LED DRIVER ÇEŞİTLERİ LED lerin beslemelerinde iki farklı güç kaynağı çeşidi kullanılır; 1.Akım Sınırlamalı LED Sürücüler Power LED lerin beslemesinde kullanılır. Power LED lerin güçleri genellikle 0,5W, 1W, 2W, 3W ve 5W olup 350 ma ve katları (700 ma, 1050 ma..) şeklinde ilerleyen LED sürücüler ile beslenmektedirler. Power LED ler akımları sınırlanmazsa çok fazla akım çekerler, bu yüzden mutlaka akım sınırlamalı LED güç kaynaklarının kullanılması gerekmektedir. Çünkü fazla akım çekilmesi ısınmalara ve ömürlerinin kısalmasına neden olur. Halbuki LED lerin tercih edilmesinin esas nedeni ömürlerinin uzun olmasıdır. Akım sınırlamalı LED driverlar tasarım kolaylığı sağlamak için belirli akımlarda üretilmektedir. 350 ma => Tek sıra 1W 700 ma => 2 sıra 1W 2. Voltaj sınırlamalı LED Sürücüler Low Power ve middle power ledler düşük akımla çalışırlar ve bu LED lere sabit voltaj sağlayan AC veya DC güç kaynakları ile beslenirler. Sabit voltaj sağlayan bu güç kaynakları genellikle 12 ve 24 Volttur. Güç Hesabı nasıl yapılır? Paralel bağlı devrelerde her koldan geçen voltaj eşittir fakat akım paylaşılır. Seri bağlı devrelerde ise tam tersi bir şekilde bir koldan geçen akım tüm malzemeler üzerinden eşit miktarda geçer fakat voltaj paylaşılır. Driver seçerken ilk bakacağımız özellik LED Modülün max. Akım değeri olmalıdır. Kayıpları da hesaba katarak modülün akım değeri max. değerinden daha düşük olarak hesap yapılmalıdır. Örnek: Imax=30mA paralel kol sayısı = 5 Seri bağlı led sayısı = 6 Olan bir modül için hesap yaparsak; Her bir LED den geçen akımı 25 ma olacağını düşünürsek LED lerin ortalama gerilim değeri de 3,2V olacağından her bir LED in gücü; P=I.V formülünden P=(25/1000).3,2 P=0,08 Watt olur. Toplam güç ise 30x0,08=2,4 Watt olur. Bu modül için P=2,4 W ve I=25ma x 5 = 125 ma değerlerine uygun bir driver seçilmelidir. 1.Constant current LED Driver Constant current LED driver uses to supply power LEDs. Generally power LED s powers are 0,5W, 1W, 2W, 3W and 5W and they are supplied with 350 ma LED drivers, 700 ma LED drivers, 1050 ma LED drivers and son on. If current is not limited, power LEDs draw current overmuch, so absolutely constant current LED driver must be used. Because over-current is caused heating and short LED lifetime whereas the reason for preferring the LEDs is long lifetime. Constant current LED driver is produced specific currents for design provide convenience. 350 ma => 1 string 1W 700 ma => 2 strings 1W 2.Constant Voltage LED Driver Low power and middle power LEDs operate with low current and these LEDs are supplied AC and DC constant voltage LED driver. These drivers are generally 12V and 24V. Power calculation In parallel circuit, the voltage of each string are equal but current is shared. In serial connection circuit the voltage of one string are shared but current is equal. When we choose driver, first feature to be look should be max. current value of LED module. Current value is considered less than max. current value and power is calculated. 2 www.sarnikon.com

Example: Imax = 30 ma Numbers of parallel strings = 5 Number of LEDs per strings = 6 If we calculate for this modules, If We consider, the current value pulse through each LED 25 ma and average voltage value 3,2V Power of each LEDs calculate P=I.V P=(25/1000).3,2 P=0,08 Watt Total power value is 30x0,08=2,4 W For this module, P=2,4 W and I=25mA x 5 = 125 ma driver must be choosen. Neden PFC li LED Driver? PFC li LED Driver ın önemini anlamak için önce PFC nin ne olduğunu öğrenmemiz gerekmektedir; Açılımı Power Factor Correction olan PFC; güç oranı düzenleme anlamına gelmektedir. Evlerimizde, ofislerimizde kullandığımız elektrik 220V geriliminde 50Hz frekansında alternatif akımdır. Alternatif akım da akım saniyede 50 kez salınım yapmaktadır. Örneğin biz bir lambanın sabit bir şekilde yandığını görürüz fakat o, saniyede 50 kez yanıp sönmektedir. Kullandığımız cihazların yapısına bağlı olarak şebekeden çekilen elektriğin dalgalanmaları değişmektedir. Sadece dirençlerden oluşan basit bir cihaz kullandığımızda akım ve gerilimin senkronize bir şekilde ilerlediğini görürüz. Fakat bobin, kondansatör gibi komplex yükler içeren cihazlar kullanıldığında işler değişir. Gerilim-akım senkronizasyonu bozulur, düzgün bir sinüs dalgası şeklinde olan grafiğe harmonik dalgalar dahil olur. Böylece akım ve gerilim arasında faz farkı oluşur. Aslında tek bir cihaz için düşünüldüğünde bu faz farkının pek bir zararı yoktur. Fakat tüm elektrik şebekesini düşündüğümüzde büyük bir etkisinin olduğunu görürüz. Çünkü güç faktörü düşük cihazlar elektrik şebekesine ek yük bindirir. Bu yük yüzünden fabrika gibi büyük elektrik motorları ve makineleri kullanan kurumlar sadece kullandıkları elektrik için değil ek olarak reaktif elektrik bedeli için ücret ödüyorlar. Reaktif elektrik demek kullandığımız(aktif) elektrik dışında şebekeden çekilen fakat enerjiye dönüşmeyen elektrik demektir. Reaktif güç kompanzasyonu kullanıldığı takdirde sistemlerin reaktif elektrik çekimi minimuma indirgenmiş olur. PFC li LED driver ların önemine dönersek; Aydınlatma ürünlerinin yoğun olarak kullanıldığı büyük işletmelerde aktif-reaktif elektrik enerjisini dengelemek ve kullanılmayan enerjinin maliyetlerinden kaçınmak için PFC özellikli LED Driver lar kullanılmalıdır. Yıllar geçtikçe geleneksel aydınlatma ürünlerinin yerini LED ürünlerinin alacağını düşünürsek LED Driver ları için PFC nin önemi gün geçtikçe artacaktır. PFC li LED Driver kullanmak bize hem enerji verimliliği sağlayacak hem de maddi kayıplarımızı önlememize yardımcı olacaktır. Why LED Driver with PFC? To understand the importance of LED Drivers with PFC, it must be known what PFC is; PFC is the abbreviation of Power Factor Correction. The power delivered to our houses and offices has the values of 220V alternative voltage and 50Hz frequency. In AC systems, current oscillates 50 times in one second. For example, when we look at a bulb we would see that it lights up constantly, but in fact it flickers 50 times in one second because of the frequency. The ripple of the power drawn from the network changes by the structure of the devices we use. If we use a device which consists solely of resistors, we would see that voltage and current are synchronized. But if it contains complex loads like inductor and capacitor the synchronization between voltage and current would fail and the sinus waveform would include harmonics. Thereby, there would be a phase shift between voltage and current. Actually, if it is considered for only one device, this phase shift would not be a problem. But if it is considered for the whole network, we would see the effects because devices with low power factor would overload the network. Because of this overloading, factories which use electrical machines charged with extra reactive power consumption cost. Reactive power is drawn from the network but it does not converted into energy, unlike the active power which we use. If reactive power compensation is used, the reactive power consumption would decrease. Let s go back to LED Drivers with PFC; To balance the active-reactive electrical energy and avoid the cost of unused energy, facilities which densely uses lighting products should prefer LED Drivers with PFC specification. As the years went by, if we consider LED products will take the place of traditional lighting, the importance of PFC will increase for the LED Drivers.
