Academic Cooperation and Exchange Agreement between Hacettepe University And Tokyo Women's Medical University In order t o prom ot e mutual cooperat io n and t o extend mutual understanding, Hacettepe Uni ve rsity, Ankara, Turkey and Tokyo Women's Medical University, Tokyo, Japan agree to ent er into a pr ot ocol on the following article s. 1- Hacettepe Uni ve rsity and Tokyo Wo men's Medical Un iversity agree to im plement the following items, within the extent of each universit y's regulation s and facilities. - 1) Promotion of joint research Works includ ing exchange of faculty and research members. 2) Development o f student exchange programs, double major pr ograms. 3) Exchange of academic research data and tea ching materials. 4) Cooperat io n in publication acti vities or cult ural acti vities. 5) Organization of joint academ ic confere nces. 11- As fo r exchan ge area s and each university' s facilitates and cond it io ns to be provided for joint research works; they shall be agreed and specified in the separate written pr otocol by each individual plan. 111- Thi s protocol shall be in effect for fi ve years after th e date of signature. This protocol may be complemented or amended by the written con sent of authorized representatives of both uni versit ies. After five years period of the first protocol, it ma y be extended for another fi ve years by mutual con sent. IV- Each university shall re serve th e right to te rminate th e protocol by six months, notice of such int ent io n to the other party. Madde 7-Hacett epe Universitesi'nden Tokyo Women's Medical University'ye degisim ogrencisi olarak gidecek bgrenciler icin sartlar ve kosull ar: a) TWMU ev sahibi, Hacettepe Oniversitesi misafir kurumdur. b) TWMU, her yil Hacettepe Oniver sitesi tarafindan secilen iki TIp Fakultesi 5. siruf ogrencisini degisim bgrenci olarak kabul ede cektir. c) Degisirn ogr encileri en fazla 2 ay kalabilirler. TWMU her ogrenciye bir seferliglne 70,000 jpyburs saglayacaktir. d) Degisim ogrencileri iletisirn kurabilecek duzeyde ingilizce veya Japonca bilmelidirler. Oil bilgisi seviyesi misafir kurum tarafindan belirlenecektir. e) Degisim ogrencileri sadece guz ve bahar egitim donernindeki secmeli stajlan icin TWMU'ye gidebilirler. f) TWMU degisirn ogrencilerine 1 aya kadar yurtlarda ucretsiz konaklama imkaru saglayacaktir. g) TWMU, degisim ogrencilertnden bu egitsel dersler/ kurslar icin ucret talep etmeyecek ve bu egitim: iyi niyet ve akademik isbirligi anlayisi kapsarninda gerc eklestirecektir. h) TWMU sadece derslerejkurslara degisim ogrencisinin katilmasma irnkan sagl anmasindan sorumlu olacaktir. i) Degisirn ogrencilerinin [aponya'da kaldiklari sureyi kapsayan bir uluslararasi saglik sigortasi olmalidrr. j) Ogrenciler ev sahibi kurumda kayit iicreti ve harclardan rnuaftir. k) TWMU, ogrencileri notlandirrnak icin "Hacettep e Oniversitesi Degerleridirme Forrnu " nu dolduracaknr. Th e proficien cy of English level will be determin ed by th e home institution. e) It is appropriate for students to co me du ring acad emic yea r only. fj Hacettepe Univers ity accepts to provide with free accom mo datio n in th e s tudent do rm ito ries w ithin th e scope of its regul ation g} Hacettep e Univers ity w ill not ask for any mon ey for t he educatio na l classes/courses and will pr ovid e this ed ucat io n bas ed on th e understandin g of go od will a nd academic colla bo ra tio n. h) Hacettep e University will only be r espon sible for th e ed ucat iona l clas ses/ courses. i} Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicin e would fill th e "TW MU eva luatio n form" for grading th e s tudents. In case that th e parties do not decla re th at th ey want to annu l th e protocol o ne month before the end of th e five-year period, the protoc ol s ha ll be co ns ide re d to be ren ewed. Thi s protocol hereby s ha ll be annulled wi thin 6 months up on th e w ritten declaration of one of the parti es. In th at case, on-going projects s ha ll co ntinue.
