Biga yarım adası olarak bilinen coğrafi bölgenin güney batısındaki Kuzey Ege bölümünde yer alan Edremit Körfezinden iki adet tali göç yolu geçmektedir. Bu göç yolları; kuzey doğu istikametinden, Marmara üzerinden Karacabey, Uluabat, Manyas Kuş Cenneti ve GönenTahirova üzerinden Kara Dere, Balya, İvrindi yönünden Havran a ulaşmaktadır. Diğer tali kol ise, Batı Trakya üzerinden, Meriç Nehri, Gala gölü istikametinden ÇanakkaleEzineAyvacık doğrultusunda güney istikametinde Kuzey Ege den geçmektedir. Bu göç yoluna güney ve batı Marmara da ki habitatlarda bulunan kuşlarda dahil olmaktadır. Kuş hareketlilikleri bütün bir yıla yayılmakla birlikte, göç hareketi sonbahar, kış ve ilkbahar aylarında gerçekleşmektedir. / Biga peninsula, known as the geographical region located in the southwest of the Gulf of Edremit, has two secondary migration roads. This migration routes; from the northeast direction, over the Marmara reach Karacabey, Ulubat, Manyas Bird Heaven and over Gonen Tahirova reach from the Kara Dere, Balya, İvrindi ways reach Havran. The other secondary arm, over Western Thrace, from the Meric River, Gala Lakes ways, over CanakkaleEzineAyvacik, past North Aegean. The birds that live South and West Marmara join this migration way. Althouh birds movements spread all year, the migration happens in the autumn, winter and spring months.
