmesan cheese and the olive oil and pulse a few times until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Tartlets Ingredients (makes 10 12) 125 g butter 100 g sugar 1 pinch of salt 2 egg yolks 200 g flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoons lukewarm water Preparation Put the butter, sugar and salt into the glass bowl of the appliance and pulse until the ingredients are mixed. Gradually add in the egg yolks, flour, baking powder and water and pulse until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and the dough is smooth. Cover and allow to rest in a cool place for at least 1 hour. Roll out the dough, cut in 10 12 circles and place into the tartlet cutters. OPERATION Notes Do not chop extremely hard items such as coffee beans, ice cubes, nutmeg, grains and bones. Remove stalks from herbs, shells from nuts, and bones, tendons and gristle from meat. The appliance should be unplugged. Preparation 1 Remove all packaging and stickers materials and dispose of them according to the applicable legal regulation. 2 Before using of the appliance for first time, clean parts which come into contact with food (see the Cleaning and care section). 3 Cut the food into small pieces before using the appliance. 4 Always place the glass bowl on the anti-slip plastic pad R. Chopping Caution The chopping blade is very sharp, be careful while removing the plastic cover. Do not touch the chopping blade with your bare hands. 1 Place accessory support K onto the fixed shaft J in the glass bowl I. 2 Place the chopping blade L on the accessory support K. 3 Put the food that you would like to prepare into glass bowl I. 4 Fit the intermediate lid F into position on the glass bowl I. 22 ENGLISH

OPERATION 5 Put the base unit A onto the intermediate lid F that is fitted onto the glass bowl I. Make sure that the indicator of the speed control and locking / unlocking button B is at unlock position F. Turn the indicator of button B to the locked position D. Make sure that the locking handles D of the base unit are clipped properly onto the handles of the glass bowl I. 6 Insert the plug into the wall socket. 7 Turn the speed control and locking / unlocking button B clockwise and select the desired speed. The appliance starts. Note You can press and hold down pulse button C continuously or intermittently. If you want to use only the pulse function, turn the speed control and locking / unlocking button B to the pulse position and press and hold down pulse button C. You can obtain a better quality of chopping with the pulse function. PU LSE PU LSE 9 Disconnect the power plug from the wall socket. Remove the base unit A and then the intermediate lid F. Carefully take out the chopping blade L carefully. Remove the food from the glass bowl I. Caution Do not touch the chopping blade with your bare hands. The chopping blade is very sharp. Notes Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 10 seconds, in order to prevent overheating. If the chopping blade L does not work or only turns slowly, first pull out the power plug. Then take the base unit A and the intermediate lid F off. Check the glass bowl to see if there is something blocking the chopping blade. Maybe you put too much food and/or hard food in the glass bowl. If the ingredients stick to the side of the glass bowl, use the spatula S to remove the food from the glass bowl. The appliance must be switched off when you do this. Make sure that all rotating parts are stopped before removing the intermediate lid. Do not operate the appliance when the glass bowl is empty After use, clean the chopping blade (see the Cleaning and Care section) and store it in the chopping blade plastic cover. 8 Turn the speed control and locking / unlocking button B to the Off position when you want to finish the operation. OPERATION Whisking Notes You can use the whisk for whipping cream and beating eggs. Never use more than 4 egg whites or 400g cream. 1 Put the whisk M onto the accessory support K so that the claws on the whisk fit the accessory support until you hear a click. 3 Put the food into the glass bowl I. 4 Fit the intermediate lid F into position on the glass bowl I. 2 Place the accessory support K with the whisk M onto the fixed shaft J in the glass bowl I. 5 Put the base unit A on the intermediate lid F that is fitted onto glass bowl I. Make sure that the indicator of speed control and locking / unlocking button B is in the unlock position F. Turn the indicator of the button B to the locked position D. Clip the locking handles D of the base unit properly onto the handles of the glass bowl I. PU LSE 6 Insert the plug into the wall socket. 7 Turn the speed control and locking / unlocking button B clockwise and select the desired speed. Use shredding attachment Q for garnishing cabbage, carrots, etc. 3 Place the attachment holder N with the attachment on the accessory support K in the glass bowl I. 4 Fit the intermediate lid F into position on the glass bowl I. 2 Put the shredding attachment P, shredding attachment Q or slicing attachment O on attachment holder N and make sure that it clicks into place. OPERATION PU LSE 5 Put the base unit A onto the intermediate lid F that is fitted onto the glass bowl I. Make sure that the indicator of speed control and locking / unlocking button B is in the unlock position F. Turn the indicator of button B to the locked position D. Make sure that the locking handles D of the base unit are clipped properly onto the handles of the glass bowl I. 6 Insert the plug into the wall socket. 7 Insert the food that you want to slice or shred through the filler spout E. Make sure that the food is not larger than the filler spout. Use the pusher H to push the food to the attachment holder. 8 Turn the speed control and locking / unlocking button B clockwise and select the desired speed. The appliance starts. 9 Turn the speed control and locking / unlocking button B to the Off position when you want to finish the operation. Disconnect the power plug from the wall socket. Remove the base unit A and then the intermediate lid F. Take out the attachment holder N with the attachment and the accessory support K from the glass bowl I. Remove the food from the glass bowl I. INFORMATION Cleaning and care Caution Never use petrol, solvents or abrasive cleaners, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance. Do not touch the chopping blades, shredders and slicers with your bare hands as they are very sharp. Use a brush instead. 1 Turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the wall socket. 2 Let the appliance cool down completely. 3 Use a damp soft cloth to clean the exterior of the base unit A and then wipe it dry. 4 You can put the glass bowl I, chopping blade L, shredding attachment P, shredding attachment Q, the slicing attachment O, the attachment holder N, whisk M, and spatula S on the upper shelf of the dishwasher. Do not clean the intermediate lid F or accessory support K in the dishwasher. Instead, clean them with a damp soft cloth. 5 Immediately after use, clean the chopping blade L, shredding attachment P, shredding attachment Q and the slicing attachment O and then dry them. Store the chopping blade in its plastic cover after you have cleaned and dried it. Caution Never put the base unit or power cord in water or any other liquids and never hold them under running water. Note Before using the appliance again, dry all parts carefully after cleaning, using a soft towel. Storage If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and completely dry.
