North Rhine- Westphalia/Turkey Kuzey Ren Vestfalya/Türkiye North Rhine-Westphalia is the leading state for Turkish migration in Germany. 570,000 Turkish fellow citizens live here, 1/3 of all Turkish migrants in Germany. Cluster Nano-, Microtechnology and Materials in North Rhine-Westphalia The Cluster Nano-, Microtechnology and Materials in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia represents and serves enterprises and research institutions, which are active in the fields of nanotechnology, microsystems technology as well as innovative materials. The cluster management is the central agency for all questions dealing with these fields of technology. The higher aim of cluster management is to make North Rhine Westphalia the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economic area in Germany. This includes the creation of an environment that promotes and accelerates innovation as well as sharpening the international profile in order to attain an internationally visible leading position in these fields.
