Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a normative document, published by the International Association for Research and Testing in the field of Textile Ecology (OEKO-TEX ). If there is a discrepancy in interpretation of the two languages in this document, then the German (or English) language has priority. Supplements to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 specify requirments for complex specific article groups, which have differing requirements depending on their construction, technology or conditions of use. This Supplement defines the special conditions for granting authorisation to mark special articles as shown in Appendix No. 2 of the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 main document. 2 Uygulanabilirlik Applicability Bu ek, büyük oranda tekstil olmayan malzeme içerip Oeko-Tex Standard 100'e göre test edilemeyen ve sertifikalandırılamayan ürünler üzerinde uygulanabilirdir. This Supplement is applicable to special articles containing a large proportion of non-textile materals which cannot be tested or certified under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. The prerequisite is generally that there are significant textile components in the finished product. Some exceptions, e.g. for shower curtains, are possible. In principle, however, it is up to the institute to refuse a certification request. It applies only to the finished product when it is ready for sale. This supplement is not applicable to chemicals, auxiliaries or dyes. 3 Tanımlar Definitions Oeko-Tex Standard 100 altında özel ürün gruplarına dahil olan terimler ilerleyen açıklamalarda belirtilmiştir. A tent is a structure which is easy to dismantle and transport and generally comprises an outer tent and, in some cases, an inner tent, a floor and other textile and non-textile components. 3.2 Perde setleri vs. Curtain kits etc. Bir perde seti bir hazır perde ile duvara ya da tavana tutturulması için gerekli bileşenleri içerir. A curtain kit generally consists of a ready-made curtain and the fixing and assembly materials required to attach it to a wall or ceiling.
5 OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Özel ürünler 3.3 Stor perdeler Roller blinds Bir stor perde gizliğin sağlanması ve gün ışığından korunmaya yarayan pencereler ve bazı (içdış) kapılar için kullanılabilen, sarımlı ya da katlanan bir tekstil malzemesinden oluşan bir çeşit paravandır. A roller blind is a type of screen for windows and glazed doors (interior and exterior), providing privacy and protection from sunlight and consisting of rolled or folded textile material. 3.4 Sandalyeler ve kanepeler Chairs and couches Sandalye ya da kanepe kişinin oturmasına ya da uzanmasına yarayan bir mobilyadır. Sert bir iskelet yapısına ilaveten döşemelik, dekoratif ya da diğer amaçlı kumaş, plastik parça vs gibi bileşenlerden oluşmaktadır. Sandalye ve kanepeler iç ya da dış kullanım amaçlı olabilir. A chair or couch is a piece of furniture on which a person can sit or lie down. In addition to the solid structural components, they often also comprise upholstery, furnishing, decorative or other covering fabrics, plastic parts and other features. Chairs and couches can be used both indoors and outdoors. 3.5 Bebek arabası ve pusetler Push-chairs, buggies, prams Puset ya da bebek arabası, bebek ve küçük çocukların içinde oturabildiği, uzanabildiği ya da uyuyabildiği hareket eden taşınabilir araçlardır. A push-chair/buggy/pram is a mobile means of transport or item in which infants and toddlers can sit or lie down/sleep. 3.6 Bavullar, çantalar ve sırt çantaları Suitcases, bags, rucksacks Bavullar, çantalar ve sırt çantaları tekstil ürünlerini ya da diğer ürünleri taşıyan kaplardır. Suitcases, bags and rucksacks are containers for carrying textiles and other items. 3.7 Takı ve saatler Jewellery and watches Takı ve saatler genellikle vücut ile temas halinde kullanılır ve önemli oranda tekstil malzemesi (saat kayışları vs ) içermektedir. Jewellery and watches are often worn next to the skin and may contain a significant proportion of textile materials (watch straps etc.). 3.8 Elektrikli battaniyeler, yastıklar ve diğer ısıtılabilir tekstil ürünleri Elektrikli yastık, battaniye ya da diğer tekstil ürünleri elektrikle kontrol edilerek sıcaklık sağlayan ve vücut ile yakın temasta olan ürünlerdir. Heated pillows/blankets and other textiles which can be heated Heated pillows and blankets and other textiles which can be heated are electrically operated heat sources providing continuous warmth in close contact with the body. 3.9 Başlıklar Helmets Başlık (örn. Motorsiklet kaskı, bisiklet kaskı, çocuk kaskı, endüstriyel- inşaat bareti) herhangi bir mekanik etkiye karşı kafatasını korumak amaçlı kullanılmaktadır. A helmet (e.g. motor-cycle helmets bike helmets, sport helmets, children s helmets, industrial hard hats for use in industry and on building sites) is a robust item of headgear providing protection from mechanical impact. 3.10 Şemsiyeler ve gölgelikler Umbrellas and sunshades Bir şemsiye yağmurdan ya da güçlü güneş ışığından korunmak amacıyla kullanılan bir çerçeve ve etrafında sarılı kumaş içermektedir. An umbrella consists of fabric stretched over a framework and is used to provide protection from rain or strong sunlight.
6 OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Özel ürünler 3.11 Bilekten nabız ve tansiyon ölçüm aletleri Bu ölçüm araçları spor ya da sağlık alanlarında fiziksel durumu gözlemlemek amacıyla kullanılırlar. Pulse and blood pressure measuring devices with cuffs These measuring devices are used to measure physical charateristics in the field of healthcare and sport. 3.12 Oyuncaklar Toys Oyuncak 14 yaş altı çocukların kullanımı amaçlı tasarlanmış nesnedir. A toy is an object that is designed or obviously intended for use in play by children up to the age of 14 years. 3.13 Ortopedik ürünler (bandajlar ve ortotikler) Ortotik; uzuvları ya da vücudu dengeleyen, rahatlatan, sabitleyen, yönlendiren veya düzelten tıbbi yardım araçlarıdır ve normal koşullarda doktor reçetesi ile kullanılır. Orthopaedic articles (bandages and orthotics) An orthotic is a medical aid, which is stabilizing, relieving, immobilizing, guiding or correcting extremitites or the body and is used under normal circumstances on prescription of a medical doctor. 3.14 Kişisel koruma ekipmanları (KKE) Personal protective equipment (PPE) Kişisel Koruyucu Ekipman (KKE) koruyucu giysi ya da diğer koruma amaçlı elbiseleri belirtir, giyen kişinin vücudunu yaralanma ya da enfeksiyondan korumak için tasarlanmıştır. Tehlikeler elektrik, sıcaklık, kimyasal, biyolojik ya da havadan gelen partiküller kaynaklı olabilir. Çalışılan işe bağlı olarak iş güvenliği ve sağlık amaçlı da kullanılabilir. 4 Koşullar Conditions İlerleyen bölümlerde özel olarak düzenlenmemiş tüm bileşenler yasal gerekliliklerin gerektirdiklerini karşılamalıdır. Yasal gereklilikler ve güvenlik talimatları gibi özel yazılar daha geniş kapsamlı bağlayıcıdır, buradaki uygulamanın doğruluğundan emin olmak uygulayıcının sorumluluğundadır, gerekli durumlarda testleri AB gerekliliklerine uygun hale getireceğine dair uygunluk beyanı ve taahhüt vermelidir. Oeko-Tex sertifikasyon ve test sürecine sunulabilmek için gerekli numuneler, sertifikalar, doğru bilgiler içeren broşürlerin uygunluğu Oeko-Tex Enstitüsü tarafından kontrol edilmelidir. Vücudu delen özel ürünler için test ya da sertifikasyon yapmak mümkün değildir. 4.1 Çadırlar Tents Bir çadırın (İçi, dışı, zemini, bağcıkları, dolgu malzemeleri vs.) tüm tekstil bileşenleri ile tekstil olmayan aksesuarları ( plastik parçalar, fermuar- Personal protective equipment (PPE) refers to protective clothing, or other garments designed to protect the wearer's body from injury or infection. The hazards addressed by protective equipment include physical, electrical, heat, chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particulate matter. Protective equipment may be worn for job-related or comparable occupational safety and health purposes. All components which are not specifically regulated in the following sections must comply with legal requirements. Where the special article has to comply with more far-reaching, legal requirements or safety considerations, it is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that they have sufficient infomation about this, guarantee compliance and, if necessary, carry out the necessary certification processes or EU type testing. Checking whether the necessary evidence, certificates, correct information brochures etc. are all available and have been presened does not constitute part of the Oeko-Tex certification and testing process carried out by the Oeko-Tex Institute. It is not possible to test or certificate special articles which pierce the body. All the textile components and nontextile accessories (plastic parts, zip fasteners etc.) of any part of a tent (outer tent, inner tent, floor, laces,

There are no special requirements for curtain tracks, fixing- and weight rods etc. 4.3 Stor perdeler Roller blinds Bir stor perdenin tüm tekstil bileşenleri ve bunları birbirine bağlayan yapısal parçalar, örneğin çekme mekanizması ya da tam olarak tekstilden oluşmayan bileşenleri en azından Grup IV'nin gerekliliklerini karşılamalıdır. There are no special requirements for the other components of the blind (structural elements, hanging and fixing devices and electric motors). 4.4 Sandalye ve kanepeler Chairs and couches Bir sandalye ya da kanepenin tüm tekstil ve tekstil olmayan ancak vücut ile temas eden ( oturma yeri, sırtı, kafa koyulacak yeri, kol koyulacak yeri, uzanma bölgesi) dolgu malzemesi de dahil olmak üzere grup II gerekliliklerini karşılamalıdır. Bebekler ve 3 yaşın altındaki küçük çocuklar için ürünler Grup I'in gerekliliklerini karşılamak zorundadır. Çerçeve ve yapısal bileşenler için gereksinim All textile and non-textile components of a chair or couch which come into contact with the body (seat, back, headrest, armrest, lying area), including the padding, must comply with at least the requirements of Product Class II. Items for babies and small children under 3 years have to meet the requirements of product class I. There are no special requirements for the frame or structural elements. 4.5 Bebek arabası ve pusetler Push chairs/ prams Bebek arabası ve pusetlerin tüm tekstil ve tekstil olmayan bileşenleri (örn. Kaplama, dolgu malzemeleri, kolları) grup I'in gerekliliklerini karşılamalıdır. Yapısal parçalar ve şasi için özel gereksinim All textile and non-textile components of a pushchair/buggy/pram (e.g. coverings, wadding, padding, handles) have to meet the requirements of product class I. There are no special requirements for the chassis or structural parts.

Articles for babies and toddlers must comply with the requirements for Product Class I. 4.8 Elektrikli battaniyeler, yastıklar ve diğer ısıtılabilir tekstil ürünleri Bir elektrikli battaniye/yastığın tüm tekstil ve tekstil olmayan bileşenleri en azından grup II'nin gereksinimlerini karşılamalıdır. There are no special requirements for the electrical fittings (power supply, batteries, wiring, switches etc.). 4.9 Başlıklar Helmets Bir başlığın vücut ile temas eden tüm tekstil ve tekstil olmayan bileşenleri grup II'nin gerekliliklerini karşılamalıdır. Articles for babies and toddlers must comply with the requirements for Product Class I (e.g. helmets for children under 3 years of age). 4.10 Şemsiye ve gölgelikler Umbrellas and sunshades Şemsiye ve gölgeliklerin kolları da dahil olmak üzere tüm tekstil ve tekstil olmayan bileşenleri en azından Grup IV'nin gereksinimlerini karşılamalıdır. There are no special requirements for the frame or structural elements. 4.11 Bilekten nabız ve tansiyon ölçüm aletleri Ürünün deri ile temas eden tüm tekstil ve tekstil olmayan bileşenleri Grup II'nin gerekliliklerini karşılamak zorundadır. There are no special requirements for technical components (sensors, battery etc.). 4.12 Oyuncaklar Toys Bir tekstil oyuncağın tüm tekstil ve tekstil olmayan bileşenleri en azından Grup II'nin gerekliliklerini karşılamalıdır. 3 yaşın altındaki bebekler ve çocuklar için eşyalar Grup I'in gerekliliklerini karşılamalıdır. Mekanik, teknik ya da elektrik bileşenleri için özel gereklilikler yoktur ancak çocuklar tarafından ulaşılamaz olduğundan emin olunmalıdır. All textile and non-textile components of textile toys must comply with at least the requirements of Product Class II. Articles for babies and toddlers under the age of 3 must comply with the requirements for Product Class I. There are no special requirements for mechanical, technical or electrical components, but it must be ensured that these are not accessible to children. 4.13 Ortopedik ürünler (bandajlar ve ortotikler) Normal kullanım koşullarında, cilt ile direk teması olan tüm tekstil bileşenleri ve bunların yanı sıra tekstil olmayan bileşenler ürün sınıfı II nin gerekliliklerini karşılamalıdır. Cilt ile temas etmeyen metal veya plastikten oluşan tekstil olmayan bileşenler (bağlantılar veya destekleyici yapılar) için özel bir gereklilik bulunmamaktadır. Orthopaedic articles (bandages and orthotics) All textile components as well as non-textile components which have direct contact with the skin under normal conditions of use, have to meet the requirements of product class II. There are no special requirements for non-textile components from metal or plastic (joints or supporting structures) which do not come in contact with the skin. 4.14 Kişisel Koruyucu Ekipman (KKE) Personal protective equipment (PPE) Eğer KKE(Kişisel Koruyucu Ekipman) N- Metilprolidon liflerinin bükülmesi ile elde ediliyor ise üzerinde %3 kadar çözücü kalıntısı kalmasına izin verilir. Eğer NMP içeriği %0.1'den büyük ancak %3'den düşükse bu durum çoğu ülkede yasal iletişim vergisini desteklemek amacı ile sertifikada belirtilmek sureti ile sertifikalandırılır. Eğer KKE(Kişisel Koruyucu Ekipman) CI Pigment Violet 23 (CAS # 6358-30-1) liflerinin bükülmesi ile elde ediliyor ise 10.0 mg/kg 1,2- diklorobenzen içeriğine izin verilir. If the PPE consists of fibres which are spun with the help of N-Methylpyrolidon (NMP), then a residue of this solvent in the PPE of up to 3.0 % is allowed. When the content of NMP is higher than 0.1 % but lower than 3.0 % then this fact will be mentioned on the certificate to support legal communication duty in many countries. If the PPE consists of spun dyed fibres with C.I. Pigment Violet 23 (CAS # 6358-30-1) then a content of up to 10.0 mg/kg of 1,2-dichlorobenzene is allowed.
