They usually fly at 0-750 FT height and sometimes constitute risk because of their size. 2. Dönemsel Kuş Göç Hareketliliği / Seasonal Bird Migration Movement Havalimanı tali kuş göç yollarına yakın bir bölgededir ve bu tali göç yolu Havalimanının yaklaşık 5 km batısında yer alan ve kuzey-güney istikametinde akmakta olan Aksu Çayı üzerinden geçmektedir. Yıl boyu boyları 28-115 cm, ağırlıkları ise 150-4500 gr arasında değişen çeşitli kuş türleri 0-1000 ft, göç zamanlarında ise 5-5000 ft yüksekliklerde görülmektedir ve büyüklükleri nedeniyle zaman zaman risk oluşturmaktadır. Uçuş yönleri ilkbaharda güneyden kuzeye, sonbaharda ise kuzeyden güneye doğru olmaktadır. Havalimanı yakın çevresi ve pat sahalarında Mart-Ekim ayları arası yoğun olmak üzere yıl boyunca boyları 19-34 cm, ağırlıkları ise 75-300 gram arasında değişen ve zaman zaman toplam sayıları 100-1000 adet arasında olan çeşitli kuşlar 0-500 ft yükseklikte yoğun olarak bulunmaktadır ve sayılarının fazla olması nedeniyle 06:00-16:00 (UTC) saatleri arasında risk oluşturmaktadır. / The airport is close to the secondary routes of bird migration which cross over the river Aksu flowing at north to southerly direction as situated 5km away of the Airport. Varying birds having 150-4500gr weight at a lenght of 28-115cm usually fly at 0-1000FT whereas during the migration period soar up to 5000 FT constituting risk for flights. In spring birds usually fly from south to north while in autumn from north to southerly. Between March and October the bird population rises drastically. These small birds at a lenght of 19-34cm have a weight of 75-300gr. generally fly at 0-500 FT in populous flocks composed of upto 1000 birds around the vicinity of airport and close to, Apron and TWY.
