Ever since the use of polyurethane became more widespread in all facets of life, the Polyurethane (PU) Sector, a branch of the plastics industry, has begun to be acknowledged as one of the most promising sectors of the future. In daily life it is used almost anywhere -- in the home, at the gym and/or at any sports facility anywhere, in the car, in furniture, in bedding, refrigerators, footwear, on the roof or façade of our houses, in all hygienic environments In short, even if we can t always identify it, polyurethane is an important part of our lives. The phrase Polyurethane Sector started being heard in Turkey in the 1980 s, and the industry rapidly developed as from the beginning of the 1990 s.
