Bu rapor proje web sitesinden (www.femforging.eu) indirilmeye açıktır (Referans 4). 5 / 1 FEM FORGING Continuous Training of Specialists on Design and Optimization of hot, warm and cold FORGING processes using FEM simulation technologies The FEM FORGING project, which is included within the European Lifelong Learning Programme Leonardo Da Vinci Transfer of Innovation Project, has one year work and during this time three meeting were held; the kickoff meeting in Manchester Inglaterra (November 2012), the second one in PadovaItalia (March 2013) and the last on in IstanbulTurkey (October 2013). This project is focused upon the application of finite element simulation technologies (FEM), in the field of hot, warm and cold forging. Summary of work done During this year the tasks that have been developed are: To create a corporate image and a web page to share the development of the project. To do an international survey, which questionnaire was divided into three sections: competences, training and the question of common problems found in forging. Make a report with the conclusions. Examine the few competence catalogues related to forging which currently exist at European level and do a report with the conclusions about it. Create a draft version of the catalogue of needed skills and competences based on the responses form the surveys and the study previously mentioned. Create a training programme based on the designed qualifications. Complete the training programme with industrial case studies. These study cases are still in production process, the document will be updated. Results of the international survey In order to help to ensure that the deliverables are as relevant as possible, and will enjoy widespread usage, a survey of industry needs was deemed to be essential. This survey was undertaken during the early stages of the project and had two clear objectives: 1) To identifying the key issues that were causing the European forging industry the most difficulty. 2) To pinpoint in which areas training would be most useful. The results are related to an international survey with 128 respondents from 21 countries. This survey shows the most important forging issues related to process numerical analysis, the training need from industry in terms of numerical simulation and the need of specific qualification on the sector. The report is available to download at the website www.femforging.eu (Reference 4)
Anket sonucunda katılımcıların çoğunluğunun en önemli problem olarak tanımladığı bazı problemler aşağıda sunulmuştur: The survey results offer much interest information but we will try to summarize them. 5 / 2 One of the most important questions in the survey was related to which what they consider the most important issues, and there are some issues which most of the respondents highly as being of greatest importance: Kalıp ömrünün tahmini ve iyileştirilmesi Dövme parçasının son şekli ve boyutlarının kesin bir şekilde tahmini Kusurlar: çatlaklar, katlanmalar, eksik doldurma Malzeme akışı Tool life improvement and tool failure Accuracy, final shape and dimensions of the forged parts Defects: cracks; Folds/laps; Under filling Material flow Ayrıca, katılımcılara şu anki kabiliyetlerin hangisinde yapılacak iyileştirmenin kendilerine daha faydalı olacağı da sorulmuştur. Bu soruda en çok tekrar edilen cevaplar aşağıda sunulmuştur: a) Malzeme kanunları b) Hasar kanunları c) Sürtünme kanunları Also, respondents were asked about which improvements in the current capabilities would be most advantageous to them. So this question will clearly be extremely valuable to software developers, but will also be used by the project to decide which areas need most attention in terms of developing training material. Most repeated answers were: a) Material behaviour laws b) Damage laws c) Friction laws
5 / 3 Katılımcılara eğitim malzemesinin elverişliliği sorulduğunda, aşağıda özetlenen gereksinimler üzerinde net bir fikir birliği tespit edilmiştir: Daha fazla web temelli eğitim Daha fazla harici eğitim malzemesi Eğitim malzemesinin belirli bir yazılıma bağlı olmaması When asked about the current availability of training material, there was a clear consensus that it s necessary: More web based training More external courses That they courses should be independent of a particular software package. After the studio of the results provided by the survey we can see that there is an overwhelming message that industry intends to increase its use of numerical process modelling, but in order to do this in an effective manner, many more people will need to be trained, and additional training material will be required to do this. There is a desire for more of this training to be web based, interactive in nature, and independent of any particular software. In conclusion, the survey has confirmed the timeliness and objectives of the FEMForging project. The findings of the survey will be used to ensure that the project deliverables meet industry needs as fully as possible.
