Turkish Construction Sector The construction sector is one of the leading sectors in the Turkish economy, effecting roughly 150 areas of the economy. The building materials industry accounts for 10% of the industrial total and, after textiles and the food industry, it s Turkey s third biggest sector. If it is recalculated including the building materials, which are within the scope of the industrial sector, the share of the construction sector within the Turkish economy (as production value) is around 10%. This data shows that the construction material sector has distinctive effect on economy. The construction sector has recorded a 7,6% shrinking in 2008 and it is share 5,9% on GNP. During this period, the total amount of investment has created 47% in Turkey. Total construction expenditure has 36% increased. The third rendez-vous of the Turkeybuild chain of exhibitions organized by YEM will be organized in Izmir Kültürpark Fair Area. Every year, since 1995, Turkeybuild Izmir has been the focus of the building industry around Izmir. This year, Turkeybuild Izmir opens its doors for the 16 th time with the participation of nearly 300 Turkish manufacturers who produce the majority of Turkish building materials in Izmir, as an economical hearth of the territory, together with its hinterland in parallel with the rapidly growing number of tourism based construction sector. Stand n genel konstrüksiyonu, bölme panelleri, ayd nlat lmas ve dekorasyonu kat l mc ya aittir. Aç k alan zemini beton veya asfaltt r. Fuar organizasyonu, stand alan na bir priz ile her 3 m 2 için 100 watt enerji verecektir. Stand içi elektrik tesisat ve stand konstrüksiyonu, kat l mc firmalar taraf ndan gerçeklefltirilecektir. Explanations For participation without shell scheme, the electricity outlet to provide 100 watt free of charge energy for each 3 sqm will be provided by The Building Information Centre (YEM) Technical Office. The electric cable will be laid in any part of the stand. The erection of stand, lighting & decoration will be arranged by the exhibitor. The floor finishing of the outdoor space is concrete or asphalt. The exhibition organiser is responsible for providing one electricity outlet and 100 watt free of charge energy per 3 sqm. The electricity installation within the stand is under the responsibility of the exhibitor. The extra charge paid for the shell scheme includes rental price, stand erection (aluminum frame, partition wall panels), floor carpeting and company name sign on the fascia board in characters and colours determined by YEM. YEM will also provide electrical installation and lighting fixtures (1 spot for each 3 sqm). The decoration within the stand will be arranged by the exhibitor. Fair Catalogue A catalogue in Turkish and English will be published for the participating firms. A single page in both languages will be assigned for each exhibitor in this catalogue. Advertisement The fair will be advertised to the public through advance media releases in most efficient ways. YEM will also advertise the opening of the fair through posters and billboards, and by mailing invitations to professionals and firms. Information Office An information office to provide general information to visitors and exhibitors will serve throughout the fair. Announcement and Music Systems An audio system will be available in the fairground for paging and music broadcasting. Electricity and Lighting For standard stand, YEM will be responsible for providing an electrical outlet, a spotlight and 100 watt free electricity for every 3 sqm of stand space. Additional power will be available at cost. Inner electrical installation in the stands without standart stand and in the outdoor area will be realized by the exhibitors; in this case the organiser will supply 100 watt power per 3 sqm. The exceeding power consumption will be charged. Janitorial Services YEM will provide cleaning services of the public areas throughout the fair. Exhibition Opening Hours The exhibition will be open at 11:00am to 7:30pm. Exhibitors are allowed to enter the halls after 10:00am everyday and should give a written confirmation to the exhibition management as they want to carry out any activity after 7:30pm. Standlar n Fuar Bitiminde Sökülmesi Fuara kat lan kurulufllar n bütün malzemelerini fuar n son günü saat 20.00 den 24:00 e kadar, stand konstrüksiyonunu kendileri yapan firmalar n ise tüm ürün ve stand malzemelerini fuar bitiminden 1 gün sonra saat 19:00 a kadar sergi yerinden tamamen kald rm fl olmalar gerekmektedir. All kinds of technical and commercial information about the goods and services on display at the stand will be presented by the exhibitor s own personnel. Type and Size of Stands Size of stands are figured on squaremeter basis. Standard height is 2.50 m. Stands provided are made of white wall panel and aluminium framed construction. For exhibitors needing space other than the standard package provided by YEM, it is required that the exhibitor must apply to YEM for the approval of stand design. Application of Two-Storied Stands Only those stands over 24 sqm exhibition area are permitted to apply two storey stand construction due to agreement by the contract. Second storey utilization will be additionally charged if approved. Stand Decoration The decoration of stands and display of their products will be erected by the exhibitors themselves. The exhibitors must submit their stand design to YEM for approval latest by 30 days prior to the opening of the fair. Erection of Stand Three days are given to exhibitors for special designed stand erection. Exhibitors with standart stand should complete erection within 2 days. Therefore, decoration work has to be completed off site and 3 days will be used for erection and finishing. All decoration and stand works have to be completed and ready for the exhibition not later than 7.00pm before the exhibition opening. Stand Dismantling at The End of Exhibition Companies using standard stand equipment must remove all of their displayed items between 8.00pm and 12.00pm on the final day of the exhibition. Companies participating with special stands must clear their area latest by 07.00pm one day after the final day of the exhibition.
