LNB OUT LNB IN IR DC IN 12V Pilleri Yerle tirme Uzaktan kumanda ünitesinin pil kapa ını açınız ve 2 adet AAA pili yerle tiriniz. Pilleri yerle tirirken, pil yuvasının içerisindeki yön bilgisine dikkat ediniz. 1.Kapa ı açınız 2.Pilleri yerle tiriniz 3.Kapa ı kapatınız Kumandanın kullanılı ı Uzaktan kumanda alıcı gözünü, alıcının yan tarafındaki IR giri ine takınız. Alıcı göz, 7metreye kadar, 60 derecelik bir açı ile alı yapmaktadır. Uzaktan kumanda ile alıcı göz arasında herhangi bir engel olmamalıdır. Direkt gelen güne ı ı ı veya a ırı parlak bir ı ık, uzaktan kumanda alı hassasiyetini olumsuz yönde etkileyebilir. 3

Menu Düzeni 1. Çabuk Kurulum 1.1 Lisan Seçimi Kullanıcı, Kurulum menusunden, istedi i lisanı seçebilir. (1) Menu tu una basarak Ana menu ye giriniz. (2) VOL +/- tu ları ile Ayarlar menusune gelip OK ile alt menuye geçiniz. (3) CH+/- tu ları ile Kurulum menusune gelerek OK ile alt menuye giriniz. (4) Genel Ayarlar seçene ini seçerek OK tu u ile alt menuye giriniz. (5) Ekran Dili seçene ine geliniz. (6) Vol +/- tu ları ile istedi iniz dili seçiniz. (7) Exit tu unu kullanarak menulerden çıkınız. 1.2 Uydu yayınlarının bulunması Yayınların bulunabilmesi için, ayarlar yapıldıktan sonra arama yapılması gerekir. 1.2.1 Uyduların Ayarlanması Uydu ayarı için, Ana Menu -> Ayarlar -> Kurulum -> Anten ve Arama Ayarları -> menulerine girilir. Önce, ekil 1 de gösterildi i ekilde switch tipi seçilir ve ilgili çana a ili kin LNB dataları girilir ( ekil 2) ekil 1.Uydu Ayarı ekil 2.Uydu Ekleme DiSEqC1.2 motor kullanıldı ı taktirde, kullanıcı limit de erlerini,konum ve LNB de erlerini girecektir. Kullanıcı, farklı uydular için, en çok 32 konum ayarlayarak kaydedebilir ( ekil 3 ve 4 ). Switch Tipi :DiSEqC 1.0 / 1.1, ya da DiSEqC1.2 motor konumu seçilmelidir. Hiç DiSEqC kullanılmıyorsa, Hiçbiri seçene i alınmalıdır. Toneburst: Bu tür anahtarlama kullanıldı ı taktirde Açık konuma getirilir.. LNB Tipi: Kullanılan LNB tipi girilir. LNB Alt Frekansı : LNB alt frekansı girilir. LNB Üst Frekansı : LNB üst frekansı girilir. 5

ekil 3. DiSEqC1.2 Ayarı ekil 4. DiSEqC1.2 MotorLimitleri Bu konumda, MAV tu a basarak seçilen uydudan, KIRMIZI tu a basarak da ayarlanmı tüm uydulardan tarama yapmak mümkündür ( ekil 5 ). Tarama Modu: Varsayılan / Detaylı Kör Tarama / NIT seçeneklerinden biri seçilmelidir. Program Seçimi : Tüm yayınların yada sadece ifresiz yayınların seçilmesini sa lar. ekil 5. Tarama Modu 1.2.2 Transponder Ayarı ve Tarama Cihazda daha önceden kaydedilmi uydu bilgileri mevcut ise, transponder tarama ve düzenleme i lemi yapılabilir: Menu -> Ayarlar -> Kurulum -> TP Yönetimi ( ekil 6 ). VOL +/- tu larıyla uydu seçilir, CH +/- tu larıyla transponder seçilir. OK -> CH +/- -> VOL +/- -> 0~9 tu larıyla, ilgili transponderin frekans, sembol hızı ve polarite bilgileri girilir. 2.Menu lemleri Kanal tarama i lemi bitip bulunan kanallar cihaza kaydedildikten sonar, TV ve radio yayınlarını izleyip dinleyebilirsiniz. Bu bölümde bununla ilgili tipik bilgiler aktarılmaktadır. 2.1 Ana Menu Ana menude pek çok i lem gerçekle tirilebilmektedir. (1) Menu tu una basılarak ana menuye girilir. (2) Info tu una basarak, cihazla ilgili yazılım versiyon bilgilerine ula ılabilir. 2.2 Ayarlar Cihazla ilgili system ayarlarına ula ılabilmeye izin verir.. 2.2.1 Kurulum Bu menu, genel ayarlar, anten / arama ayarları ile TP yönetimi menulerine girmeyi sa lar. 2.2.1.1 Genel Ayarlar OSD, ses ve altyazı dilleri ile zaman dilimi ayarlarını kapsar ( ekil 7 ) 2.2.1.2 OSD Dili stenen menu lisanı seçilebilir. 2.2.1.3 Ses Dili Uygun olan yayınlarda, farklı lisanlardaki sesler arasından seçim yapılabilmesini sa lar. 2.2.1.4 Altyazı Dili Uygun olan yayınlarda, farklı lisanlardaki altyazılar arasından seçim yapılabilmesini sa lar. 2.2.1.5 Otomatik Zaman Dilimi / Saat Dilimi Otomatik zaman diliminin, yayın üzerinden alınmasını sa lar. Bulunulan yerin, GMT ye göre saat farkının bilinmesi durumunda, Otomatik Zaman Dilimi Kapalı konuma getirilir ve saat dilimi girilir. Aksi durumda, Otomatik Zaman Dilimi Açık konuma getirilerek, sistemin kendini otomatik güncellemesi sa lanır. 2.2.2 TV Ayarları TV ayarları menusu ekil 8 de gösterilmi tir. ekil 8. TV Ayarları 2.2.2.1 TV Formatı Seyredilen programa göre, 4:3 LB, 4:3 PS, 16:9 PB veya16:9 AUTO olarak seçilebilir. 7

2.2.2.2 TV Modu Görüntü için PAL, NTSCya da OTOMAT K seçilebilir. Otomatik modunda, programın durumuna gore PAL ya da NTSC seçilir. Bu seçimin, TV ile aynı olması gerekir. 2.2.2.3 OSD Saydamlı ı En saydam konum 1 olmak üzere, OSD nin saydamlı ı ayarlanabilir. 2.2.2.4 Bilgi Görünme Süresi Bilgi barının ekranda görünme süresini ayarlar. Devamlı seçene i haricinde, ayarlanan sure sonrasında bar, kendili inden yok olacaktır. 2.2.2.5 Video Çıkı ı CVBS ya da RGB olarak resim çıkı ını ayarlar. 2.2.3 ifre Menu, kanal ya da sansür kilidi koymak için kullanılır. Fabrika ayarı ifre 6666 dır ve kullanıcı istedi i taktirde ifreyi de i tirebilir. 2.2.3.1 Menu Kilidi Açık oldu u taktirde, menu düzeninde herhangi bir de i iklik yapılamaz. 2.2.3.2 Kanal Kilidi Açık oldu u taktirde, ayarlanmı olan kanalı kitleyecektir. Detaylı bilgi için 2.3.1.2 e bakınız. 2.2.3.3 Sansür Kilidi Bu kilit özelli inde, Tümü Engelli, Engelleme Yok ve 2.. 18 ya seçenekleri bulunmaktadır ve ebeveynlerin kontrolu içindir. Bu özellik, ancak yayın içerisinde bu bilgi bulundu u taktirde kullanılabilir. 2.2.3.4 ifre De i tirme ifreyi kodunu de i tirmek için bu satıra gelinerek, V+/- ve 0 ~9 tu larıyla, önce eski ifre, daha sonra 2 kez yeni ifre girilir. ifre de i ikli i gerçekle ti inde ekranda PIN kodu de i tirildi mesajı belirecek, sonrasında da OK ve EXIT tu larıyla menuden çıkılacaktır. 2.2.4 Geli mi Zamanlayıcı Kullanıcı, seyretmek istedi i programın gün ve saatini ayarlayarak, ya da elektronik program rehberini ( EPG ) kullanarak, programa geçi yapabilir. Ayarlanan tarih ve saate gelindi inde, cihaz otomatik olarak seçilen kanala geçecektir. VOL +/- ve Mute tu larının haricinde bir tu a basıldı ında, zamanlayıcı devre dı ı kalacaktır. 8

2.2.5 Fabrika Ayarı Ürün fabrikadan çıktı ı duruma döndürmek için kullanılır. Bu durumda, daha önceden yapılmı olan tüm de i iklikler silinecek ve cihaz ilk alındı ı duruma dönecektir. 2.3 TV/RADYO Cihazla TV yayınlarını izlemenin yanısıra, Radyo yayınları da dinlenebilmektedir. Liste ve EPG menuleri aynı düzendedir. 2.3.1 Liste Kullanıcı bazı i lemleri listeden yapabilir ( ekil 9 ). ekil 9. TVListesi ekil 10. TV Rehberi 2.3.1.1 Favoriler Kullanıcı istedi i kanalları CH+/- tu ları ile seçerek Favori kanal olarak tanımlayabilir. Bu kanallar 8 ayrı grup olarak da ayrılabilmektedir : haber, spor, film, müzik, alı veri, seyahat, erkek ve kız çocuk. 1 ~8 tu larına basarak favori grubu seçilebilir veya iptal edilebilir. 2.3.1.2 Kilit Kanal kilidi açık oldu u taktirde, kilitli programı seyretmek için ifre girmek gerekecektir. Kilit konumu seçildi inde, OK tu una basılarak kanal kilitlenebilir, ya da kilitli kanal açık hale getirilebilir. Daha fazla bilgi için 2.2.3.2 yi gözden geçiriniz. 2.3.1.3 Düzenle Kullanıcı, 20 karakteri a mamak artıyla, program ismini de i tirebilir. (1) VOL +/- tu larıyla düzenle menusu seçildikten sonar, CH+/- tu larıyla programın üzerine gelinir. (2) OK tu uyla program seçilir. (3) CH+/-, VOL+/-, 0 ~9, KIRMIZI ve YE L tu larıyla istenen karakterler seçilir. (4) Tekrar OK tu una basılarak önceki menuye dönülür. (5) KIRMIZI tu a basılarak de i iklik kaydı tamamlanır. 2.3.1.4 Ta ı Ta ıma seçene i, kanalları diledi iniz ekilde düzenlemenizi sa lar. 2.3.1.5 Sırala Sıralama seçene i, kanalları alfabetik olarak ( A<->Z ) ya da ifreli <-> ifresiz olarak seçerek sıralamayı sa lar. 9

2.3.1.6 Atla Bu özellikle, CH+/- tu larıyla kanallar arasında gezinirken, atlanması istenen kanalları göstermeden bir sonraki kanala geçi imkanı verir. Atlanacak kanallar OK tu uyla seçilir, aynı tu la da özellik iptal edilebilir. 2.3.1.7 Sil Bu komut, seçilen kanalı cihazdan silmek için kullanılır. OK tu uyla istenen kanallar silinebilece i gibi, YE L tu la tüm kanallar da silinebilir. Silinen kanalın ( ya da kanalların ) izlenebilmesi için, ihazda tekrar tarama yapılması gerekir. 2.3.1.8 Ara Kullanıcı, program ismini yazarak da kayıtlı olan kanalı bulabilir. (1) CH+/- ile arama moduna gelinir. (2) OK tu una basılarak alt menuye girilir. (3) CH+/-, VOL+/-, OK, 0 ~9, KIRMIZI ve YE L tu lara basarak program ismine ili kin bilgiler girilir. (4) OK tu una basılarak listeden aranan programa ula ılır. (5) YE L ve SARI tu lara basarak, aynı bilgilere haiz ba ka kanallara da ula ılabilir. Press 2.3.2 Elektronik Program Kılavuzu ( EPG ) Elektronik program kılavuzu resim 10 da gösterilmi tir. (1) lgili programa gelinerek EPG tu una basılır. (2) VOL +/- tu larıyla ilgilenilen saat ve güne gelinir. (3) OK tu una basılarak, seçilen saatteki program için daha detaylı bilgi alınır. (4) Bir önceki menuye dönmek için EXIT e basılır. (5) Seçilen program kaydetmek için KIRMIZI tu a basılarak, kayıtla ilgili gerekli bilgiler girilir. 2.4 MULTIMEDYA Multimedia, harici bir USB ünitesi ile kullanılabilir. Aksi taktirde, ekranda aygıt hazır de il! mesajı belirecektir. 2.4.1 Albümüm Bu seçenek, JPG/BMP/GIF formatındaki fotograf ve resimleri izlemenizi sa lar. MAV tu a basarak da, klasör seçeneklerine dönülebilir. 2.4.1.1 Albümüm / Resimler Klasörü Seçilen resimlere ili kin isim, ölçü, tarih,vb. bilgiler de gözlenebiliir ( ekil 11 ). CH+/-, VOL +/-, OK tu larıyla resim izlenmek istenen resim seçilir. OK tu una tekrar basılarak slayd gösterime de geçilir. 10

ekil 11.Albümüm Küçük Resimler ekil 12. Müzi im 2.4.1.2 Zoom ( Büyütme / Küçültme ) KIRMIZI tu a basarak seçilen resmin büyütülmesi veya küçültülmesi sa lanabilir. Oranlar 25%, 50%, 100%, 150% ve 200% dir. 2.4.1.3 Yön VOL +/- tu ları ile, resmin 90 derecelik açılarla döndürülmesi sa lanır. Ayrıca SARI / MAV tu larla da resim, ayna etkisi eklinde izlenebilir. 2.4.1.4 Slayt Gösterim Albümüm seçene inde OK tu una basarak, Küçük Resimler konumuna gelinir. Slayt gösterimin ba layaca ı resim seçilerek tekrar OK tu una basılır. Slaytın ba laması için tekrar OK ye basılır. KIRMIZI tu a basılarak slayt durdurulabilir. YE L tu a basılarak, slayt gösterim esnasında fonda dinlenmesi istenen müzik seçilebilir. SARI tu ile, slayt gösterimin 1 kez yada sürekli olması seçilir. Slayt gösterimin hızı MAV tu la ayarlanabilir. 2.4.2 Müzi im Bu seçenekte, MP3/WMA formatta kaydedilmi olan sesler ve arkılar dinlenebilir. Çalma esnasında, ekranda bir spectrumun yanısıra, geçen ve toplam süre de görülebilmektedir ( ekil 12 ). Bu seçenekte INFO tu u ile, ba lı bulunan USB ye ait bilgiler görülebilir. CH+/-, VOL +/-, OK tu ları ile istenen dizin ve müzik seçilir ve OK tu uyla ba latılır. KIRMIZI tu la duraklatma / oynatma yapılabilir. YE L tu la durdurma, SARI tu la sürekli oynatma, MAV tu la da hız de i tirme sa lanır.. Çalma esnasında, ses iddeti VOL+/- ve MUTE tu uyla de i tirilebilir. 11

2.4.3 Filmim Bu seçenek, pek çok MPEG2/4 datayı oynatabilmektedir. Oynatma esnasında, ekranın sol üst kö esinde, oynatılan verinin adı, toplam ve geçen süre, vb. bilgiler bulunur. CH+/-, VOL +/-, OK tu ları ile istenen film seçilir ve OK tu uyla ba latılır. KIRMIZI tu la duraklatma / oynatma yapılabilir. YE L tu la, her bir enstantane tek tek izlenebilir. SARI tu la geri sarma yönünde, MAV tu la da ileri sarma yönünde hız de i tirilebilir. Seçenekler ise x2, x4, x8, x16, x32 normal hızdır. 2.4.4. Kaydedicim Bu seçenekte, kaydedilmi olan programlar görülece i gibi, kayıt öncesi seçenekler ayarlanabilmektedir ( ekil 13 ). Sistem FAT ve FAT 32 yi destekler. Kayıt listesinden, kayıtlı olanlar görülece i gibi, silme i lemi de yapılabilir ( ekil 14 ). Kayıt aygıtı bölümünde, USB ye ili kin bilgi ve i lemler ( biçimlendirme, doluluk oranı, vb. ) bulunmaktadır. Kayıt tercihlerinde ise, zaman kaydırma boyutu ve durumu, tek tu la kayıt ve kayıt periyodu seçeneklerine ula ılmaktadır. Zaman kaydırma boyutu otomatik olarak hesaplanmı tır ve de i tirilemez. Zaman Kaydırma ( Time Shift ) : Bu opsiyonda otomatik, duraklat ve kapalı seçenekleri bulunur. Otomatik modunda, zaman kaydırma i lemi program ba ladı ında otomatik olarak gerçekle tirilir. Duraklat modunda, zaman kaydırma i lemi, kullanıcı PAUSE tu una bastı ında ba layacaktır. Kapalı seçene inde ise, zaman kaydırma yapılmayacaktır. Tek Tu la Kayıt : Bu seçenek AÇIK yapıldı ında, RECORD tu una basıldı ı anda kayıt otomatik olarak ba layacaktır. Seçene in KAPALI olması durumunda ise, kayıtın gerçekle tirilmesi, ancak TV listesine gelinerek gerçekle tirilebilecektir. Bu menu içerisinde CH+/- ve VOL +/- tu ları ile geçi yapılır, OK ile seçilir ve EXIT ile çıkılır. KIRMIZI / YE L / SARI / MAV tu ları ile menu içerindeki bazı özel fonksiyonlara ula mak mümkündür. NOT : ZAMAN KAYDIRMA / KAYIT / OYNATMA fonksiyonların sa lıklı çalı ması için, USB 2.0 kullanılması önerilir. NOT : Kullanılacak USB ye cihaz üzerinden biçimlendirme yapılabilmektedir. Ancak biçimlendirme sonrasında, daha önceden USB de bulunan tüm bilgilerin silinece i unutulmamalıdır. 12

Program Bilgisi 3.1 Bilgi INFO tu una basıldı ında ekranda yeni bir menu açılır ve program no ve adı, favori seçimi, saat, imdiki ve sonraki program bilgileri ile altyazı ve teletext bilgileri belirir ( ekil 16 ). Tekrar INFO tu una basıldı ında ise, uydu kanal bilgilerine ula ılır ( uydu adı, frekans, polarizasyon, vb.). Tekrar INFO ya basıldı ında, bilgi menusu kaybolacaktır. 3.2 Kanal De i tirme Kanal de i tirme i lemi CH +/- tu ları ile yapılabildi i gibi, direct olarak 0 ~9 tu ları kullanılarak da gerçekle tirilebilir. Girilen kanal numarası mevcut de il ise, cihaz en son kanalda durmaya devam edecektir. RECALL tu u ile de bir önceki programa dönülebilir. 3.3 Ses Ses iddetinin ayarlanması VOL+/- tu ları ile sa lanır. Tamamen sessiz duruma almak için MUTE tu una basılır. 3.4 Program Listesi OK tu una basıldı ında, cihazda kayıtlı olan programlara ait liste, program no.su, ismi, durumu, vb. bilgilerle birlikte ekranda görünür. 3.5 Ses AUDIO tu una basarak ses menusune girilir ( ekil 17 ). Bu menuden, LR ( stereo ), LL ( sol ) ya da RR ( sa ) ses seçilebilir. Ses ile ilgili lisan seçimi ise, Ayarlar -> Kurulum -> Genel Ayarlar -> Ses Dili menusunden yapılmaktadır. 3.6 Durdurma Kumanda üzerindeki PAUSE tu undan resim dondurulabilir. 3.7 Favoriler Favori belirlenen programlar 8 ayrı grupta toplanabilir. Bununla ilgili detaylı bilgi 2.3.1.1 de verilmi tir. Program Listesi seçili iken SARI ve 1 ~8 tu ları ile favori gruplara ili kin kanallar kaydedilebilir. 3.8 Teletext Teletext sayfa düzeni, servis sa layıcıdan gelen bilgiye göre, kanaldan kanala de i iklik gösterebilir. Kumanda üzerindeki TEXT tu una basılır ( ekil 18 ). CH +/- tu ları ile teletext açılarak lisan seçilir. 0 ~9 numara tu ları ile istenen sayfaya gidilir. EXIT tu u ile teletext den çıkılır. 3.9 Altyazı Yayın altyazıları, servis sa layıcıdan gelen bilgiye göre, kanaldan kanala de i iklik gösterebilir. (5) Press <OK> button to enter General Setting page. (6) Press <Up/Down> button to select the language option. (7) Press <Left/Right> button to set a language. 1.2 How to receive the programs? Scan the satellites to receive the programs. 1.2.1 Satellite configuration Satellite configuration and manager is in Main Menu->Setup->Installation->MY DISH menu. Firstly, select the proper switcher according to the switcher you have, as Figure 1. For sample switcher, each branch is connected with a satellite, user can configuration it as Figure 2. Toneburst: enable or disable toneburst switcher. move down to the satellite selection area, and press OK key to add the proper satellite, as Figure 2. LNB Type: select the LNB type according to your dish. LNB Low Freq: set the low frequency of LNB. LNB High Freq: set the high frequency of LNB if it is universal. 5

2.Menu Operations Once the channel scan is finished and all the channels are stored into the database, you can start to watch the digital TV channel or listen to the radio broadcast, some typical operations are given in this chapter. 2.1 Main Menu Main Menu for operating a lot of functions. (1) Press <Menu> button to enter Main Menu. (2) Press <Info> button to display the version information of STB. 2.2 SETUP Set the system settings of STB. 2.2.1Installation Installation menu include General Setting, MY DISH and TP MANAGER. 2.2.1.1 General Setting Set the receiving and playing program settings of STB, as Figure 7. 2.2.1.2 OSD Language Set the On Screen Display Language. 2.2.1.3 Audio Language Set the audio language for watching program. 2.2.1.4 Subtitle Language Set the language for displaying subtitle. 2.2.1.5 Auto Time Zone / Time Zone Allow you to enable or disable auto time zone offset update. If you know the GMT(Greenwich Mean Time) time zone off set of your location, set the Auto Time Zone to OFF and select an appropriate Time Zone, otherwise set it to ON and let the system update the time zone automatically according to the transport stream. 2.2.2 TV Setup Setup the display mode for TV. See Figure 8. Figure 8. TV Setup 2.2.2.1 TV Format Set display format for watching program, such as 4:3LB, 4:3PS, 16:9PB,16:9AUTO. 4:3LB(LetterBox): Typically for wide screen content displays on conventional 4:3 TV with black bars above and below the picture. 7

4:3PS(PanScan): Typically for wide screen content displays on conventional 4:3 TV with left and right edges cropped. 16:9PB(PillarBox)/16:9 AUTO: Typically for wide screen 16:9 TV. 2.2.2.2 TV Mode Set PAL, NTSC or AUTO for display. AUTO will switch PAL or NTSC by program content. This setting should be matched with user's TV. 2.2.2.3 OSD Transparency Set the On Screen Display transparency. 1 is the most transparent. 2.2.2.4 Banner Display Time Set Banner displays time. Banner doesn't disappear when set as Always and disappears at timeout when set as other values. 2.2.2.5 Video Output Set the video output mode to TV. 2.2.3 Password Set password for menu lock or channel lock or censorship lock. And the user can change password here, the default PIN Code is 6666. 2.2.3.1 Menu Lock Lock the menus by password. 2.2.3.2 Channel Lock Lock the channel which has been set to lock status when turning on the Channel Lock. Please see section 2.3.1.2 for details. 2.2.3.3 Censorship Lock Lock the program by password and censorship threshold. The censorship info is in program content. Under the censorship rating, user has to enter the right password for watching program. 2.2.3.4 Change Password To change the PIN code, select this option, press <Left/Right> button to trigger changing password and <0~9> buttons to enter old password, new password and confirm new password. If succeed, the PIN Code Changed message will be displayed, otherwise the PIN Code Error message will be displayed. 2.2.4 Advance Timer User can set timer for watching the program by date and time manually or from the TV/Radio Guide(see section 2.3.2). When setting date and start time is arrived, STB will automatically switch to the wanted program. Press any key except <Vol-/Vol+/Mute> button, STB asks user to abort it or not when watching booked program. User can delete the event while it isn't at running. 8

2.2.5 Set Default Restore STB to factory default. All settings did by user will be restored to factory default values and the database will be erased together. 2.3 TV/RADIO There are two types of program: TV and Radio. The operation of the List and Guide of TV and Radio are almost the same. Herein take TV as example. 2.3.1 List User can operate some functions in List. See Figure9. Figure 9. TV List Figure 10. Guide - Event 2.3.1.1 Favorites User can quickly channel up/down the favorite programs by favorite filter. There are 8 groups of favorite for user setting: News, Sport, Movie, Music, Shopping, Travel, Boy and Girl. Press <1~8> button to set or clear the favorite group when Favorites option selected. 2.3.1.2 Lock Lock will ask password before watching this program when SETUP -> Password -> Channel Lock is turned on. Please see section 2.2.3.2 for details. Press <OK> button to set or clear lock status when Lock option selected. 2.3.1.3 Edit User can edit the program name, maximum length is 20 characters. (1) Press <Left/Right> button to select Edit option and <Up/Down> button to select the program. (2) Press <OK> button to display program info and press it again to edit program name. (3) Press <Up/Down/Left/Right/0~9/RED/GREEN> button to select the character. (4) Press <OK> button to finish the editing and return to previous program info page. (5) Press <RED> button to save the editing and return to List or press <Exit> button to return to List without saving. 2.3.1.4 Move Move will allow you move the position of the channels in the list. 2.3.1.5 Sort Sort will allow you sort the channels by A<->Z or Pay<->Free. 9

2.3.1.6 Skip Skip will skip the program when changing program by CH+/-. Press <OK> button to set or clear skip status when Skip option selected. 2.3.1.7 Delete Delete will delete the program permanently from database. User must rescan to recover it. Press <OK/GREEN> button to set delete one or delete all when Delete option selected. 2.3.1.8 Search User can search the program name by partial keyword. (1) Press <Left/Right> button to select Search option. (2) Press <OK> button to entry search page. (3) Press <Up/Down/Left/Right/OK/0~9/RED/GREEN> button to input keyword. (4) Press <OK> button to Search and return List. The matched program will be focused. (5) Press <GREEN/YELLOW> button to the next or previous matched program. 2.3.2 Guide Guide is also naming EPG (Electronic Program Guide). See Figure 10. (1) Press <Up/Down> button to select program or EPG event. (2) Press <Left/Right> button to change event or date. (3) Press <OK> button to exit all the menus or show the detail information of selected event. (4) Press <Exit> button to exit to previous menu. (5) Press <RED> button to enter Book page and <YELLOW> button to save after edited. If it conflict with itself or other event, a conflict message will be displayed. The successful booking will be added to Main Menu-> SETUP->Advance Timer (see section 2.2.4). 2.4 MULTIMEDIA Multimedia must be used with external USB device inserted, otherwise the "Device is not ready!" Message will be displayed. 2.4.1 My Album My Album can display JPG/BMP/GIF photos and operate it. If there are photos in device root folder, it will start at Thumbnail mode, otherwise it will start at Folder mode. Press <BLUE> button can switch to Folder mode and <Exit> button to Thumbnail mode again. 2.4.1.1 Thumbnail/Folder The info (Width X Height and Date) of selected photo will be displayed at the left bottom in Thumbnail mode and right up in Folder mode. See Figure11. Press <Up/Down/Left/Right/OK> button to browse folders or files. Press <OK> button to view the selected photo and press again to start slide show. Press <Info> button to see the help information when view or slide show. 10

If zoom factor greater than 100%, press <Up/Down/Left /Right> button can move around the photo. 2.4.1.3 Rotation Press <Left/Right> button to rotate left or right and <YELLOW/BLUE> button to flip horizontal or vertical in view mode. After rotating or flipping the photo and return Thumbnail mode, the effect will be keeped. 2.4.1.4 Slide Show Press <OK> button to view the photo from Thumbnail or Folder mode and press it again to start the slide show. Press <RED> button to play or pause the slide show. Press <GREEN> button to set music playing at background when slide show. Press <YELLOW> button to set repeating or once. Press <BLUE> button to set the time interval between current and next photo. Press <Up/Down> button to next or previous photo right away. 2.4.2 My Music My Music can play most of MP3/WMA files. It displays progress bar, audio spectrum, current playing time and total time while playing. See Figure 12. Press <Info> button to select device if an external USB hub connected. Press <Up/Down/Left/Right/OK> button to browse folders and files. Press <OK> button to start play. Press <RED> button to play or pause. Press <GREEN> button to stop. Press <YELLOW> button to set play mode as Repeat All, Repeating, Random, repeat Off. Press <BLUE> button to set fast forward speed as x2,x3,x4,normal. Press <Left/Right/Mute> button to adjust volume while playing. 11

2.4.3 My Movie My Movie can play most of MPEG2/4 files. It displays the played file name at the top left corner, and use the info key to get the current playing time and total time information while playing. Press <Info> button to select device if an external USB hub connected while browsing, and to show the control info bar while playing. Press <Up/Down/Left/Right/OK> to select folders and files during browsing, and to switch next/previous file or adjust the volume while playing. Press <OK> button to select a file to play. Press <RED> button to play or pause while playing. Press <GREEN> button to play the frame one by one while playing. Press <YELLOW> button to set fast backward speed as x2, x4, x8, x16, x32, Normal. Press <BLUE> button to set fast forward speed as x2, x4, x8, x16, x32, Normal. 2.4.4. My Record My Record make user can view the program that has been recorded, or configure the options for recording. Please notice that the File System supported is FAT and FAT32. In Recorded List menu, user can view or delete the recorded program. In Recording Device menu, user can select different storage media or different partition in one storage media for recording. In Recording Preference menu, user can change the mode of Time Shift, One Button Recording, and the length of default recording period. Please notice that Time Shift Size is calculated automatically according to the current storage media or current partition, it can't be modified. Time Shift: Auto: this option will start Time Shift recording automatically for program being viewed. Pause: this option will start Time Shift recording only after PAUSE key is pressed by user. OFF: this option will disable Time Shift recording. One Button Recording: ON: this option will start recording the program being viewed directly after RECORD key is pressed. OFF: this option will enable user to pre-set the length of recording after RECORD key is pressed. Press <Up/Down/Left/Right> for navigation in the menu. Press <OK> to select or modification confirm. Press <EXIT> to exit the current menu. Press <RED/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE> for special function indicated in the menu. NOTE: For usility of TIMESHIFT/RECORDING/PLAYBACK function, USB2.0 storage device is needed basicly. We strongly recommend user to use USB2.0 HDD, and use independent partition for PVR. Before using the partition, please format the partition through the set-top-box. NOTE: FORMAT operation will delete all the files in the disk or the current partition, so please backup the files before FORMAT operation. 12

Figure 13. My Record Figure 14. Recorded List 2.5 ACCESSORY There are three options: Gomoku, Calendar, Calculator. Gomoku Press <Up/Down/Left/Right> button to set play mode and difficulty. Press <OK> button to start play Gomoku. Press <Up/Down/Left/Right> button to select the position. Press <OK> button to place the piece. Calendar displays the year, month, and date. Calculator can used for mathematical calculations. 13

Banner displays the program No., favorite setting, current time, program name, now and next event, lock, scramble, subtitle and teletext info. Press <Info> button when banner exist to display detail info of now event. Press <Info> button when detail exist to display current program info. See Figure16. 3.2 Switch Program User can switch program by CH+/- or input program number directly. If the input program number doesn't exist, STB will ignore the input. Or press <Recall> button to switch to last watching program from current watching program. 3.3 Volume Press <Vol-/Vol+> button to adjust the volume. Press <Mute> button to mute. If adjust the volume while mute, mute will be canceled. 3.4 Program List Press <OK> button to display Program List with No., name and lock/scramble/skip status. 3.5 Audio Switch the sound channel and switch sound mode to LR(stereo) or LL(left) or RR(right). If setting audio language at SETUP->Installation->Audio Language, the audio channel default language will be chosen by setting. See Figure 17. Press <Audio> button to display the audio channel page. Press <Up/Down> button to select Channel/ Audio PID or Sound Mode option. Press <Left/Right> button to set the value. 3.6 Pause Pause video and audio. But it will be canceled by any input. 3.7 Favorites User can switch the favorite programs in the same favorite group. About favorites setting, see section 2.3.1.1 for details. Press <YELLOW> button to switch the favorite group in Program list. Press <CH +/-> button to switch the same favorite program in normal play mode. 3.8 Teletext Display teletext on screen, the style of teletext may be different by content provider. See Figure 18. Press <Text> button to display the teletext setting page. Press <Up/Down> button to select the teletext language if the program has teletext. Press <OK/Exit> button to exit the teletext setting page. 3.10 Teletext Subtitle Display subtitle by teletext, the style of the teletext subtitle may be different by content provider. Press <Text/Subtitle> button to display teletext or subtitle setting page. Press <Left/Right> button to select "TTX Subtitle". Press <Up/Down> button to select teletext subtitle language. Press <OK/Exit> button to exit the setting page. 3.11 Guide Press <GUIDE> button at normal play state, see section 2.3.2 for details. 3.12 List Press <GREEN> button at normal play state, see section 2.3.1 for details. 3.13 Message There are some messages to inform user the current status of the STB. 3.13.1 No Signal STB can't get signal, for example, cable is disconnected. 3.13.2 No Service Program doesn't have any content to play. 3.13.3 Service Scrambled Program is scrambled for payment, you need contact with the content provider to know how to descramble it. 3.13.4 HDTV Not Support If the program content is HDTV format, this STB doesn't support it. 3.13.5 Channel Locked Program is locked by setting lock (see section2.3.1.2 ) and turning on channel lock in password setting (see section2.2.3.2). User must input correct password to watch program. 16
