Hayat Foundation for Health and Social Services will be hosting a Symposium titled Muslim Women in the Changing World in Istanbul on July 22, 2017. Women have taken a productive and efficient role in every part of their lives within today s world that is increasingly modernized and globalized. As women take their places in politics, work life, academia and in the social life, it is imperative to construct a society that is more sensitive and respectful to the fundamental duties of women which is integrated with their role of transferring values and culture. In this international symposium with attendants who are academicians, politicians, researchers, activists, and students; it is hoped that the opportunities and difficulties of Muslim women in the changing times can be discussed and debated in detail. Also social awareness will be raised by approaching this issue from different perspectives. Introductory Message
