After much discussion, they choose Bizum Hoca (Our Hodja), a villager loved and respected by everyone, as their unofficial stand-in. Our Hodja differs from the stereotypical imam and is keen to change some of the villagers bad habits. Meanwhile, the community becomes embroiled in a hotly contested issue when plans emerge to build one of the region s controversial hydroelectric power plants (HEPP) on a river flowing through the village.
