Results TNPGN has been in service and the data provided by TNPGN will yield an unprecedented precision for monitoring kinematics of Anatolia and surrounding regions. The data spans the time period 2008-2010 and velocity field already reached the precision of survey type campaigns over 18 years. The obtained strain rates substantiate the concentration of shearing near Istanbul after 1999 earthquakes. Detailed inspection of the Central Anatolia reveals the inhomogenous rotation rates. 39
Velocity field that has been achieved by analyzing TNPNGN and TNPGN-Active data seems similar to that obtained by using TNFGN and other campain type data. TNFGN velocity field has high temporal and spatial resolution and in this respect it gives the most reliable velocity field for Turkey. TNPGN-Active provides data since the middle of 2008. Although it has not temporal resolution enough, results does not seem incompatible with the previous studies. TNPGN-Active provides unprecedented data for determining neotectonics of Anatolia on a daily basis. Combination of these continuous data with long term campaign type data will give more accurate results. 40
