1 To and from We have already seen the suffıx used for expressing the location of an object whether it s in, on or at something else: de. This suffix indicates that there is no movement and that the object stays at its location. e sufix which follows e-type vowel harmony indicates movement towards another location and is equivalent to the English to. If the noun ends with a vowel then the buffer y needs to be used. den sufix which follows e-type vowel harmony aswell indicates movement away from a location and is equivalent to the English from. We have already seen this with the suffix de. The able below gives all the variations. Notice the variation with the spelling for some of the words.
