3 Listmania Ünite PRESENT PERFECT & PAST SIMPLE We use the present perfect when we don t give a specific time in the past. Present perfect tense i geçmiş zamanda belirli bir zaman vermediğimiz durumlarda kullanırız: I ve been to Rome (we don t know when) Roma da bulundum (ne zaman bilmiyoruz) We use the past simple if we say when something happened Eğer bir şeyin ne zaman meydana geldiğini söylersek Simple Past Tense kullanırız. I went to Zurich a few years ago Birkaç yıl önce Zürih e gittim. We use the present perfect to ask an initial question about past experiences. Geçmişteki tecrübeler, deneyimlerle ilgili soru sorarken ilk soruyu present perfect tense ile oluştururuz. Have you ever been to Thailand? Yes, I have. Hiç Tayland da bulundun mu? Evet, bulundum. We use the past simple to ask for more information. Daha fazla bilgi almak istediğimizde, birinci sorudan sonrasında simple past tense kullanırız. Did you have a good time there? It was OK. Orada iyi vakit geçirdin mi? Iyiydi REVIEW OF VERB FORMS We use the present simple to talk about things we do regularly. Genellikle yaptığımız işlerden, şeylerden bahsederken Simple Present Tense kullanırız. I go to English class twice a week. Haftada iki gün İngilizce dersine giderim. We use the present continuous to talk about what we are doing right now. Konuşma anında yaptığımız şeylerden bahsederken Present Continuous Tense kullanırız. I m watching football. Futbol seyrediyorum. 3

4 İngilizce We use the past simple to talk about what happened at a specific time in the past: Geçmişte belirli bir zamanda meydana gelen şeylerden bahsederken Simple Past Tense kullanırız. I went to bed late last night. Dün gece geç yattım. We use going to to talk about future plans. Gelecekle ilgili planlardan bahsederken going to kullanırız. I m going to learn Italian. İtalyanca öğreneceğim. We use will to talk about what we know or think about the future: Gelecekle ilgili düşündüklerimizi veya bildiklerimizi anlatırken will kullanırız. Jack will be 6 on Sunday. Jack Pazar günü 6 yaşında olacak. We use can to talk about ability and permission: Yeteneklerden bahsederken ve izin istemek için can kullanırız. Can you speak Japanese?
