Değerli Öğrenciler, Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu tarafından hazırlanan Erasmus Sınavının Üçüncü Basamağına (Konuşma) katılmaktasınız. Sınav öncesinde, sınav boyunca ve sınav sonunda uymanız gereken bazı kuralları sizlere hatırlatmak istedik. Sınav öncesinde: Öğrenci kimlik kartınızın yanınızda bulunması gerektiğini, aksi halde sınava katılamayacağınızı unutmayınız. Sınav görevlileri gerekli gördükleri takdirde kimliğinizi kontrol edebilir. Sınav evrakının üstündeki kimlik bilgilerinizi eksiksiz ve doğru bir biçimde doldurmanız gerekmektedir. Aksi halde sınavınız geçersiz sayılacaktır. Bu bilgilerin tam ve doğru olması tamamen sizin sorumluluğunuzdadır. Sınav salonları ve isim listeleri sınavdan bir gün önce YDYO web sitesinde duyurulmakta ve sınav salonu kapılarına asılmaktadır. Sınava gireceğiniz salondaki isim listesini kontrol etmeniz ve isminizin bu listede olduğundan emin olmanız gerekmektedir. İngilizce Öğretmenliği öğrencileri; o Sınav salonuna/salonlarına ikili gruplar şeklinde alınacaktır. Gruplar rastgele belirlenecektir. Diğer Bölümlerin öğrencileri; o Sınav salonlarına tek tek alınacaktır. Sınava giriş saatleri önceden belirleneceğinden ve aksamaya sebep olmamak adına ilan edilen saatte sınava girmek zorunda olduğunuzu unutmayınız. Belirlenen saatte gelmemeniz halinde listenin en sonunda sınava alınırsınız. Sınav boyunca: İngilizce Öğretmenliği öğrencileri; o Sınav süreniz grup başına 10-12 dakikadır. o Sınav görevlileri ve diğer öğrencilerle yalnızca İngilizce kullanarak iletişim kurmanız beklenmektedir. o Sınav salonunda görevliler tarafından yapılan her türlü uyarıya uymanız ve yönergeleri takip etmeniz gerekmektedir. Diğer Bölümlerin öğrencileri; o Sınav süreniz 6-8 dakikadır. o Sınav görevlileri ile İngilizce kullanarak iletişim kurmanız beklenmektedir. o Sınav salonunda görevliler tarafından yapılan her türlü uyarıya uymanız ve yönergeleri takip etmeniz gerekmektedir. Sınav sonunda: Sınavdan çıkarken sınav evrakındaki bilgilerinizi ve imza atıp atmadığınızı kontrol ediniz. Unutmayınız! Dear Students, You are now entering the Third Section (Speaking) of Erasmus Exam prepared by School of Foreign Languages. We would like to remind you some rules that you should follow before, during and at the end of the exam. Before the exam: Do Not Forget that you should bring your Student ID Card with you; otherwise, you cannot enter the exam. Exam Supervisors may check your ID if necessary. You should fill in your ID information thoroughly and correctly on the Exam Form. Otherwise, your exam will be considered INVALID. Thoroughness and accuracy of your information is completely your responsibility. Exam rooms and name lists are announced on SFL web site the day before the exam and name lists are hung on the doors of exam rooms. You should check your names on these lists and make sure you enter the exam in the correct exam room. For ELT students; o Students will be accepted into the exam rooms as pairs. Groups will be decided randomly. For students of Other Departments; o Students will be accepted into the exam rooms one by one. Since the lists and exam periods will be decided and announced in advance and not to cause any disruptions, Do Not Forget that you should be in the exam rooms ON TIME. If you are not available at the time of your exam period, you may be accepted at the end of the list. During the exam: ELT students; o Your exam period is 10-12 minutes per pair. o It is expected that you communicate only in English with Exam Supervisors and other students. o You should follow the instructions made by Exam Supervisors at all times. Students of Other Departments; o Your exam period is 6-8 minutes per person. o It is expected that you communicate in English with Exam Supervisors. o You should follow the instructions made by Exam Supervisors at all times. At the end of the exam: Do Not Forget to check your personal information on the Exam Form and whether you signed the Form. Please Remember! Speaking For ELT Part 1 Personal Information (2-3 minutes) Konuşma İngilizce Öğretmenliği Bölümü In the first part of the Speaking Exam, you need to give some information about yourself your personal details, what do you do every day, things you like doing, etc. Part 2 Simulated Situation (2-3 minutes) The examiner will give you instructions about a situation. You are going to look at a picture and talk about it. The examiner will guide you what to talk about. Listen to the examiner s instructions carefully. If you do not understand, ask the examiner to explain again. Q: You are choosing a present for your friend s wedding. Look at the picture and talk about what presents you can buy, then decide which one to get. 3
Part 3 Responding to a Photograph (3 minutes) In the Part 3 of the Speaking Exam, you need to look at a photograph, show it to your friend and talk about it. You should not only list the things you see in the photograph but also talk about who the person is/the people are, where she or he is/they are, what she or he is doing/they are doing, why she or he is doing/they are doing it, etc. Candidate A: Look at the Photo, show it to Candidate B and talk about it. Candidate B: Look at the Photo, show it to Candidate A and talk about it. 4
Part 4 General Conversation Based on the Photographs (3 minutes) In the Part 4, you need to talk about a topic based on the photographs used in Part 3. You need to build a conversation with your friend and ask and answer some questions. Q: Talk to each other about friendships in today s world. Talk about how internet and social media effect friendships. 5
For Other Departments Part 1 Introducing Yourself (2-3 minutes) Diğer Bölümler The first part of the test takes 2-3 minutes and you need to show that you can use English to introduce yourself to someone you do not know for the first time. Testin ilk bölümü 2-3 dakika sürmektedir ve tanımadığınız birine kendinizi ilk defa İngilizce kullanarak tanıtmanız gerekmektedir. What s your (full) name? How do you spell your first/last name? Where are you from? Where do you live? Tell me about your family. Which department do you study? What subjects do you study? Which subject do you like the best? Part 2 Question-Answer (3-5 minutes) The second part takes 3-5 minutes and you need to answer the questions that the examiner asks you. There are various questions starting from the level of A1 to B2. Through answering these questions, you will try to show your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and communication skills.
