Information about the operating instructions These operating instructions are intended to enable the safe and proper handling and operation of the appliance. Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time. Keep the operating instructions in a safe place. Include these operating instructions when passing the appliance on to another user. SAFETY GB CE Declaration of Conformity Intended use This appliance fulfills the requirements of the Appliance and Product Safety Law (GPSG) and the EU Directives 2004/108/EC Electromagnetic Compatibility and 2006/95/EC Low-Voltage Directive. The appliance bears the CE mark on the rating plate. The appliance is constructed to process normal household quantities. Short-time operating. Use the appliance for no longer than 1 minute, and don t operate hard food for no longer than 10 seconds. Return appliance to an authorized Fakir Service facility for examination, repair or adjustment. Don t let excess cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop or touch hot surface. Please keep this instruction manual for further usage. Danger of fire and explosion! Never vacuum hot ashes or burning objects, such as cigarettes or matches. Never use the appliance in the vicinity of explosive or flammable materials. Never vacuum any solvents, explosive gases or liquids. ATTENTION! Risk of short circuits! Never vacuum water and other liquids, such as damp carpet cleaning solutions.. Destruction of filters! Never vacuum sharp or pointed objects, such as glass splinters, nails, etc. Materials that harden when dry, such as plaster or cement, can also destroy the filter. Damage to appliance from rain and dir! Never use or store the appliance outdoors. Danger from overheating! Always keep the openings in the appliance free. 20
GB SAFETY ATTENTION! ELECTRIC CURRENT! Incorrect voltage can destroy the appliance. Operate the appliance only if the voltage specified on the rating plate corresponds to the voltage in your household. The socket must be protected with a 16 A automatic circuit breaker. Use only extension cords designed for the power input of the appliance. WARNING: DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Never touch the plug with wet hands. When unplugging the appliance, always pull directly on the plug and never on the power cord. Do not kink, pinch or run over the power cord and do not expose it to heat sources. USAGE GB Usage Usage of the hand blender: The hand blender is perfectly suited for preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby food as well as for mixing and milkshakes. Turn the stainless steel blender stick on the motor unit until it locks.introduce the hand blender in the vessel. Push the on/off button to operate it. Use the hand blender for no longer than 1 minute. Caution: The blade is very sharp! Caution: Don t operate food without water! 24
GB USAGE Usage Usage of the whisk attachment: Use the whisk only for whipping cream, beating egg whites and mixing sponges and Ready-mix desserts. Inset the whisk into the whisk holder, and then turn the gear box on the motor unit until it locks. Place the whisk in a vessel or measurement cup and only then. Push the on/off button to operate it. Use the whisk for no longer than 2 minute. Turn the gear box off the motor unit after use. Then pull the whisk out of the gear box. 25
USAGE GB Usage Usage the mini chopper with shredder disc / gratin blade: It is suitable for preparing a maximum of 500g of foodstuffs at once (no meat).shredder / slicing blade: suitable to use for potatoes, gratins dauphinois, carrots, cucumbers, etc Grating blade: suitable for grating carrots, gruerecheese, celery, etc.slide the blade S into the blade holder disc. Place the spindle drive onto the spindle in the middle of the bowl, then the blade holder disc onto the spindle drive, and then the blender lid adaptor on the lid. Position and lock the lid.
