Position acdmx1 2 Unpaid Marketing acdmx2 4 Unpaid Public Relations and Marketing, Gallery & Design, DEVELOPMENT and COMMUNICATIONS, Outreach In a marketing internship, the intern will become familiarized with various aspects of marketing. He or she will learn the administrative divisions of the organization, work with organizational databases, assist with public outreach, and perform tasks related to product design. As a final phase to the internship, after shadowing staff members for the first two phases, he or she will design a unique project, which could take the form of creating a commercial or organizing a public event, such as a gallery opening or a fundraising event. acdmx3 3 Paid IT acdmx4 1 Unpaid Architecture and Planning acdmx5 2 Paid Engineering In an IT internship, the intern will first be introduced to different parts of the IT industry (IT project development, Web & Multimedia and Client Services, Marketing Team, etc.), and will then take a greater role in each of these sections. Later phases will include the implementation of a business model, advanced training in marketing, and advanced project training, which includes higher levels of web design. In an architecture internship, the intern will first become familiarized with the basics of design, as well as American business culture and environmental considerations. He or she will then learn the specifics of American modern environmental architecture. Finally, he or she will put these skills together to create his or her own project. He or she will become familiar with all related methodologies, techniques, technology, and software and planning to complete the projects. Become familiar with American business culture, environmental policy and guidelines, community of environmental architects and latest modern architectural style, methods and design used in the U.S. In an engineering internship, the intern will gain knowledge of on-going projects, implementation of each phase of the project; understanding of the organization s customers' needs. Become familiar with the US IT security market and needs (with a focus on security for embedded devices). Specific skills will include project development and functional testing, consumer relations, researchanalytical skills, customer-oriented marketing, communication skills, and knowledge of American embedded security market. He or she will also learn business model techniques and will construct his or her own project.
acdmx6 2 Unpaid Media/Journalism In a media/broadcasting internship, the intern will be introduced to various aspects of TV broadcasting. He or she will learn about marketing and PR as related to the media industry, and also about editing and other skills necessary to produce television shows. He or she will conduct financial research into individual nations economies, capital market research and individual sector examinations. He or she will do PR with interviewees, attending financial events at official venues, conferences, seminars, embassy receptions strategically significant in the Washington metropolitan area for TV viewing; design and development of program content; including computer graphics, backgrounds and preparing questions for interviewing guests for the program; all aspects of marketing, PR and promotions, mass media relations, computing and database entries as well as general administration related to programming. acdmx7 1 Unpaid Media/Journalism As above acdmx8 1 Unpaid Finance/Economics In a finance/venture capital internship, the intern will participate in various business and venture capital development projects and fundraising activities. He or she will gain practical knowledge and skills in business venture capital management, and will report findings and questions to colleagues and receive their feedback. He or she will enhance his or her negotiation skills working with American business ventures and entrepreneurs, complete routine tasks that require effective communication and coordination of project activities.

He or she will perform telephone and personal interviews with Washington officials, and conduct project/program administration and editorial work. acdmx10 2 Unpaid Accounting Similar to finance internship acdmx11 1 Unpaid Business and Research In a business and research internship, the intern will receive hands on training in American business culture and practices; learn about on-going projects and business developments. Interns will improve project administration skills, research skills; improve researchanalytical skills through analyzing industry for a business proposal.
