International Internal Medicine Training Meetings-2 / Macedonia Uluslararası İç Hastalıkları Eğitim Toplantıları-2 / Makedonya Distinguished Colleagues, Turkey and the neighbouring countries are located in such a geography where the majority of the world s population live. Turkish Society of Internal Medicine held the first meeting in the Pristina, Kosovo on 16-17 November, 2012, within the scope of academic and social cooperation between Turkey and the neighbouring countries, in the field of Internal Diseases. The second International Internal Medicine Training Meeting is planned to be held in Skopje, Macedonia on 06-08 December, 2013 in order to maintain and strengthen the cooperation with the neighbour countries. It is aimed to build and develop cooperation as comprehensive as possible with the support of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health and Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Health. It is intended to build and develop social integrity and communication through the activities planned for the leisure time during the congress, apart from the scientific program. Besides, the participants will have the opportunity to visit historical and cultural sites of Macedonia. I expect your contribution to the bridge of science to be built together with our colleagues in the neighbouring geography, hosting a common history & culture and I hope to be honoured with your participation.
