Bisiklet Federasyonu seçimi yapıldıktan sonra, başkan ve yönetim kurulu üyeleriyle öncelikle mali konularla alakalı sorunları çözdük. Aralık ayı içerisinde Mallorca da World Tour semineri yapıldı. Buna başkanımızla beraber katıldım. Orada bir sunum gerçekleştirdim. Ülkemizde konaklama, yol, güvenlik ve tüm organizasyonal unsurların ne kadar kaliteli olduğunu, hangi seviyede olduğunu anlattım. Çok da güzel bir görüşme gerçekleşti. Akabinde maalesef İstanbul da Reina terör saldırısı gerçekleşti. Bu saldırı takımları doğrudan etkiledi. Ekim ayı için takımlarla görüştük UCI a bildirdik. Akabinde onaylandı ve yarış ziyaretlerine başladık. Bisiklet Federasyonunun hedefleri nedir? Federasyonun önünde uzun bir yol var. Paris Nice yarışı, Frankfurt, Ashburn bir çok yarışa gittik. Ülkemizdeki organizasyon Tour de France dahil, birçok organizasyon, otel, yol kalitesinin çok çok üzerinde. Şu anda takım burada start alacak. Biz inanıyoruz ki önümüzde uzun bir yol var. Bu bizi yıldırmayacak. Çünkü World Tour takvimi çok büyük bir takvim. Çok iyi takımlar var, çok güzel yarışlar var. Biz de buradaki yerimizi sabitlemek istiyoruz.
