Y KUŞAĞI ARAŞTIRMASI TÜRKİYE BULGULARI: 17 Ocak 2014
Yönetici Özeti Bu araştırma, 2025 yılında iş dünyasının yüzde 25 ini oluşturacak olan Y Kuşağı nın iş dünyasından, hükümetten ve geleceğin iş ortamından beklentilerini ortaya koymaktadır. 27 ülkede, Ocak 1983 ve sonrası doğumlu, 7 bin 800 kişinin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen araştırma, Türkiye de de 328 kişi ile yapılmıştır. Özel sektörde en önemli hedef istihdam Türkiye de Y kuşağı iş hayatının varoluş sebebini önem sırasına göre istihdam, kalkınma ve kârlılık olarak sıralıyor. Oranlar ise dünya ortalamasının üzerinde seyrediyor. Buna göre iş hayatının hedefleri arasında istihdam sağlamak ( % 56 ile dünya ortalamasının 15 puan üzerinde) toplumsal gelişmeye katkı (% 40 ile ortalamadan 11 puan daha fazla) ve kâra odaklanma (% 38 ile ortalamanın 4 puan üzerinde) bulunuyor.
Kamunun hedefi ekonomik refah Buna karşılık Türkiye deki Y kuşağına göre devletin varoluş nedeni; ekonomik refah, istihdam ve eğitim olarak sıralanıyor. Devletin vatandaşın ekonomik refahını sağlamakla görevli olduğu fikri Türkiye deki Y kuşağında % 43 ile dünya ortalamasının 15 puan üzerinde gerçekleşti. Devletin istihdam sağlama görevi ise dünya ortalamasının 4 puan üzerinde bir şekilde gerçekleşerek % 36 oldu. Devletin eğitim sorumluluğu olduğu görüşü ise dünya ortalamasın 2 puan altında ve % 32 olarak gerçekleşti. İş dünyası etik kurallara saygılı değil İş dünyasındaki davranışların etik olup olmadığına ilişkin Türkiye deki Y kuşağı ile dünyadaki akranları arasında ilginç farklılıklar bulunuyor. Dünya da Y kuşağının iş dünyasının etik kurallara saygılı olduğunu düşünenlerin oranı % 54 iken, Türkiye de bu oran % 39 da kaldı.
Türkiye de en önemli sorun işsizlik Dünyada toplumların karşılaştığı en önemli 5 sorunu sıralamada, Türkiye deki Y kuşağı ile dünyadaki akranları arasında farklılıklar bulunuyor. Y kuşağı Türkiye nin karşılaşacağı en önemli 5 sorunu sırasıyla; işsizlik (% 43), ülkeler arası savaş ve çatışma (% 42), gelir dağılımında eşitsizlik (% 41), kaynakların kıtlığı (% 39) ve terör (% 30) olarak belirtiyor. Dünyada ise Y kuşağı bu sıralamayı şöyle yapıyor: İşsizlik (% 37), kaynakların kıtlığı (% 33), gelir dağılımındaki eşitsizlik (% 28), ülkeler arası çatışmalar (% 20) ve terör (% 15).
