Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları 1) İşletme alanı ile ilgili temel kavramları tanımlar. 2) İşletme kültürünü oluşturan veya etkileyen faktörlerin önemini kavrar. 3) İşletme biliminin diğer bilim dalları ile arasındaki ilişkilerini, sınıflandırılmasını ve kuruluş işlemlerini temel düzeyde tanımlar. 4) İşletmenin Yönetim-Organizasyon fonksiyonuna ait terimleri ve yönetimin alt fonksiyonlarını (planlama, örgütleme, yürütme, koordine etme, denetleme) tanımlar. 5) İşletmenin kuruluş işlemlerinin takibini yapar. 6) Yönetimin fonksiyonlarının yürütülmesiyle ilgili ortaya çıkan temel düzeydeki sorunları irdeleyerek çözüm önerileri geliştirir. 7) Örgüt Şeması hazırlayarak, örgüt etkinliklerinin bir bütünlük içerisinde yürütülmesinde sahip olduğu temel düzeydeki bilgiyi kullanır. 8) Yönetim alanındaki yeni uygulamalarda karşılaşılan olası sorunları öngörerek önleyici stratejiler geliştirmenin önemini kavrar. 9) Yönetimin temel düzeydeki teknik ve uygulamalarını değerlendirerek, mevcut teknik ve uygulamaların sürekli iyileştirilmesine yönelik öneriler geliştirir. 10) İşletmenin temel işlemleri ve yönetim organizasyon fonksiyonu ile ilgili verilerin toplanması, yorumlanması, uygulanması ve sonuçlarının duyurulması aşamalarında toplumsal, bilimsel, kültürel ve etik değerlere uygun hareket etmenin önemini kavrar. 11) Farklı işletme fonksiyonlarını, kariyer olanaklarını, başarılı iş adamlarını ve firmaları takip eder. 12) İşletme ortamının rekabetçi doğasına uygun yetenekler geliştirir. Learning Outcomes 1) Define basic concepts of business. 2) Comprehend the importance of the factors which affect or constitute the business culture. 3) Define the relationship between business and other disciplines, business classification and foundation procedures of business at the basic level. 4) Define the terms related to management and organization which is sub-function of business and management's sub-functions (planning, organizing, leading, coordinating and controlling). 5) Follow the foundation procedures of business. 6) Develop solutions to issues related to the implementation of the functions of management at the basic level by examining them. 7) Use the information carrying out activities in an integrated manner at the basic level preparing an organization chart. 8) Predict the importance of developing preventive strategies imagining potential problems encountered in the field of new applications of management. 9) Evaluate the importance of developing recommendations for the development of management by conducting preventive solutions of current technics. 10) Grasp the importance of acting in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethical values about the stages of data collection, interpretation, implementation and announcing the results of basic operations of business and management and organization function. 11) Follow different business functions, career opportunities, successful businessmen and companies. 12) Develop the appropriate skills in tunes with challenging business environment.

The aim of this course is to introduce the engineering students to the basic concepts of the Calculus such as limit, contiunity and differential and evolve them to an expertise level and to provide the students with the properties of analytical thinking, discussion and evaluation.
