ENGLISH LESSON İSTEK ACIBADEM KINDERGARTEN Bulletin 3 A Big Hello To Our Dear Parents, ( Kocaman Merhabalar Sevgili Velilerimiz ), 2902.2012 This month we have had a wonderful and enjoyable time in English. ( İngilizce bu ay çok güzel ve eğlenceli geçti ) Your children have learnt about Sea Animals, Penguins, Elephants, Jungle Animals, Fruits and Vegetables. ( Çocuklarınız ; deniz hayvanları, penguen, fil, orman hayvanları, meyve ve sebze konularını öğrendiler.) They created their own picnic basket artwork by colouring in pictures of fruit, cutting them out and sticking them onto a drawing of a picnic basket. ( Onlar meyve resimleri boyayıp kestiler ve sonra bir piknik sepeti resminin üzerine yapıştırdılar.) Apart from this they also made masks of elephants and sea animals which they thoroughly enjoyed. Once again this month all teachers within the English department are very happy with the progress that the children have portrayed, and we are looking forward to another fantastic month of learning in March. The chidren learned to name the parts of a penguin s body. Çocuklar penguenlerin vücut bölümlerini öğrendiler. They also coloured, cut and pasted pictures of vegetables and made their own vegetable soup. Sebze resimleri boyayıp kestiler ve sonra yapıştırarak kendi sebze çorbalarını yaptılar. The chidren learned to make sentences beginning with I like and I don t like in relation to the vegetables. Çocuklar sevdikleri ve sevmedikleri sebzeleri cümle kurarak söylediler.
Computer games we also played to aid the children in memorising the names of the vegetables. Çocuklar sebzelerin isimlerini öğrenmek için bilgisayar oyunları oynadılar. The chidren decorated their own treasure boxes with pictures they coloured and cut themselves. Inside they put mini flash card pictures that they coloured and cut themselves.
