CABIN CREW PREPARATION (During SC/C Commander Briefing) Cabin crew stop all activities Secure any equipment that is being used Wear uniform jackets. Take cabin preparation check lists Go to designated crew station standby the interphone ready for Purser's briefing. SC/C Briefs the cabin crew with I/C using the CONF Call or All Attendant function on the interphone handset. If I/C is inoperative all crew members shall come to the front galley AFTER BRIEFING SC/C sets the cabin lights to Bright While applying galley preparation cabin crew shall lock and secure all trolleys,standart unit,containers. Also the galley curtains shall be detached from its location Lavatory doors shall be locked. Commander makes an announcement to the passengers. NO SMOKING and FASTEN SEAT BELT signs switch on. Preparations start immediately. Cabin crew shall use all the time that the commander gives properly. Cabin crew go to demonstration areas. NOTE: During preparations when purser start announcements cabin crew shall listen carefully,shall not distract the attention of the passengers and wait at the demonstration areas. The Purser must monitor the time during the cabin preparation announcements. Allow time for task to be accomplished, when the allocated time is up, inform the cabin crew by announcing."cabin crew return to demonstration positions", "Finish preparations".

The captain inform me that it C/C at may shortly be necessary to make an emergency ditching. For a safe evacuation, emergency demo listen carefully to the following instructions. stations.... Put your seat upright, close your tray table, place your armrest down. Remove all sharp objects such as pens, broaches and dentures, put them in your hand luggage. Take off your shoes. Place your hand luggage and shoes under the seat in front of you as far as possible. Put on your coat and jackets. Your life vest is under your seat. Get it out, slip the vest over your head, bring the belt around your waist, fix the belt until it is tight. Do not inflate life vest in the aircraft, this will delay your evacuation. You must inflate the vest as you leave the aircraft. Inflation will be automatic, when you pull down these red handles. It may also be inflated by blowing through these tubes. Life vest has its own illumination system. The light will illuminate automatically when the battery is immersed in water.if not it may also illuminate by pulling the lanyard attached to the battery. Inflate your life vest just before leaving the aircraft. If you leave the aircraft through the overwing emergency windows,inflate the vest outside. Life vest for infants will be distributed by cabin crew.in that case put the life vest on your infant and inflate immediatelly.... Oturun ve sakin olun. Yaka ve kravatlarınızı gevşetin. Can yeleğinizi alın, başınızdan geçirin, kemerini belinize göre ayarlayıp sabitleyiniz. Hareket etmenizi engelleyeceğinden can yeleğinizi kesinlikle uçak içinde şişirmeyin. Can yeleğinizi uçağı terk ederken şişirin. Alt ucunda görülen kırmızı kolları çekince yelek şişecektir. Infants life vests distributed, on/inflated.

10.06 PREPARED EMERGENCY DITCHING CHECKLIST S.C/C ANNOUNCEMENT You must keep your seat belt fastened in this position until the aircraft comes to a complete stop. Remember that there will be more than one impact. When stopped, you will hear the command EVACUATE, go to the nearest exit and move away from the aircraft. If there are any airline employees, police officers, fire fighters or military personnel on board, please identify yourselves to a Cabin crew member. ABP INSTRUCTIONS When Does An ABP Open An Emergency Exit? 1.After the command PASSENGER EVACUATION 2...And in case the cabin crew member is incapaciated. HOW DOES AN ABP OPEN THE EMERGENCY EXIT? 1.Look outside (fire, smoke obstacles, etc.) if required block exit/redirect passenger 2.Secure yourself 3.Open emergency exit (type specific) 4.Pull manual inflation handle (if required block exit/redirect passengers) 5.Give commands for passengers 6.Assist/Rescue ınjured passengers All Items Have To Be Repeated By ABP To come to exits last. Obtain 3 ABP s for each exit. Move ABP s to exit row seats. Brief as follows; S. Last cabin safety check by S.C/C Advise Captain Cabin safe. Dim cabin lighting Check doors armed. Cabin safety check completed. Window shades opened. Flash light, first aid kits, (if available) medical kit, megaphone, ELT checked, quickly reachable. Preparation completed, notify S.C/C Go to assigned seat, fasten safety belt assembly, start silent review.

If P/A inoperative, fasten seat belt signs are flashing Cabin Crew Brace, Brace, Brace To Pax 3. If the Evacuation is necessary. Ladies and Gentlemen, This is your senior cabin crewmember speaking, Please remain seated. The cockpit crew is evaluating the situation, further information will follow within a few moments.
