IMPERATIVES (EMİR KİPİ) The imperative form is always used with an infinitive verb without to (Emir kipi oluşturulurken her zaman fiilin birinci hali kullanılır): Exp: Come here! Buraya gel! Be careful! Dikkatli ol! The imperative form does not have a subject pronoun (Emir kipi oluşturulurken özne kullanılmaz): Exp: Touch your toes Ayak parmaklarına dokun We form the negative with don t (Olumsuz emir kipi fiilin önüne don t getirerek oluşturulur): Exp: Don t stop! (Durma!) We use the imperative (Emir kipinin kullanıldığı durumlar): 1. To give instructions (Komut, talimat vermek için): Touch your nose (Burnuna dokun) 3

SONU LY İLE BİTEN ZARFLAR We use adverbs ending in ly to describe a verb. They tell us how we do the action. Sonu ly ile biten zarfları fiilleri tanımlamak için kullanırız. Bu zarflar bize fiilin nasıl yapıldığını anlatırlar. We form ly adverbs by adding ly to an adjective: Sonu ly ile biten zarfları sıfatların sonuna ly ekleyerek oluştururuz LY ADVERBS. It s too fast for Sasha. She asks the teacher to dance (2) so that she can learn. It is very difficult and Sasha dances so that her partner laughs! Sasha is embarrassed so she leaves the class. She goes out so the other people in the class don t hear her. Then she sees a sign on the door: Advanced Salsa. It s the wrong class! The next week she goes to the beginners class.
